Discos were not supposed to collect 1 naira on estimated billings, but ensure everybody has the prepaid meters.

I saw a friend's status yesterday night lamenting how he paid he got 20.6 units after recharging 5k on his prepaid . Imagine , how many days that one wan take last ?

That means with 20k he will only get less than 83 units . Imagine what that will do to businesses ....

Later people will be asking why is the dollar rate going down and price of commodities not coming down. A barber's operating cost will increase , a welder's operating cost will increase , those selling cold drinks will have an increase in their operating cost, even the woman that grinds pepper u eat at home will have to Jack up her price to pay electricity bill and breakeven.

When Tinubu said "Let the poor breath ", I think that statement was a sarcasm. Tinubu probably believes vast majority of Nigerians are rich or maybe living above average . That's the only explanation for this continued strangling hold on the people's throat with all these anti-people policies

I did NNPC entry level in 2019, got to interview stage, traveled to Abuja for the interview. I felt I did very well during the interview stage but I didnt get in.

When they started sending offer letters to applicant, 80% of those they picked were technical roles that's related to Engineering and the likes.

The few Administrative they picked were majorly first class and those with ICAN or ACCA.

I just don't have the mind for all the mental and emotional stress that comes with applying for those multinationals. I never attempted applying at any major multinational as a fresh graduate.

I know getting into multinationals is much easier when one is professionally qualified and has job experience already.

This country ehn, if u don't have someone to either guide u or u map out strategies for urself through research; u can end up sitting at home one year even with a first class degree.

A friend of mine will be resuming a new job next week. That particular job was posted on a whatsapp group I belong to; I sent the job brief to him and another friend of ours. The funniest thing, they both made it to the final stage where they met with the GMD and one of them got the job.

Nowadays u just need to be good at networking and be prepared & ready when the job pops up

It's a ruse. Our forefathers were jealous people who couldn't stomach thoughts of their wives cheating on them. They invented all these series of lies to keep them in check.

This government has mastered the act of propaganda and they have passed it down to private companies which government directly influences like players in the power sector.

Instead of just coming out and state it plainly that they have increased electricity traiff generally, they kept mouthing " only Band A customers will be affected" . Now see them dishonestly classifying different areas that don't even enjoy 10 hours light daily as band A customers that are assumed to be enjoying 20-24 hours light daily.

These people are just wicked. See them adding areas that don't even see 10 hours light daily to Band A all because they want to justify the tariff increment.

You will be amazed with what some tribes practice as tradition in this country till this day. In some parts of Edo and Delta State, a married woman cannot cheap on her husband. Any woman that does will die a slow and painful death, yet married men can cheat on their wives and nothing happens.

Na poverty still dey make those kind culture exist in some parts of the country .

U will notice that people who hail from that same part of the country who are very much well-to-do and most likely living in the city would not even consider such traditions when a family member dies.

It's only families domiciled in the village with struggling relatives that keep such obnoxious traditions alive .
