izzou:I can see u are trolling at this point. Carry on |
izzou:And u don't know most companies have collapsed the remote working structure of COVID-19 period Abi ? He say insensitivity of access bank . I'm sure the Wigwe family appreciated her 9 days wait to live her life ; that's why they included city of David in all the funeral plans . |
izzou:Lolz . Dey play ! Shey Alhaji razak okoya , Oba Oniru , Tony Elumelu , Oba Olaoye Ghandi etc are all members of the church Abi ? |
izzou:Lies ! What of people that want to open form M? What of people that needs to open letter of credit ? What I of those that need to make bulk deposits and withdrawals? U are just throwing anything up just to see anyone that sticks just to defend the pastor's insensitivity . |
izzou:Which comapny did not honour its boss ? Smh Banking is regulated by BOFIA act and u know it. The company cannot deviate from it. The pastor and his wife can postpone the celebration and the ground will not open to swallow them; in fact the family of the deceased will appreciate them for behaving like true Christians. The pastor and his wife have led a lot of people far away from the church with their singular act. They are worse than than the priest and Levite in the Good Samaritan story . |
Theflint1:Exactly ! Even Dangote who is a Muslim will most likely not go ahead an elaborate party like that one few days after Wigwe's death considering his relationship with Wigwe . Like the man Wigwe allegedly provided a non-collaterized loan for the church to build their trinity towers . A loan they are still repaying o. He didn't stop there, he ensured his company paid down for 10 year lease on an office premise in the trinity towers. The pastor and his family no get good heart one bit! |
izzou:The woman's birth date is 8th January 1964; she clocked 60 in January . If she can shift the celebration till February because she was globetrotting , nothing stops her from postponing it cos of Wigwe's death. The celebration was insensitive as at that time and it's obvious the Wigwe's didn't appreciate that. They have rightly locked the church out of the week-long program to celebrate the man. If the people cannot feel the church is with them through their trying moments , then the church has lost its course . Simple ! We've gone past access not closing down. U are the only one that knows why u keep repeating that line like it will change anything . |
afrodoc2:Apologies . Nigeria don make person eye see things worse pass this one ni |
Omo ! This country , u fit even dey on ur own make death find u come https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4DRzfIrj6g/?igsh=emk2cGg4dzllcTJm |
izzou:I know what u are trying to do with this question . But before u go far let me just tell u what I believe . If a member of a church dies untimely and in a tragic way ; irrespective of whether the person is rich or poor the church leadership should be seen as mourning with the member's family. This should reflect in their actions and deeds ; not just by word of mouth. Their Bible says they should weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice. They decided to rejoice while the Wigwes were weeping . The belated birthday celebration wasn't a do or die affair . Postponing the celebration or cancelling it entirely would have been better than going ahead with it. The pastor and his wife simply didn't act based on the Bible they preach to people every Sunday. There's a time for everything . They messed up. Simple ! |
Emaprince:Very unserious set of people . |
izzou:Access cannot close its business for a day because the law expects them to serve their customers whose businesses will be impacted by their closure on a weekday that is not a public holiday . The church on the other hand is not governed by any law that says such ; neither will the pastor's wife birthday cancellation/postponement harm anybody's business . Wigwe was a pastor in the same church ; that should count for something at least. U know what u are doing here is false equivalence . The pastor and his family messed up and that explains why the Wigwe family excluded them from the funeral plans . Not even service of songs ; they just treated them like strangers and fixed every Lagos program to be held at Eko Hotels The funny thing is so many people whose faith were shaking before now have bee provided a reason to give up on the faith with the pastor and his wife's act . |
livelongprospa:So MTN bleeding in their 2023 financials negate the fact that they made profit for almost 20 years after glo came on board and they had to improve on their product offering due to competition ? |
izzou:Access is a business entity owned by shareholders whom Wigwe is one of . Access is regulated by CBN and other government agencies . The issue is not over flogged one bit! If the church leadership can't be empathetic over the death of a member , then the church has lost its place as the succor of a common man. Morally the birthday party celebration was an unwise move on the part of the pastor and his family . Wigwe was even a fellow pastor o. Wigwe was not just a floor member in the church , he was a pastor . If a church would not care about optics ; how then do they intend to win lost souls? |
raumdeuter:I just wonder what the pastor will be preaching on the pulpit going forward . Smh |
livelongprospa:U are not really making an important point here. I pointed u to the fact that MTN found a way to accommodate some of the things they considered unprofitable when glo came around. That's what happens when u have competition. A business owner will be willing to lose some part of its over bloated profit rather than lose almost everything to a competitor with better product offering . It is what it is. |
