So you think their own countries do not have internal challenges, inflation, insecurity, border crises when they made the trips with their children?

Any reason you stopped at Sunak and Trudeau who have underage children and not those with mature children who follow their father for overseas trips

This is from India also, Maybe the country does not have internal challenges, flowing with milk and honey

Make we thread softly on agenda.
So Canada is broke , America is broke , UK is broke and majority of their countrymen are living below the poverty line abi ?

All I'm saying in my post is that Nigeria is a broke country according to u and the APC government . This is not the time for Nigeria to be emulating those countries who have states with economies bigger than naija's economy .

I remember u are one of the people that said Nigeria has revenue problem . If indeed Nigeria has revenue problem I don't think Yinka and Seyi Tinubu should be traveling to Qatar with their father at the expense of Nigerian tax payers at this period of time when Nigerians are battling economic hardship .

That's the point I was trying to make and that has nothing to do with agenda. It's just common sense

Why stop at Trudeau and Sunak whose children are minors and likely to be in school for most of the year

Why not Biden and Trump with adult children who travel on state visit with their adult children or those are not western leaders or is it that their countries do not have internal challenges when they made the trips?

Lets agenda agend anyway
U obviously read only the first line of the post u quoted and stopped there

It's the twist people have been complaining about. They said it's rubbish twist and doesn't make sense. But I know people's rating of movies is subjective sha

It is not uncommon for children of world leaders to accompany their parents on foreign trips. In fact, it is the norm. Canadian PM Trudeau is known to travel with his family on official trips abroad. Same with UK PMs - even if somewhat muted.

From the public image and diplomacy angle, bringing family members can soften a leader’s public image and aid in diplomatic relations by showcasing a relatable, family-oriented side.

For some leaders, taking their children on such trips is a way of educating them about world affairs and different cultures. Others do it to maintain some semblance of family life, despite the demands of public office, and for security considerations.

The Obamas, Clintons, Bushs, Trumps and others went on tons of foreign trips whilst in office with their families.

We really need to stop majoring in minors in the name of castigating everything.

#NigeriaWillSucceed

#TheTiger
State Visits are usually ceremonial even with bilateral negotiations and discussions at the highest level. Leaders around the world are known to travel with family members on such visits. Enlightened people should not reduce themselves to men and women of the caves just for political convenience.

It's the audacity for me !

These bozos that Tinubu employed as spokespersons/ special advisers will be quick to remind u of what obtains in the western world when their slave master wants to squander the commonwealth of the people . However , what they won't tell u is that the minimum wage in Nigeria as of today is $20 a month ( I.e 30,000/ 1,500 exchange rate ) .

Yet u will see people who live in the western world agree with these aides and justify nonsense .

If Nigeria is indeed broke as being claimed by Tinubu's government , there's no justification for Tinubu to travel with two of his sons on a state visit that is supposed to be official meeting where investment and mutual benefits between Qatar and Nigeria is to be discussed .

Trudeau , Sunak and the rest of them western leaders do not travel out of their country with their families leaving behind an unstable
Currency , ever increasing inflation, food insecurity , so Many internal security challenges and an impoverished majority of the population they govern . 🤷🏼‍♂️

Are you sure this is what happened?

From what happened Nketiah was dropped after the Brentford match and Trossard took over, starting the next game against Leicester and that's how he displaced Nketiah from the first 11. Immediately Jesus was fit and Ready to play he thrust him back in and Trossard was relegated back to the bench.
Jesus didn't come in almost immediately.

How we wan take so this Kiwior situation? To be honest, since he came in for Zinny against Liverpool, he has been spectacular and the biggest credit should go to Arteta.

He is playing confident and Arteta has kept things very simple for him with that back 4. He is in a good run of form, provides aerial threat and now adding goals…do we change that? Or allow him continue as a starter?
I will suggest Arteta approach this the same way he approached the Jesus vs Nketiah issue last year. Remember Jesus was out injured for a long time and Nketiah stepped-in combining with Saka and Martinelli upfront to lead us on a winning streak that resulted in lot of goals .

When Jesus was fully fit he didn't just displace Nketiah ; Jesus was actually coming from bench gradually till it became a situation where Arteta can decide to use either of them to start a match.

I think same template should be followed here. Timber should be eased back into the side little by little . And then the gaffer can decide who he will prefer as starter afterwards

https://www.nairaland.com/8013643/oronsaye-report-list-government-agencies

lets see how it goes
Let's see how it goes sha.

