Why must she be cooking for you everytime? Why don't you also cook for her? Does she not also deserve to be attended to? Is she your partner in the marraige or your housemaid?

What the f*uck is wrong some st*upid Nigerian men?!! Are we in 1815 or 2015? When are you I*diots gonna discard this pathetic and inhumane tradition of treating women like slaves and second-class humans?! Most Nigerian men are so primitive they behave like clinically insane animals that lost their way to their jungle.

If you're not ready to cook for your woman the same way she cooks for you, then you've no f*ucking business being in a relationship! You should go hug a f*ucking tree, a*ssholes!
The same way women insult their husbands when they can't provide in time or are experiencing financial crunch. Must he provide all the time. So we are all a*ssholes. This makes you clinically sick too when you expect your man to buy you nails

Kids should not be allowed to get married. . . Wtf is this nonsense? Who then is supposed to be the bigger person and initiate problem solving?

What a load of crap!

Yes kids should not be aloud. A wife should learn to stop being uneccessarilly silly and making herself centre of attention. Also they should learn that talking is different from communication. You can communicate without talking but you can talk and not communicate thereby causing confusion.

In a religious discussion, after all the back and forth, the best answers always come from yourself to yourself, and there are too many examples of this in the Bible. But nowadays, most people want to be spoon-fed smiley

Cheers mate
Is that how you partake in sunday school or house fellowship? You quoted a verse bolded some text and left the real text addressing the situation which makes you inconclusive. You were asked a simple question and you are forming heady, na wa o. Is that how you spread the word.

The real question should be whether something is edifying or not. i.e. does it provide any instruction of positive benefit?

Remember that some secular songs are edifying. E.g. a country's National Anthem, fostering hope, unity, love, peace and togetherness.

In this case, I'll leave you to ask yourself, "Does it pass the Phil 4:8 litmus test?"

Phil 4:8
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.
Now what does this song sound like, curse or praise

Good day everyone,

Please I and my colleague disagreed over Korede Bello's song "Na Godwin". He said it is a worldly song and does not praise God/Christ but I said no that the expression of the song is obviously appreciating God for his kindness and mercies. We did not agree, hence why I need your view. See the Lyrics and let me hear your opinion if t is indeed worldly or not

Earlier before this, I always blame Adebayor for neglecting his family most especially his mother but I never realise I was partial and bias, I 've never heard his own side of the story before I concluded my mind in judging.

We Africans are wicked, callous, greedy and barbaric. All because God has lift him, he should become an Automated Teller Machine for the whole family.

He should pay them monthly wages?
OMG, for doing what? For sitting down in Togo and watching him play come the hot summer and the cold winter? May be for getting him a club? huh

Imagine, he allows his sister to live in a house worth $1.2 million and the wretched bitch rent it out and was even insulted by the sister, so also his mother. He work for his money, why can't they work for theirs.

Hmmm...... Every man facing the storm of his own life all alone. He has the money and everything but his family wants to steal his happiness. Life is really unfair!!!
Point of Correction. Africans are not wicked, Emmanuel Adebayor's family are wicked. Please do not generalise and put Africa in a bad light. Where you told that there are no bad family(s) in Asia, Europe, North and South America or Australia

Its actually ungrateful of you not to atleast thank her. You think its easy to cook? I'm sure you're not used to that too. You should thank her for every single thing she does for you, to show a sign of appreciation! Plus, she may be your wife but that doesn't make her your slave.
Do not make an unnessary case for the guy. Does she also thank him for everything he does for her. Is he a slave. Must we always create some unnecessary scenarios just to make someone look pitied?
Does she thank him always for changing the bulbs. Putting the car in good condition, seeing to other hardware repairs at home...
I begi, so if he does not say thank you makes the wife a slave. Rubbish.
In as much as its a courtesy, some wife will even tell you, why thanking me when I am fullfilling my part of the deal.

@ killerbeauty, u are making good points too. UK and USA tailor their curriculum to their own needs... Agreed. But are you sure we actually know our own needs or have our reasons? Not sure here. You can spend 4-years in the USA, OK. But it's hard to keep up with that same 4 years in Nigeria, not to mention the level of exposure and advancement.

I think that Jack of all trade is very valid o. I did a 5-year course. I got *exposed* into my department in 300 level. Flexibility is good. GNS, GSE, et al are relevant. Doing All courses for more than a year or every year in the name of flexibility is what is not relevant.

Thanks for your contribution smiley
Jack of all trade is invalid. Only your first year takes you across the board from second year, you start yo have your cores and optionals which could be either directly related or cutting across again.
What I would say is that our institution faculties still leave in the stone age, no practicals, no real work expetience even in a simulative form.
Our faculty team carried out no realistic research that could turn round the nations beating positively.

I must also say that graduates of most world class universities do not also get to practice what they've learnt

How does it makes sense to destroy. Been strategic and innovative in protesting matters a lot. Are you yourself advancing? If yes you won't say that destructive act makes sense. There are several ways. Dwellers of the so called south-south are blind folded to their future. Have they demanded to know what their own state governors, state and fed reps, senators, Lg chairs and councillors have been doing with allocations?

I'm not surprised at all. When you have bunch of coconut heads in a country, this is what happenes. We are hoping that Nigeria develops infrastructurally across the board and some maggots are busy destroying it in the name of protest. Shrewed thinking individuals. Rather for them to sit down and use strategic means they are busy been destructive to build. I wonder when the building will commence when destruction is ongoing. This is simply a product of laziness and greed. In fact there should be death penalty for anyone caught destroying government property in the name of protest. If that is how the developed countries of today behaved. Will they be where they are. You claim to be protesting for development but instead you are destroying.
I'm feeling disgusted.

So who else has passed this stage 3 and with what score?

N.B: I submitted my own CV. I didn't pay for theirs. Just chipping this in to check if there is any correlation between paying for the CV and passing the stage. Do endeavor to indicate so.
I was disqualified as well, that I scored 55% and I also submitted my own Cv. I think something is fishy
Education › Re: Top 10 Universities To Study Engineering In Nigeria by Bluffly: 1:14am On Apr 15, 2015
abdulwastecx:
there are universities in Nigeria.... the truth of the matter is that instructors and student are too lazy to put in the extra work required.
Nigeria schools are comparable to those in of India or Pakistan in terms of infrastructure and equipment but we have too many politically appointed professors and lecturers and too many lazy students in our higher institutions
The instructors make up the university. A student is lazy because the instructors made them so. If you are a natural lazy student and you go to the UK to study, it is either you buckle up or you leave, Why? because instructors are not lazy. No up and doing instructor, no University because the quality of the instructors makes up what we call the "FACULTY PROFILE" which motivates focused students to apply for an admission in the said institution. so when I say there are no universities, I know what I am saying.
