Of course Peter Obi is right, the problem is that PMB has no solution nor seem to have a solution to it. You can’t tell us that because he’s not the cause of the problem we shouldn’t look for solutions and we should remain stuck in his directionless economic policies!!! |
Show me a copy of these allegations which you or anyone you know has sent to EFCC or any law enforcement agency? I’m also curious to know why you didn’t attempt clear all these first when these same resources were deployed for the election of PMB aka Mr Integrity? Have you also cleared the appointees of PMB of all the corruption allegations which is in the public domain? I’ll rather go for corruption+competence rather than incompetence+corruption. Because the only thing that differentiates Atiku and PMB is incompetence, corruption is a common factor for both of them, so? OOA1979: |
You forgot to add that he’s the owner of the ikoyi millions, also add the Air Nigeria fraud, also the CBN fraud where some set of people are buying forex at lower rates, also in addition the billions of dollars unaccounted for in NNPC for which Kemi Adeosun was blackmailed for. There are many other stuff you forgot to add. Please dig harder |
As was expected, every effort will be made to dig up something, anything against Peter Obi, and the PMB loyalists didn’t disappoint. Lmao!! And it wasn’t even done intelligently. All this smear campaign won’t work, why don’t you convince on with intelligent reasons why we should continue with PMB? |
Bro, you are missing the plot here. The US has never said he’s wanted? Nor have they made any request at any point in time for his extradition, come on, he’s been a private citizen for like 8years now. The issue here is they have refused to give him a visa to enter their country. Do you even remember that this same Atiku provided resources for PMB’s campaign when both were in APC? What I’m saying is, why don’t the APC supporters or their representatives online focus more on PMB’s achievements these past 3 years instead of expending energy on a smear campaign of Atiku? MalcoImX: |
No, that's not the logic. My statement is in response to Op digging up documents about Atiku and I am pointing out to him that, digging out these documents and information will not deter people from opting for an Atiku presidency, because, the general populace are disillusioned about PMB's government and see Atiku as a new vista that they are willing to try. And that information like these were dug up regarding Trump by US media similar to this but still the larger American population still went ahead to vote for Trump. And this is a US that votes based issues and ideologies. It would be better to propagate the positives of PMB's administration instead of this smear campaign on Atiku, it wont work. That's my logic MalcoImX: |
Op, Trump scammed the American state of more than $40m through systemised tax evasion and a lot of underhand deals, yet he was elected the US President. Buhari has simply failed majority of Nigerians, even if u dig up pictures of Atiku stealing rice when he was a customs officer it won’t matter. Regardless of how many ibos are contesting, the general view is that the fight is between APC and PDP. Nigerians have not matured enough to vote along ideological lines so why don’t you save your strength and data. Between Atiku and PMB majority have chosen Atiku, it’s simple. People are tired, people are hungry, people feel disillusioned with PMB’s style of government, it will be a hard sell trying to ask them for more patience, PMB promised a lot and instead delivered far far less. The Atiku option is a kind of light in the tunnel. |
First of all, Obj didn’t have a hand in Atiku’s emergence as PDP presidential flag bearer. If he had his way, he would have thwarted it. Now the reality is he didn’t have a choice than try to mend fences with Atiku in order to remain relevant in the political sphere as PMB and Tinubu have rendered him irrelevant. He needs Atiku more than Atiku needs him. His contrived 3rd force collapsed due to in fighting, this has left him with no other option than to swallow his words, literally. He can’t help but Atikulate, Lol!!!! |
In a world where everything is going mobile? I think this is dead on arrival. Why don’t they incorporate it into their Facebook and WhatsApp apps? No one wants to be carrying an extra device just to make a video. Most videos are made on the go and instantaneous, and most phones can do exactly what this device does. It would have been better if Facebook puts in resources towards giving us better video compression technologies, this will make watching videos less data consuming, that’s a better value adding service |
Ehen, where’s the ‘Mr Integrity’ team. How will they defend this one. Someone said because PMB is an economic illiterate that’s why his close aides and ministers can scam him easily. Let’s see if they’ll blame GEJ or Atiku for this, Lmao!!! |
OMG!!! Laff wan tear my belle!! Guy u funny no be small!!! Shebi instead dem go tell us why we should vote PMB they are busy tryin to smear Atiku, all these smear tactics no go work jare, Nigerians want a change and they have been given an alternative SarkinYarki: |
That’s the point, PMB gave a lot of us hope but all that has been dashed. We expected something different, but what do we get, high handedness, nepotism, directionless economy.Nigerians are tired really. alezzy13: |
My brother, I don’t agree with you on the points raised. The Fulani killings predate PMB, true. But the killings became more amplified under his regime due to his inaction. For a man of integrity is it too much to ask for PMB to bring the perpetrators to book regardless of how highly placed they are. I mean people are killed right in their homes, killers take over a community for days and no military response, nothing but mere rhetorics after the act and no one has been arrested or sponsors revealed or prosecuted. We all can remember that the SGF was relieved of his job after a frenzy of condemnation from anti-corruption groups. Was he ever prosecuted? I would think that someone who flaunts Integrity would have had the SGF behind bars by now, Maina nko? Any prosecution even after overwhelming evidence. PMB has nothing to do with Innoson, that is between GTB and Innoson, what about is Chief of staff, Daura and all that has been linked to him, he still has his job. See I had hope in PMB but he messed up big time. If not for anything I would have expected the IG and the minister for interior to lose their jobs after the carnage in Jos and Benue. Do you see the vigor with which the army is searching for killers of the army general in plateau state? Why can’t this same energy by channelled into getting the sponsors of these killings? PMB disappointed a lot of people and that’s why today a person like Atiku has a chance. rusher14: |