But between me and u, Nigeria is a wasteful country. Some of the agencies listed for either subsuming or scrapping shouldn't have existed in the first place. Subsequent governments have burdened the country with so many of those unnecessary agencies drawing income from the national purse.

Normally that Abike Dabiri commission has no business being an agency on its own in the first place; it should've been a department under ministry of foreign affairs cos obvious it's a foreign affairs related agency.

I Will give Tinubu kudos if he's able to see it through and look further inwards for more agencies that need to go. Tinubu should also shed weight on the number of his own personal assistants & advisers too. All these one he has special adviser on print media, senior special assistant on media & communications , special adviser on information , etc are not necessary for a country that is being touted as currently broke.... One or two spokesperson is okay if we are really interested in cutting cost

Hmmm not really a laughing matter. It got to a point my parents were doubting whether those guys were his brothers or just “brothers” in the African sense, until their mum visited.

Terrorising your own brother over unreasonable church doctrine. Church doctrine that has since changed.
Baba this thing was real.

One of my closest friend till date; his dad was "olori ijo" (i.e founder) of one Cherubim Church. Nomally his dad had 2 wives while he was still in the world and when he eventually became a clergy their doctrine didn't make it mandatory that he divorced either of the wives like some other church doctrines requires.

Now that my friend has a much older stepbrother who was already a graduate while we were in secondary school. Could u believe that this bros lives like just 4 to 5 streets away from his father's house yet he doesn't visit. He completely recused himself from associating with his family members. Even when he sees my friend when that one passes by his house; he just greets him like u would greet a random person u know.

Why? Because the bros joined Deeper life and didn't want to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. His own father who is equally a Christian but of different denomination is an unbeliever, his own siblings and step siblings who still reside with the father are unbelievers embarassed

The funny thing is the bros didn't grow one bit! When their father died and he came for the burial, the egbon still be like that person wey I know him to be. He didn't dress properly, didn't have people come thru for him; he was just looking like person managing to survive but too proud to seek help from friends and families he didn't want to be unequally yoked with. "Last week, the Nigerian Customs was selling seized rice and seven people died in Lagos. How did we get to that level? The APC government then, led by former President Muhammadu Buhari told us there is abundance of rice production in Abuja,” Ologunagba said.

The pyramid of rice turns out to be pyramid of lies. They claimed then that food production was surplus because of the intervention of the Anchor Borrowers Scheme from the CBN, which again was laden with corruption.

If indeed there was abundance of food production as a result of that intervention, why is there hunger in the land?".

"Where is the pyramid of rice today? The APC owe Nigerians explanation on this at this crucial period. Billions of naira were expended on the Anchor Borrowers programme but where is the food?”.

Winners and Christ Embassy were already putting on trousers as far back as I can remember, but that particular church wasn't having any of it. Knee-length skirts too were enforced.

Hairs must be covered for women, no weavons or wigs, but braids with 'attachments' for hair extensions could be overlooked. No dyed hair, of course. Piercings on men were a no-no, dreads were forbidden, and women had just the one-piercing-per-ear-lobe kind.

I think that religious indoctrination sort of grew with most of us, no matter how irreligious or liberal we claim to be now. I still haven't been able to rationalize multiple piercings, tattoos, nose rings, and extravagantly dyed hair and unconventional hairstyles.

Funny how the same church which suspended the girl then for putting on trousers which didn't even objectify her now have choir members attending choir practice in trousers and in wigs.
The bold is what I'm saying! RCCG for example was more of an advanced CAC, Assembiles of God or The Apostolic Church when Adeboye took over as G.O. I believe wearing trousers and dressing flamboyant as a lady was seen as being immoral those days till the early 2000's in RCCG.

Today if u walk into a Mega RCCG parish u will see guys on piercing of both ears, girls with jaw dropping dresses, fully fitted trousers and body revealing gowns. The ushers will even tell u at the entrance " U look beautiful in God's image" as a way of welcoming u. Things have really changed and the more conservative approach to religion has gone liberal.

Christ embassy na new generation church that came with the vibes. Winners on the other hand was an Oyedepo coming from a Muslim background who needed to accommodate the new generation that felt left behind by their parents' conservative brand of Christianity for his young ministry to grow.

Like u stated in ur third paragraph, some of those religious indoctrination has a telling on what we judge to be morally right or wrong growing up and even in this present day. For example, I don't have anywhere in my heart that sees homosexuality as normal human behavior.