livelongprospa:I am interested in knowing the name of the author of this article . These are the people I always issues with. I don't have issues with IBD Dende being a smuggler who was seen assaulting a customs officer in a video that was not edited ; neither do I have issues with each and every customs officer trying to pacify him in the video knowing the kind of influence he wielded across the boarder and even to Aso rock. However , I have issues with educated ediots like the author of that article trying to whitewash Dende's self-battered image and attempting to gaslight the public about him being victimized. Somebody that used his own mouth to allege the customs boss is involved in smuggling ; so he should be allowed to carry out his own smuggling activities too. How do u explain tbat away ? Do these people think their audience are fools ? |
raumdeuter:Na this same birthday . |
GloriousGbola:The man no try at all. I saw video of his tribute to Wigwe a day after the helicopter crash was confirmed. He was all gloomy and emotional in the video. One would've thought he would postpone the wife's birthday celebrations after that . I'm sure they have a list of everyone they invited to the party initially. Sending a message to them about the postponement would not have been a big deal at all; those ones would've understood especially knowing that the initial birth day was actually January and not February in the first place |
izzou:Lolz . U are comparing a business ( a going concern ) like access bank with a church ? Really ? A church is like a moral compass!! Why do u think the story of Good Samaritan was emphasized in the Bible ? A priest and a Levite saw a man beaten and injured by a thief and they passed him over trying to avoid wahala . But a Samaritan who is generally not regarded as godly took it upon himself not only to tend to the injured man, took him to an inn, paid for his cost of hospitalization and even promised to pay whatever additional cost May accrue when he comes back. There was a reason he was labelled " Good Samaritan" cos he did what was morally right at that point. He behaved better than a priest who was more like an ordained pastor and a Levite whose tribe were chosen to serve God in their works and deeds. A lot of people will lose their faith with the act of this pastor & his family whether u believe it or not |
livelongprospa:Your believe doesn't negate the fact that DSTV is enjoying economies of scale which comes naturally to them because they don't have any viable competitor . Let me explain it to u. MTN for example have competitors in glo and airtel and people can decide to port to those ISP's provided they are willing to live with the little inadequacies/inefficiencies of those competitors . DSTV on the other hand is the only cable TV operator that offers the service they offer and they have the whole country at their beck and call. If there are two or more competitions for DSTV , they will always consider those ones' reaction anytime they think of an increase in price . The same way u think what DSTV offer is cheap was the same way people thought what MTN offered was cheap until glo came and changed the game of billing. Since the year glo debuted MTN has always made profit charging lesser prices ( of course until 2023 when they made their first loss due to foreign exchange losses occasioned by the devaluation of naira ) |
The man in the video is Pastor of RCCG city of David; Oniru estate Victoria Island where Hwrbert Wigwe worshipped before his untimely demise. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/3ZgSh9LKsUrYAybm/?mibextid=xCPwDs The ocassion was the 60th birthday of the pastor's wife on 18th February 2024. Herbert Wigwe died on 9th February 2024 and somehow the pastor and his wife went ahead to celebrate the pastor's wife's extravagant birthday 9 days after . Below is the account of a member's opinion of who Herbert Wigwe was to them in that church . Personally, I believe there's everything wrong with the pastor's wife's birthday party celebration. The fact that the woman was actually born in January and she postponed the party to February means she could as well have postponed it further after the tragedy of Wigwe's death.

livelongprospa:We are not paying peanuts for DSTV; they are are banking on economies of scale and it's working for them. They don't have any competitor so they have the whole market share to themselves ; even if they reduce their prices today they will still make profit in Nigeria |
TrebleChamp:TSTV was never a serious a company to start with |
iamoyindamola:No, I don't think it was bribing that ended HiTV. I learnt it was their inability to get access to credit facility to pay for EPL rights because most of the banks were not willing to offer them loan for that purpose . There was a deadline for payment of TV rights for EPL and HiTV couldn't come up with the funds before the deadline . Even Toyin Subair's love for spending in front of K1 and other popular musicians didn't help matters . Toyin Subair is now a special assistant to Tinubu sha ; maybe he will rise from the ashes sonetikes later and slug it out with DSTV now that he has connected to the hisghest source of power in the land . |
GloriousGbola:I'm sorry I can never enjoy watching TV with lights on as much as without lights on. The only light I want to see is the one coming from the TV/screen . |
Theflint1:I hate that shiiit! Even when we dey watch ball for viewing center that year , na only when onile wan collect money he dey switch on light. Once he collects his money he must switch off the light for us to enjoy champions league football . Putting on light in a viewing center or putting light at the back of ur TV in ur home is like switching on light at a cinema to watch a movie. |
iamoyindamola:U are spot-on on this. HiTV really messed up not seeing through their competition with DSTV. By now we won't be dealing with arbitrary increase in price from DSTV |
Ibime:This IPTV wey u no gree show us love ehn.... 😤 |
