Politics / Re: Igbos Should Not Join The June 12 Protest by blues234: 4:46am On Jun 08, 2021

I'm an Igbo man, with dread for Buhari, Nigeria and the military. Buhari does not hide his disdain for my people, Nigerians can do anything to spit my people, for example electing Buhari, and then, the military, who glees in killing my people. That one has about 3 million of my people on her casualty lists, and they are ever willing to repeat it.
Where I come from, we have this Aron settlement, that is called Nzerem. It means avoidance, in my local parlance. There is a reason my ancestors respect the old clever tortoise a lot. He is not the fastest among animals, nor the strongest, but his witty nature and ability to avoid his enemies, naturally keeps him safe, and he outlives the strongest and fastest animal. Ever wonder why the tortoise can live up to a hundred years?
If the Igbo must survive in a toxic system as Nigeria, then we have to adopt the Nzerem method. We must mind our business.
Our cities and enclaves must not be used for the protest. We must avoid trouble by all means.

Coming from someone that brought in the dictator Buhari in 2015, after his disastrous reign in the 80s.

Who told him UGM is ESN? Some of these so called professors amaze me with their jaundiced analytical skills, making me wonder how they managed to get their professorships

Does now call for the killing of security agents, because Buhari is president? Why not wait until he finishes his tenure, and then vote in your candidate of choice. I thought we Igbos are democrats by culture?
Politics / Igbos Should Not Join The June 12 Protest by blues234: 8:38pm On Jun 07, 2021
Nigerian government seems to have declared war on her citizens with her recent stands on national issue. However, that is normal, as every government will do it's best to protect her interest and sovereignty.
However, my concern is about the upcoming protest by 12 of June 2021. Igbos, both in the East and else where should be wise enough to keep off from the protest. The reason is simple, it is very easy to scapegoat Igbos and make the protest Igbos vs Federal Government, or Igbo against others.
This is not just an assumption, but realities judging from past events, especially the very recent End Sars protest. The Nigerian security forces find joy in spilling Igbo bloods. As a concern Igbo man, I will advice my brothers to keep off from such protest, and also not allow any of our cities to be used for such protest.
From the military operation in the west, to genocide in the east... historical factst.
From End Sars Protest to Obigbo Massacre and recent military operation in the East.
We should be wise not to repeat history.

you see the moment Buhari gets those 12 super tuscano warplanes and the other military hardware from USA, all gloves will be off.
The Herdsmen have left the region, Nnamdi kanu should stop attacking security formations- don't you guys see what happened in tiagray (Ethiopia)?
Using the excuse that they attacked a military formation, the Ethiopian national army invaded the region burnt, raped and killed thousands. Of course, the Ethiopian federal government blocked telecommunication across tigray ,blocked access to foreign media and up till now, the world doesn't know and don't care about what happened in Tiagray.

The recent statement from both the federal government and Northern cabal that every igbo man is involved in the recent happenings should serve as a warning.
IPOB operates on a blocked ear. They will not listen, until when everything burst. Kanu that is boasting of facing off FG don't even possess one bit the capacity to wage a consistent campaign for one full year, meanwhile FG can run the show for ten years. The North East is an example.
I recently saw a Video by Tony Nnadi, and I knew that guys is doing everything on purpose to put Igbo lives on the line, to attract global sympathy, which is very stupid by the way.
Time our political elites speak up before its too late.

Brother, I have made it a duty to pray against their plans. Besides other activities, so this their evil plans don't come true.
Kanu should chill, until Buhari leaves, then may be we may have someone that can be reasonable enough to listen to him
and may be conduct a referendum. The state of things now calls for caution and diplomacy.

my own is that they should just take it easy with their biafran pursuit maybe for now.
If they are wise, they will listen, but the supreme commander has a lot of them under his spells.
I don't know why they can't borrow a leaf from the Scots who are working on leaving British Union.
No insults, no threats to life, no bashing etc. They and their political class are working harmoniously
to achieve their referendum. Why can't the Biafran agitators learn from these guys?

I had a dream two months ago, Nigerian army was moving from house to house, if your name is chukwuma, chukwudi or anything Igbo, you will be shot down. The whole thing was so real. I ran into an uncompleted building to call my family, only to realize that the entire network was shut down, nothing was working, no internet access, no means of communication. I woke up from that dream panting. I had to call home to relate the dream to my mum. From recent events, I'm scared of what may be coming in the future. There could be a secret plan for genocide, but may God fail them in their plans. Amen.
Besides, my dream usually come true, except when a girls loves me in the dream, because that will turn out negative, as she will hate me in real life. cheesy

This is one reason I left the girl I would have been married to, by now, long ago. Very aggressive woman. Small thing, she don release slap, small thing fight. Thank God I freed myself from such toxic relationship. some people are just too aggressive by nature.

