Theflint1:This is exactly my issue with the whole matter. It seems there's an agenda no one wants to talk about behind the whole attack on Simi and her family. I mean the issue at hand should be about Simi being a feminist who was willing to believe Mirabel's story without entertaining any thought that she might be lieing. Yeah she messed up saying false accusation is not her concern while she was blowing hot and all..... But how did the matter now reach wanting her lose brand deals, destroy her marriage and more like she's the Mirabel that instituted the false rape allegations? |
DissTroy:I think it was TheFlint1 that mentioned it and I agree with him; the issue with this kinda matters is both sides the most extreme sides of the matter and refuse to allow for a middle ground. The feminists would paint anything that has to do with men as misogyny ; they believe every accusation against a man and would excuse any chance of giving a benefit of doubt. The red pillers in the other extreme would take every opportunity to run down women. They get triggered easily and assume all women are evil until proven otherwise. They take every opportunity to ruin any woman that falls under their radar and won't hesitate to rubbish any man that cares to tell them not all women are the same. I generally don't like to involve myself all these things because I say things from my own world view and not from whatever any group expects from me either based on my gender or orientation. On this simi Issue I think what they are doing to her currently is an overkill and doesn't make any sense any longer. I begin to wonder what tbey would've done sef if it was simi herself that fabricated the false rap.e story and not Mirabel. |
CrystalTiger:The first 3 line of Ur post and the next 3 lines are contradictory. But I think I understand u Sha |
CAPdan21:Yeah, I think they are mostly doing it for engagement..... That's why I said maybe when another trending matter comes up next week tbey Will rest. I also do not agree with her position on the whole fals rap.e matter, even before the story turned out false. But I just wrap my head around the amount of hate that can fuel the kind of tweets I've been reading against her. E come be like say she Don offend them before, they were only waiting for her to slip so they descend on her like they did. It's just like saying EFCC arraigns someone like Desmond Elliot and the youth come all out to unleash every armory in their arsenal against him because of his unpopular opinion about the youth in the past. |
CrystalTiger:So u are saying everything happening to her right now is justified right? Like all the bile and hate you see people posting about her, her husband and kids are well deserved. Shebi? |
Maybe it's just me Sha, but the whole hate being directed at Simi in the past couple of days is getting overboard Sha. Even the girl that cooked up the false rape story didn't get this much bile and hate hurled at her. It's now looking like a lot of people attacking Simi and her family have been patiently waiting for the day she would mess up and lash out at her with full force. Tell me why they are suddenly talking about DNA for her kids and all. Na wa o Hopefully when another scandalous story breaks next week or something else catches the fancy of her attackers she will get a breather from all this unjustified hate at her family. |
raumdeuter:Tag me to your own post where you praised Jonathan as an APC/ACN man or stop wasting my time giving me mention. I can do without Ur unnecessary mention this afternoon. Make I sip my Guinness stout in peace. No dey remind of the failed presidency Wey I dey unfortunate to be experiencing in real time. |
raumdeuter:If Tinubu was not president na Casamigos I for dey drink sef. Shior! |
raumdeuter:So Progressophobia is asking a government to be accountable? To think APC was always raising these issues while they were in the opposition. It's a shame! 🤮🤮🤮🤮 |
raumdeuter:Did u praise Jonathan for anything he did as a president? Why must I praise Tinubu when he's doing the basic expected of presidents? I'm sure you didn't praise Jonathan because you assumed most of the so called achievements he had were basic things every Nigerian expected of him. He didn't impress you to the extent you will make posts to start talking about the good things he has done. And to tell you that I'm not you, there's actually a post of me here on this very thread that acknowledge the whole NELFUND loan was a good thing considering Tinubu's government increased school fees and then provided means through which those school fees can be paid now and the students will reimbursed later. I bet you wouldn't see that one. I have posted at least 10 different ways Tinubu has made the life of the common man difficult since he came to power, but u will hinge Ur argument on roads only ; the same roads president's have been doing since 1999.... Abeg make I enjoy my Guinness stout in peace this Saturday afternoon jare. |
raumdeuter:Which useless progress when over 141 million Nigerians live below poverty line in 2026 according to PWC? There's no government that has ruled Nigeria since 1999 that didn't construct/rehabilitate roads, so what makes Tinubu special? Maybe because he awarded some road construction projects to his cronies ( who are of questionable character) without following due process. Continue to tell yourself what makes u happy. Not like I take anything u say about Tinubu's so called progress to heart Sha. Enjoy your weekend. |
raumdeuter:Do well to show me just one post from me dismissing Tinubu's administration constructing roads! Just show me one. I know u like to major in the minor and amplify inanities. Why do I need to make a post praising Tinubu for constructing roads? The same roads Jonathan constructed and you still find ways to point out so many failings of his government. But here you are wanting me to praise Tinubu for doing something as basic as constructing roads while other aspects of the common man's lives continue to suffer. I will continue to point out the failings of the current government and I will watch how u will try to make light of his failure in Ur attempt to make it seem like he's done anything out of the ordinary despite claiming to be fixing Nigeria. 🤮🤮🤮 |
Remember this clearly: It was Nasiru El-Rufa’i who stood at Chatham House and answered security questions on behalf of Bola Ahmed Tinubu. On that same day, at that same venue, Reno was outside protesting that Tinubu should not become president.Copied as Seen on Facebook. |
