Ibime:Exactly! I see a lot of Nigerians getting emotional and lashing out at the lady for reporting the dispatch rider. They claimed she made him lose his job over trivial matter like professing his love. A lot of Nigerians don't understand what acting professional is all about. They casualize everything, they expected the lady to consider the unemployment rate before making him lose his job. But they are not seeing things from the angle that it is the guy that should first think of his job security before making such thoughtless decision. |
iamoyindamola:It is immaterial whether na billionaire approach her or trillionaire. The lady's phone number was only given to him so he can do his job of delivery and move on. His employers didn't hand him her number so he can be professing love to her and harassing her with unsolicited WhatsApp message. The guy clearly overstepped his boundary and got consumed by his mess up. |
Dispatch rider delivered a parcel to Sarah Martin's (I don't know what she does but I guess she's a celebrity). After he successfully delivered the parcel, he later chatted her number on WhatsApp and was professing love for her. She reported him to his company and now he's been sacked. Some Nigerians are saying she went too far and shouldn't have made him lose his job. But methinks the guy doesn't value his job, if he does he would learn not to shiiit where eats. Shey he no fit look for lover outside his work space?

DissTroy:lolz. ![]() Woman comes online to talk about an issue, a lot of people called her out for her opinion, and she kept dragging with them. Dragging her husband for the spat they had with her makes them appear weak. There's no two ways about it. All this talk about control you wife do not apply here. It only shows they can't successfully have her account for her actions but needed her husband to be the cannon fodder they can take out their vexation on. I suspect it's because she was acting as if she's not moved by the dragging she was getting, that's why they had to go for her husband who shared absolutely no opinion on the matter. I don already tire for this back and forth over a matter that is actually a non-issue to start with . |
iamoyindamola:He is a celebrity who won't risk getting cancelled by the mob hence why he just had to bow to pressure and have her set things straight with her antagonists before his craft is dragged into the mess. If she wasn't married to Adekunle Gold won't they make do with just dragging her and moving on? But it is well sha. I wish all parties involved best of luck |
DissTroy:I don't do all this whole gender war and "them vs us" takes when it comes to matters involving the two genders. I look at things from a logical point of view and not from the prism of pre conceived whataboutism. A woman decided to have a spat with people online based on her own opinion. The right and reasonable thing to do is for the people who disagree with her to dig it out with her. Crossing over to start dragging her husband up and down just doesn't make any sense to me. Simple. |
iamoyindamola:You make a lot of assumptions, but you make it sound like it is a fact when it's not. You said if he had spoken to her before about the issue, then she ought to have adjusted. Do you even know if he has discussed with her and she chose to still air her opinion the way her brain processes it? When you say a man having control over his wife, you are literally saying a man should decide what his wife can say and what she can't say. Like, we are talking about two adults who have their own individual opinions about same issue o. See ehn, some of these things u guys are saying are not really practicable in the real sense. We are not in the days when Bible and quran were written when a woman's thought is shaped by her husband's. A woman can have her own opinion however fooolish or wise it may sound to the public. The right thing to do is drag that woman for her opinion she made in her personal capacity except her husband comes out to claim he's down with her in that line of thought. |
iamoyindamola:You also didn't answer the question. What should he do since she already posted her opinion which a lot of people obviously do not agree with? |
DissTroy:You didn't answer the question. What should he do since she already said what she said ? |
iamoyindamola:Wait let me ask you a question. What do you think Adekunle Gold should do in this instance after the wife has already said what she said? |
iamoyindamola:She didn't say that bro. She said men who shut victims up when they come out with their stories about being sexually assaulted are no different from rapists. I don't agree with some of the things she tweeted , but she didn't say all men are potential abuser. She may be fooolish in some of her takes on the matter especially the part where she said she wasn't interested in having a conversation about false rape accusers, but saying her husband needs to be dragged for her personal opinion is a no no. As much as the matter is a sensitive one, what she posted still remains her opinion and not necessarily her husband's opinion on the same matter. We are not in the pre-civilization era when women need to first consult their husband for his opinion before making her opinion (which is the husband's) known to an outsider. Let them leave Adekunle Gold out of whatever dragging they may have in store for Simi. Until Adekunle Gold comes out to claim Simi's opinion as his, I don't see any sense in dragging him at all. |
