Igbos are not going into extinction. we will rather wax stronger and shine brighter. This may be among our dark days, but we will pass through. Ndoki is an Igbo clan. You Ijaws can dance all your owigiri, una go still fail yakata, because nature is already against you for your outright lies and falsification which will definitely backfire on your face. I the end, if they keep killing innocent Igbo civilians, i can just see this spilling over into reprisal killing of innocent Fulanis.

Those ruling Nigeria are intent on creating chaos and it is coming.
By then, how many souls would have died for nothing? Una dey think so? Just sit down and count the numbers of able youths we have lost
since this struggle started. It's not funny. Why is the Chief Commander not on ground to lead, but away and giving orders for our youths to be wasted.

One thing I hat about this so called organization is how they sit down and analyse issues, without thinking through the collateral damages.
How do you expect to defeat an army by attracting them to your home front in the first place? Who does that? Is this organization not run by morons?

Ijaw and every minority aren't scared of Igbo's, they just have a scar inflicted by igbos that is still painful, As a Rivers guy, I never saw my grandfather cos of Biafran war
Biafran war claimed more lives in Igboland hinterland than anywhere in East. War is tragic and should never be wished on anybody.

Most of your hate propaganda is far from reality. No evidence, but hear say. Asari Dokubo one time challenged any family to bring evidence against Igbos atrocity during the war. Has any shown face, none. You guys just hate Igbos for no reason.

The Nigerian police and army is biting more than they can chew. If they want to bring the war to our doorsteps then so be it.
One thing I discovered about you IPOB online warriors, is that most of you are based in oversea. This is the reason you type without recourse to reality. Kanu and his family is in London, while Igbos bears the brunt and heat of your rabbles.

I had a dream sometime ago, Nigerian Army was moving from street to street, and house to house, once your name is Chukwuma, or anything sounding Igbo, you are gone, as in them go shoot you. The entire internet was shut down, so no way to upload evidence nor communicate. I woke up from that terrible nightmare, and had to call my mum to tell her. One major reason I joined this forum.

I have been to Azubie, Okujagu and Okrika main Island. I was surprised to hear them speak Igbo. Okujagu and Azubie are bilingual in both Igbo and Okrika Ijaw. But Okrika main Island, including Ogu Bolo speaks the Okrika language. I also noticed that the older folks can easily converse with you in Igbo.
These are Ijaw enclaves. The reality is that both tribes have so missed that statistically, you will find the trace of Igbo in most Eastern Ijaw families. '
The hate is unnecessary. Not wanting to be part of Biafra is a different ball game. After all, there are so many Igbos that against Kanu Biafra. You don't hate on the larger Igbo community because of Biafra. That is extremism if properly defined.

1. Biriye is not from Finima
2. Even if he was, Finima is part of Grand Bonny kingdom
3. The Kalabari dialect is neither spoken in Finima or in any other part of Bonny. They speak Ibani, Ibani just like Kalabari or Okrika are Ijaw dialects spoken in Rivers state.
4. Biriye represented Ijaw people before Nigeria gained independence.
5. Biriye was a member of NCNC before he founded his own party because of Igbo bigotry and nepotism.
6.Before Biriye his father was already involved in Ijaw activism.
7. NDC was successful not only in Bonny but Okrika and many parts of present day Bayelsa.
8. NDC was coalition partner NPC, a party could form coalition at the centre was a success.
9. Before NDC Biriye was the co-founder of an Ijaw organisation that was older than the NCNC.
10. Biriye was already an international figure before Nigeria gained independence, Biriye wanted autonomous region for all Ijaws.

Igbo are the problem. You can't have problem with everybody and something is not wrong with you.
But you already have your region and state, so how is Igbo the problem? Or you mean the Igbo speaking groups in your so called south south?

Where have Ijaw people claimed Ogoni, Ikwerre, Ekpeye, Itsekiri or Edo to be Ijaw?

Ikwerre people trace their roots to present day Edo state. To the best of my knowledge it is only Igbos that are forcing an Igbo identity on the Ikwerre and several other groups.

The Ijaw don't make spurious claims like you Igbos. Based on existing documents and treaties the Igbo people would be homeless or pay rent to the Ijaw and her neighbours if people enforce such legal rights. The little opportunity Britain gave you Igbos is being abused today.

From Arogbo to Andoni, Ijaw culture is one. You Igbos have been mimicking our culture with limited success. Now you think the best way to go about it is to lay claims to some Ijaw clans.

Why are Igbos very desperate to be identified as Ijaw or with Ijaw even after we have rejected you on several occasions?

Instead of protecting your space from Fulani incursion your greed has not allowed you Igbos take eyes off Ijawland even if there is the risk of you Igbos becoming homeless refugees.