Your president was not BANNED, his account was SUSPENDED for just 12 hours, meaning he can't post for just 12 hours.

Thats intended to just be a warning. In retaliation, he BANNED Twitter for the entire country. Does that make any sense? How does his personal issue with Twitter have to become a national issue?

Do you know how many businesses will be affected? Even the Nigerian police get crime tips from the public through Twitter. A tolerant leader will first look at the values service offers and weighs it with its harms.

Nnamdi Kanu is not the president of a country. If he's tweets garnered as much flagging as Buhari's tweets, he would have gotten his account suspended too for 12 hours. Does that mean he will suddenly order Biafrans to set Twitter office in Ghana on fire? A leader must learn to be tolerant and consider his citizens first.
I was all most with Buhari on this band, but this your posts gives a balanced view to the whole issue. Buhari really goofed on this Twitter ban.
I can imagine the number of business that rely on Twitter for sales and ads that will be affected.

[s]Hey,
I understand your grievance and you make good points but look a little closer, there is indeed a strategy. Cows and herdsmen were a platform to grow the ESN. The Nigerian army is not nearly as powerful as you imagine it to be and the ESN is an army of volunteers. Anonymity is an asset. Surprise is an asset. Those warplanes that terrify you so much, will they not eventually land(probably somewhere in the SE)? Not as if Nigeria has so many of them to begin with(26 last I checked). Even an eagle must eventually set foot to earth at some point. It is then that the attacks will come. When they are most vulnerable. So you see, the Nigerian army is just as handicapped as IPOB, perhaps even more so. Probably the reason why they have not yet won[/s].
Total bunkum. All these crap you wrote is far from realities

He has put his threats to action. Military operation against the east is in full gear.

The idiot is in London and sending our young men to their early grave. Kanu has no military background and does not understand military strategies. He is just an opportune radio broadcaster. If not, which kind of military strategy will attract a large swat of an army into a location that is small in landmass, and enclosed with no strategic exit or entry point? And to crown it, that same area is heavily populated with your own people. Even the most stupid general will not attract the presence of an army in his homeland.
The bunch of his minions knows nothing other than be shouting director our director up and down.

Nnamdi Kanu, since his advent has brought nothing but sorrow tears and blood to Igboland. I just touched the East yesterday, and I can tell you majority of our people are agaisnt what Kanu and his boys are doing here. But you an dare talk, else they label you sabo and eliminate you. The recent burning down of a Doctor's house in Ohanfia lay credence to this reality.
We don't want IPOB in Igboland, neither Nigerian Army. Both of them represents two extreams of death.
Seems to be the worst time to be Igbo. A repeat of Gowon and Ojukwu

Wait o! I heard that the DULLARD is planning to Massacre Igbos.

The DULLARD should bring it on!

I dare the Fulani jihadists to start another civil war and let's see if they don't bleed.

We will march to Sokoto in 14 days.

When we say 2021 is not 1967. What we meant is ONE: the Fulanis nolonger enjoys the support of middlebelt and many other minority tribes in the North. TWO: The Igbos are nolonger limited to Eastern Nigeria.

The massive overseas presence of Igbos means that nothing like shortages of food and arms again.

I REPEAT, WE WILL MARCH TO SOKOTO IN 14 DAYS!

LET THEM START AM ALREADY, TALK IS CHEAP.. ANOTHER GOLAN HEIGHT AND PALESTINE WILL HAPPEN IN WEST AFRICA. THEY WILL BEG TO HAVE THEIR LANDS BACK. NONSENSE!

NO ONE HAS THE MONOPOLY OF VIOLENCE!
This is not necessary on this thread. Keep your plans to yourself. Besides, Buhari controls the military, how do you beat that. We need Nigerian support for the blood thirsty tyrant to back off from his evil genocidal plan.

Biafra would never be realized,

Nnamdi Kanu wants to give us an El dorado called Biafra land, but he is not carrying Igbos along.

IGBOS are speaking in discordant tune, most people stayed at home to avoid violence, not because they wanted to willingly obey.

We must learn to organize ourselves first, before we can get what we want.

Ipob were busy flogging drivers for not complying, such level of stupidity. convince people well enough and they will willingly give their lives for you.

So this is a glimpse of what our Biafra would look like, a government of the Tyrant where the Igbos would wish to go back to Egypt.

Nnamdi Kanu is a tyrant. Absolute power corrupts and that of Kanu is already very obvious. His minions online are the worst, as some can even go to the extent of assassinating you for speaking against their method of operation. Na problem IPOB be for us in the east.