iamoyindamola:I disagree with the bolded. Simi and Adekunle Gold are two different people, it makes no sense to me trying to drag Adekunle Gold into whatever issues they have with Simi simply because they are married to each other . It's not like Adekunle Gold will be monitoring her social media posts or policing her phone to know she decides to post. Moreover, two people can be married to each other and have two different opinion about the same issue. There's no law that says the husband's opinion on a matter must be the wife's opinion. For example, this Yoruba actress called Foluke Daramola, she is an APC supporter through and through; she supported APC at the Federal level and Lagos state in the last election. Her husband on the other hand supported labour party and was even a chieftain of labour party in Lagos. |
raumdeuter:Yes o! Amala and abula don go premium in this 2020's |
raumdeuter:No be lie! During my baby's naming ceremony most of our guests (including non Yorubas) made it a point of duty to eat our "Amala on the Spot" menu which comprise of succulent Amala prepared as e dey hot right there at the venue, ewedu & gbegiri, diced assorted meat and fresh ọwẹrẹ fish. Na after the Amala finish dem come dey request for jolof and fried rice, ọfàda rice and semo. Amala and abula don really get PR now o, it's not what it used to be before. It's literally the king of menu at parties now. |
raumdeuter:Like that is the first time I'm writing about the sorry state of things under this present administration. It may look like an inconsequential epistle to you (Like Femi Adesina reacted to all discerning voices pointing out Buhari's apparent failure while he was running the country aground), but people living the reality everyday know these things must be said in the hope of any possible positive change if at all. The same FG was busy spending taxpayers' money to deny the obvious senseless loss of lives that has become a regular occurrence under this administration. Even the help you claim they are seeking from the US government; the help was literally forced on them. Government appointees were busy mouthing nonsense denying the obvious. |
raumdeuter:Whatever makes you happy jare. You don't have a skin in the game, so I don't take anything coming from you in defense of Tinubu's glaring failure to heart. Those resident here who live the reality everyday know how disappointed they have been in the last 3 years in their hype job of a president. |
sleekdot:What's the correlation between Arsenal's results and pointing out Tinubu government's ineptitude? He say I wan dey stress Tinubu. smh People in Kogi and Kwara are literally abandoning their hometown because terrorists are overrunning their communities one after the other and you are here talking about stressing Tinubu. Na wa o. |
sleekdot:There was still ASUU strike in October 2025. It was even discussed here NELFUND is a loan that was designed because the same government increased the tution fees across higher institution. We are talking about making the live of common man better and not cuasing a problem and giving a solution that leaves the common man in debt after completion of their education. I won't even bother responding to anything regarding the coastal road that was awarded to a known thief who helped Abacha loot the country . The contract didn't even follow due process. How can anybody list that as making the life of common man better when we don't even know how much of our commonwealth has been stolen through the shady contract award? All the so-called points u listed are weak and stinking. Normally I no even supposed respond because they did not address any of the issues raised in my original post. |
afrodoc2:Je ne parle pas français, mon médecin |
GloriousGbola:Lmao 😂 You seem to be operating under the assumption that the list is exhaustive, trust me it's not. There's the emotional/psychological stress that comes with the worsen security situation o. People from some parts of Kwara and Kogi states are literally finding it impossible to visit their ancestral homes because of the untamed security challenge bearing it's fangs under this current administration despite the government focusing more attention on improving their revenue from the people's income. Talking about subsidy on electricity whether it's sustainable or not, what evidence do you have to counter some of us lived reality? I literally pay more for electricity now, yet I still have to buy fuel regularly to fuel my generator and recently had to buy a solar powered fan due to failure of whatever they may claim they are doing in the power sector. I know you have the urge to defend the current Tinubu's administration but trust me there's nothing for you to defend under close scrutiny. By the way, there's nowhere in my post that suggested I'm against the untaxed getting taxed going forward. Rather, I'm telling you that the already taxed population is being asked to pay 7.5% VAT on Mobile transfers and USSD transactions starting from January 2026. Pray tell, mention 3 ways the lives of the average common man has been improved for the better since Tinubu take over the reins of power 🤷♂️ |
