Another thing people should know is, there is no way these guys do any indept research before dropping that many odds with the frequency with which they drop it.

Reading this story again, I just can't but laugh.

So the guy escaped custody, booked a flight, pass through immigration and was cleared to board despite his name being in the news for the past one month or thereabouts.

NFIU knows who terrorism financiers are . Someone from NFIU emailed Punch newspapers with the name of the terrorism financiers as confirmed by the link u shared

It said details of the development were revealed by the NFIU, in an email sent on Tuesday night, entitled “Designation of Individuals and Entities for March 18, 2024.”

It indicated that the document revealed that the Nigeria Sanctions Committee met on March 18, 2024, where specific individuals and entities were recommended for sanction following their involvement in terrorism financing.

“The Honourable Attorney General of the Federation, with the approval of the President, has thereupon designated the following individuals and entities to be listed on the Nigeria Sanctions List,” the document read in part.

It's only normal for the spokesperson to deny the report since he didn't send the originating email. If the report was false, NFIU would've sued punch newspapers who claimed they got the report from NFIU.

Lemme give you example. Security outfits are not that present in most rural areas here and I believe in other Southern parts too.

A wealthy man receives a letter, notification. We will kill you and your family if you don't give us X amount of money. He just have to give because his security is not guarantee. This is just one way where they fund themselves. They also kidnap for ransom.

I'm not disputing the that terrorists compel local traders, farmers and well-to-do people to send them funds. But I'm also telling u that NFIU tracks origin of funds traced to suspected terrorists.

Some of those terrorists arrested or those killed in battle, the phones recovered from them are looked into and government is able to investigate the origin of some.of those funds.

If FG is coming out to name some of those people as terrorism sponsors, it's because they have carried out preliminary investigation on those people and they have found them to be culpable.

Gumi cannot just sit In Kaduna and be claiming FG is wrong except he's working for the terrorists and running PR for them.

We have to be careful with how we compare and talk about that era. There is absolutely no way a coach like Wenger who had won numerous league titles including being invincible, FA Cups and a trip to the UEFA suddenly became content making top 4. You think selling his best players gave him any joy? Some of these things are tough.

I challenge anyone to mention a top class coach during that era that Wenger competed against or even now who would have come close to achieving top 4 considering our reality at the time. If anything, top teams like Madrid and even City openly recruited him. When the position became vacant, did you wonder why no top coach wanted to touch it?

Furthermore, Arteta is benefiting from the sacrifices made by Wenger during those difficult years. Keeping the club alive by qualifying for the UCL, getting bargains and selling his best players kept the club afloat financially. Arteta got a taste of something similar in his first 2 years when he had no funds. We flirted with relegation before finishing 8th in consecutive seasons. We just couldn’t compete with other teams financially.

If Arsenal finds itself in a similar situation today, I can assure you that we will lose Saka/ Saliba/ Odegaard / Rice and Arteta will jump ship ASAP! We will have to rely on our academy and bargains to even stay alive in the EPL.

U know the issue with cutting Wenger some slack about that era is? PERCEPTION.

Some fans including myself feel/believe that while wenger gives as impression that his hands are tied considering the financial situation; it appears as though he enjoyed being contented with the top 4 challenge every year.

We may be wrong in our perception about him, but he gives air of someone who was contented with youngings every year knowing fully well his job was secured since he was making hell of money for the management while doing their bidding. Like I do try to put myself in his shoes and many times I come to the conclusion that I wouldve walked away from the club before things got to the level it got to before he left.

Arsene Wenger was a very good manager and he would've gotten juicy contracts elsewhere if he wanted to on the premise that the club is making him into a selling coach rather than a coach challenging for major trophies. Since that 2006 finals everything went downhill and he just stay put; it can never be me.

I'm sure if Wenger had left, the club signs another manager who fails while trying not to spend money ; the board's hand would've been forced to spend and we would've gone past this stage long ago. See how long loserpool spent in the wilderness, they just kept at it till their management got it right with klopp.

This point can never be overemphasized. Men should really take care of themselves and we shouldn't always resort to self medication until it is too late.

When I advise people around me that it's always wise to seek opinion of doctors on any health challenge u experience, they always feel as though I'm taking from a privileged point of view cos as a private sector person I have access to company funded health insurance.

U will see a people having constant headache & insomnia swallowing panadol instead of going for a check-up to rule out High blood pressure.

It's not really poverty per se. It's strange that u will just wake up one moring and request for DNA for a child u were in the labour room when he/she was delivered and Ur wife never gave u reason to doubt her Fidelity.

During our parent's time, a woman can tell the husband she's going to spend a week at her parent's village only for her to spend 5 days in a man's house and just 2 days in her parents house. There's no how the husband will find out... If the sexx she has at the man's place turn out to be a pregnancy there's no way the husband will suspect the baby is not his since they are married and they get intimate regularly.