Akinlot:This is why I don't take most of what @Raumdeuter says in defence of Tinubu's administration serious at all. And that's why I keep maintaining that only people who are here with us who live the everyday reality can have my attention to argue what they believe Tinubu has done to make their lives better as a Nigerian who has no APC affiliation nor has access to government/politics money. My landlord increases house rent almost every year in a bid to catch up with the high cost of living that would pauperize him if he doesn't increase house rent, I buy fuel at x4 of what it was before tinubu got there almost every day, my nepa bill has increased significantly with no improvement in power supply, I even had to buy a solar fan recently to save cost of fueling generator overnight, cost of cooking gas has increased significantly, and someone comes online to tell me to "Relax, Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria". The same Nigeria lawmakers buy new cars every year. The same Nigeria Tinubu bought escalade owó iyebiye almost immediately he was sworn in, the same Nigeria Tinubu bought a new presidential jet, the same Nigeria tinubu spends billions gallivanting all over the globe, the same Nigeria Tinubu spends billions on his Healthcare abroad. Issokay! It's easy for someone not living the reality to say these things. But I Wan see person wey dey live the reality with us explain the rationale behind why I need relax. I Wan see person wey dey here with us wey dey go through wetin dey happen with us to tell me I'm wailing and writing epistles that do not reflect the current reality of things. |
Ballzproblemm:Last 2 weeks I wanted to change $1,250. I changed $1,200 @ N1,480 per dollar that very day. Fast forward to 2 days later, I decided to change the remaining $50 and aboki was quoting N1,430 per dollar. I sensed the dollar was crashing against the dollar and just had to sell before it falls further cos I needed the naira. I don't know what is behind the crash, but the way dollar is crashing against naira this is not the time to buy dollars with naira Sha. |
raumdeuter: ![]() So a manager at konga is not replaceable? Just dey play! Ur posts on this issue is a comic relief sha. |
raumdeuter:Well, she has made sure he never calls the number again. At least while he is busy looking for what to eat in joblessness, he would have no thoughts of her. |
afrodoc2: ![]() |
raumdeuter:Well, seems ur first client as a lawyer has been accused by Sarah Martins and wrongfully dismissed by his employers. Would you be kind to take up his case pro bono and make these arguments in his favor in court ? Tell the honorable judge how Bankers toast customers and how Barrack Obama toast Michelle Obama his work colleague. Let's see if the judge would agree with you and reinstate ur guy who hasn't done anything wrong. |
raumdeuter:His economic standing is not the problem. How he got access to her is the problem. Nobody would have had any issue with him if he got her number directly from her or her relatives absent of his employers' role in it. If he was a dispatch rider and just approached her randomly with the intention to toast her, she can always tell him no, maybe insult him or accept his proposal. But he chatted her via her number which his employers gave to him for the sole purpose of carrying out a delivery. It is only normal that he gets reported for stepping beyond his boundary and getting smoked for it. |
izzou:Even as a man, if u drop delivery for me and later chat me to be talking about ur personal challenges in a bid to seek financial help; I will feel somehow. I will certainly not feel comfortable that you think because of just calling me for delivery you no have access to me like that . |
izzou:He's just playing the devil's advocate. I hope the undiscerning minds will not read his post and see it as justification to cross the line like the dispatch rider did in their own line of work. |
DissTroy:For someone who is a dispatch rider who earns a little above minimum wage, it is an unreasonable risk not worth taking. He need not bet his means of livelihood on the chance of whether the women would be receptive of his love overtures or not. |
raumdeuter:It's like you are deliberately misunderstanding the issue here and I sincerely hope any young person would not take a mis step like the dispatch rider did by relying on your arguments here. Nobody is saying colleagues shouldn't date. Nobody says a banker should not date their customer. We are saying it is wrong for you to get a customer's number via your boss strictly for the sole aim of delivering a service to her only for you to exploit that to be chatting her later and professing love. Most employers will fire you or suspend you the moment you are reported by the customer. This is not about whether lowly placed members of the society ought not to toast members of the opposite sex wey "big " pass them. It's about abusing a privilege that gave u access to the lady. |
If you like make you fine pass Ramsey Noah, the moment you leave your duty to engage in "Frolick of your own" wey dem no send you and it embarrasses your employer to the extent their customer reports you ; trust me you will find yourself looking for job soon. |
afrodoc2:Abi now. Since he didn't commit any offence and was wrongly dismissed, let him repeat same on his new job and see how they will rub his head for being a smart sharp shooter wey sabi shoot him shots. |
raumdeuter:When he gets another job, let him go ahead to toast another customer of his employer's business. Let's see where it will lead him. |
iamoyindamola:Is this real or a skit? Seems like he's just rage-baiting her Sha. |
Listen to how jealous wife turned this man's life upside down
|
DeadPresidents:Yeah, a man will most likely enjoy the attention if a sales girl in a supermarket says she loves him and won't mind getting down with her. A lady on the other hand will most likely freak out seeing a dispatch rider professing love for her especially when the man already knows her house and has her phone number. She may assume she's in danger |
CrystalTiger:I don't think he has learnt his lessons going by the message he sent to her after he was sacked. He seems to believe he was wronged by her, more like she should've turned him down politely or accept his unsolicited affection with joy. The guy don too watch nollywood movies involving poor guys who end up with rich classy ladies |
GloriousGbola:Yeah, it sends a signal to her that the guy may actually turn out to be a stalker since she knows her house and has her phone number. The guy head no correct. |