Anytime I see a common man like myself that is resident in Nigeria and has lived the last 3 years under Tinubu's administration boasting and making promise to reward him with second term vote, I go just dey laugh in amusement. ![]() Like, since this guy became president you have been buying petrol at almost x4 of the price it used to be. You have been paying more for electricity even though the national grid collapses every eke market day. You have been spending majority of your income on transport and feeding with little or nothing left to save. You find it hard to pay hospital bills in a decent private hospital without having to seek financial assistance from friends and relatives due to high cost of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies the hospitals use. You are even being forced to pay VAT on mobile transfer and USSD transactions you do via your bank account in addition to existing Stamp duty charges. How do you go around telling anyone who cares to listen that the man responsible all of the aforementioned financial stress is the man you would want reelected for another 4 years? No be juju be that? Some would even boast about how he's a master strategist and legendary politician.... blah... blah.... blah... I mean you can hardly point out to three ways in which the man's 3 year rule has made any aspect of your life any better than he met it. But somehow you would rather troll others and call them names for not being unreasonable to believe the fable titled " Relax, Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria" We are indeed in amusing times in this country. Normally I dey "siddon look mode" as things dey go, but I can't but point out how ridiculous it is for a common man who is not a card carrying member of the ruling party to be advancing thought of seeing this government continue to be in power; considering how they have noting to show for benefit of the common man in spite of how much they are taking from us in form of taxes, levies and increment in cost of public goods & services. |
mostob:He's been playing Eze at 10 and he hasn't cover himself in glory at all. Remember the last match Saka played 10 and it was a good outing for the team. So u should understand why Saka was used as a 10 in this match considering we are even playing the lowest ranked team on the league table.. As regards taking Gyokeres off, if u noticed in the first half most of the balls that got to him were either drifting to the right or left and Gyokeres was struggling to dribble his way into the box. I believe the manager subbing him off for Jesus was because Jesus is actually a good dribbler who can move with the ball at his feet. Jesus even scored vs Wolves in the first leg after Gyokeres played rubbish in the same game. We didn't start the match with the intention of loading aerial balls to our front man, so playing Gyokeres for the full match may seem like putting ourselves at disadvantage as at the team that decision was being made. I honestly believe we were outdone by weak mentality in this match. The players were just too nervy and didn't get their acts together. All of the players we fielded today are capable of playing in a team that will drub Wolves as much as 4 unreplied goals, it was just the mentality with which they prosecute this match that is very stinking. |
Spy360:Yeah, the weak mentality is glaring going by how our players allowed Wolves run them ragged like they are a serious title contender and not some lpser team already condemned to relegation. I looked at this line up and substitution and it gave the picture of a round peg in a round hole which shows the coach obviously didn't underrate our opponents. It's just that winning mentality that is lacking. Of not, our players should not be sleeping on the floor at 2-1 trying to see off the game on a slim win when they should be gunning to score more goals to seal a comfortable win. They really need to do something about their mentality if not our season may go downhill from here. |
mostob:Honestly, the ref has no bleme in the outcome of the match. Na our players carry weak mentality play this match. Martinelli is getting bullied off the ball by Mosquera and he's playing rubbish. When we ought to be pushing attack up field, we are busy recycling ball in our own half. Nobody took the initiative of trying to play one or two long range shot against their keeper at all. Raya also decided today was the day he's going to undo all the good work he's been doing the past 3 seasons. Our players mentality in this game was just so weak. Maybe they need to see a psychologist sef I don't even know. |
Shegzdave:We actually scored two goals and threw away the two goals advantage. |
Funny thing is our players allowing useless players like Mosquera and Arokodare taking a shine off them. It's an eyesore! 🤮 Martinelli just dey bend head down for ground dey do rubbish all game. Only Rice and Hincapie put up a decent performance in this game. |
See stupid Eze again nítorí Ọlọ́run |
Raya just ruined everybody's effort in this match. Nonsense! |
This guy clearly wanted to injure Trossard. Na wa o |
Martinelli no get sense Sha! When he supposed dribble he won't dribble. Na when he supposed do one time pass he go dey form dribble |
Timber sef dey play rubbish inside this match. Na wa o. Is this burnout or what? Trossard that was brought on, no show at all. |
Is Martinelli mad? Which kind nonsense he dey play dey lose ball between two players when he's obviously not planning to use the ball for anything productive |