The man that marries a widow without finding out what killed her previous husband would suffer the same fate. You Igbos have learnt your lessons from attempts to steal our homelands between 1967 and 1970. Just like then, you will be crushed if you make any silly attempt.
Nna calm down. You speak with so much bitterness in your heart that one wonders how you manage to breath. Calm down biko

P/H Ijaw is not an Okrikan. I saw a post where he was disgraced from Wakrike Facebook group while trying to preach Igbo hate there. He goes by the name Alegi Olotu from the screenshots of that Facebook denounciation. And there are many of them like that.

He’s a Bayelsan INC mole that infilterates Okrika, Kalabari, Ibani Facebook group to spread Igbo hate. No Riversman will display the kind of frustration this guy has.
Hohoho, I was mistaken him for one Ogan, so he is the Alegi Olotu, the legendary Igbo hater'. There is another one from Ogbia, whom I wouldn't want to unveil here. Them plenty oh.

You can celebrate Boro, but he did not bring any end to tyranny. The Eastern Region was abolished by Gowon in 1967 and Rivers State was carved out. The war ended in 1970. 50 years on, can the Ijaw man claim to be free of oppression? An Igbo man has not been President for over 50 years, so who is oppressing who? The fact that we have had even more Ijaw militancy than during Adaka Boros time shows that Ijaws are no happier than when there was the Eastern Region
Your reply is drenched in wisdom. I know PHIJO on Facebook. His hate on Igbos is natural, please, you guys should desist from engaging him.

This is what disgusts me about most Nigerians. Complain about a governor, people will come hard on you to go and complain about your own State Governor.

When people from the East complain about a governor in the West, all hell will be let loosed. Same with when some one from the west points out something wrong in the East, everyone from that region would shout him down.

Then you keep thinking how we would grow as a nation. We should be objective and independent minded in our thinking.
Nigeria is still in her parochial stage, so it is wise to leave politics to the people it affects directly.

The Biafran army messed up by her cowardly act in the COR areas. Biafran sympathizers were left unprotected and allowed to be killed easily. It started from Bonny where the Navy shelled for days. During those shelling the Biafran jets or ship were missing in action. Bonny was left undefended to the surprise of the Nigerian army. It was in Bonny that the Nigerian military perfected their plans for other rebel held territories. Calabar fell next with the same shelling carried out in Bonny.

Bro you have to understand that the Biafran military was seriously handicapped and overstretched, most of the Biafran defence lines were breached by just heavy naval and air bombardments by the Federal troops because they knew we had no effective reponse to these attacks. The situation was even more dire in the COR sectors because we were not only seriously under-equipped in hardware to stem the tide of the Federal advance, the Biafran command in those minority areas also had to deal with hampering acts of sabotage from the hostile minority people who were morbidly and inexplicably more afraid of "Igbo domination" than the uncertain possibilities of a Nigerian army massacre as was proven to be the case. Biafra simply had no air and naval defence system aside from scraps of old Nigerian transportation vessels, boats, crafts, and converted tugs that were all fitted with 6 pounder guns or machine guns to face the more sophisticated armada of Nigerian war ships with heavier artillery guns, effective radar systems, submarines etc all supported by heavy air bombardments on poorly defended Biafran positions defended by men armed with bolt action rifles and no anti-aircraft guns.
Is it not the same scenario IPOB is trying to play again? Engaging Nigeria with stolen weapons from fallen police and army.
Buhari, who doesn't hide his disdain for Igbos, is the least person IPOB should attract his soldiers into Igboland.
That guy in London need to think twice.

Kenneth Ikonne. I believe that you are a lawyer. If Biafra stands, there would be treaties and protocols to that disengagement either through war or by negotiations. One or two of those treaties shall deal with the Biafran access to the sea. If not settled by treaty, it would be by conflict. Every Treaty contains secret protocols which deals with those things not openly spelt out in the main Treaty. For example, the South South may opt out of Biafra. But there shall be a clause for access to the sea by either a canal cut from Bonny up to Oguta or Azumini which must have the international guarantees of the UN, EC. AU and the Commonwealth with the canal being an international waterway open to all nations for the purposes of trade and commerce. Any threat to it shall receive international retaliatory response. OR, a guarantee of shipping rights at Onne or Port Harcourt within 10 years at which time Biafra would have cut its canal. Repudiation of these would attract Biafran military reaction which could be a "Crimea" or "Gibraltar." And earn international recognition and acceptance.

Other protocols in separate treaties shall deal with migration and immigration to and fro both sides, the Igbo properties in Abuja, Lagos and other cities including Port Harcourt (if they remained in Nigeria).

Disengagement by will or by force always have Treaties and protocols attending to them. It is so in Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and the USSR. That is why the Russian nuclear submarine fleet is still in Crimea. (It spurred the annexation). Russian strategic nuclear arsenals are very much in the eastern part of Ukraine and the Russian space programmes, laboratories and launch pads are in the Khazastan. Why did Russia invade Georgia in the past. Georgia attempted to breach the protocols on the Russian strategic missile emplacements.

In summary, my position is, there would be treaties and protocols following the Biafran disengagement by referendum or by warfare, whichever one that takes precedence.

*My response to Barr Ikonne on his comment to Dr Egbujo's post today*