Trump with all the negative baggage ever known in this world got elected by Americans, terming Atiku a wheeler dealer won’t sway us to choose Buhari. How do people keep on calling Buhari Mr Integrity, with all the scams that have been unearthed in his administration, from SGF to Maina to an ineffectual and partisan EFCC, please where’s the integrity? What irks me about PMB is his lack of direction in his economic policies and seemingly helplessness towards the Fulani killings in different parts of the country. We rather try a new hand than continue with a government that has no plan to better the standard of living of the average Nigerians. Atiku might have his shortcomings so does PMB also. |
Don’t mind him, that’s how people propagate lies and term it truth. Okorocha was elected on APGA platform and decamped to APC. How did he build APC? By installing his family members and trying to foist his son-in law as governor? Out of all the technocrats in Owerri and other illustrious men in Imo state, it’s only Uche Nwosu that is fit to be a governor. Anyway, I trust my Imo people, it will never happen. HIGHESTPOPORI: |
This issue of Atiku visiting US as a sort of validation for voting for him is just nonsense. When has visiting US become a yardstick for improving Nigeria’s economy. Like if one visits US you automatically have some super powers to rescue Nigeria from the darkness we have found ourselves in. There was a time Chinese leaders were the most vilified due to their human rights records, but what is the story today? All politicians have one short coming or the other, but what Nigerians are essentially saying is rather than continue with a lack luster performance as characterized by the PMB administration, we rather take our chances with an Atiku presidency with the hope that he will bring his sound business acumen to turn around the Nigerian economic situation. If PMB has done even a quarter of his campaign promises, I don’t think anyone would have contemplated replacing him with Atiku. Nigerians are in despair and everything looks bleak as long as PMB is in power and they wouldn’t mind trying something new. All this talk of US visit doesn’t mean jack to the majority now. Get Atikulated!!!! |
It’s possible the camera went thru there.....kai this is hilarious ![]() |
Why are they protesting in Abuja? Were the elections held in Abuja? Isn’t there a court of law already handling this case? What’s all this eye Service for? Why didn’t they do this kind of mobilization in Osun during and after the elections? Bunch of hypocrites!!! How I wish there was an accidental discharge on Dino so that he will really have something to talk about. I’m not in support of APC but the law clearly states that if any party is not satisfied with the conduct of an election, there’s a tribunal to handle such issues. We have had elections overturned by the tribunals successfully, so why take to the streets to protest if not to whip up negative public sentiments against the police and government! |
The tragedy in all this APC and PDP nonsense going on is that the expected 3rd force have not been to take advantage of the chaos to present a credible candidate who'll be capable of winning PMB at next year's polls. For a moment I had hope that Oby Ezekwwsili's Red Card Movement would give us something to hope for..........a breathe of new life but those hopes are dashed unfortunately. |
Its hard to believe this. A lot of Nigerians and Nigerian companies ship tonnes of crude oil and refined petroleum products to Ghana by sea? I think it will be better to say, there's no Nigerian company interested to ship coal to Ghana. |
Omo the kind of news flying up and down, no one knows what to believe anymore. But if this is true, then it’s the wisest decision Ambode has taken so far. |
Exactly!! Once a certain level of comfort is achieved the average Nigerian wouldn’t want to come out in the sun and fight to vote. They rather sit behind their laptops and phones and rant. We still have a long way to go Acidosis: |
These are the people who vote and went through the process of obtaining party cards. They are not concerned with online or twitter polls! This is the reality ekems2017: |
In the context of Nigerian politics, it’s more of a mafia thing. You know why? Elections in third world countries like Nigeria require a lot of money. The logistics alone is daunting, it’s not for the faint hearted. Imagine using 2b naira to contest for a governorship post. These are monies you spend on delegates, posters, creating awareness, and other sundry expenses. Now let’s say you don’t have the money and a money bag aka godfather decides to give you this money, are you saying you will not be loyal to him? See,politics in Nigeria is not simple mathematics, where 1+1 will give you 2, there are so many factors to be considered, certainly not for the faint hearted. You cannot be a ‘registered’ member of a party and after you win an election, you decide to take unilateral actions, it doesn’t always work out like that, unless you have the money plus a solid political structure. If Ambode was wise he could have gone abegging to the groups that matter in APC. You cannot be in APC and still be fighting APC. I really liked the guy though but he wasn’t wise. Guestlander: |
At least you got my point at bolded, Lol Bluezy13: |
Nairaland is a PUBLIC forum where everyone can freely express their views and opinions. First off, you came at me with a statement insinuating I made my suggestion for philandering purposes, which to me is an assumption, of which I clearly took offense at and I further went to explain why I made and expressed such view and opinion. You are neither the owner of this thread nor the owner of Nairaland. Secondly I don’t see where I sounded vulgar, not after you insinuated I wanted to philander. Now if you have been on this forum long enough (not that this is of any concern to me) you would understand that the PM feature is not very effective as to when you want to reach someone in real time....though i don’t expect a dimwit like u to get it. Some PM’s get filtered into spam folders, some never come. Now having a live feature does not in any way take away the anonymous nature of the forum, it makes it more interactive, more robust. This is an upgrade,an improvement, you don’t necessarily have to agree with it, but like I said it wasn’t directed at you for your approval, so you could ignore but you chose not to, that’s your cup of tea. And I also don’t need your consent or otherwise to remain on this forum and there’s nothing you can do about it, sadly!! Bluezy13: |
I made the comment from my head,Lol!! Didn’t know it was a quote from anywhere. What does non sequiturs aphorism mean though. ![]() Charly68: |
Errhmm, so live chatting is for philandering? Make me understand please? Do you know how many threads in the business section, technology section, health section, that people would wish to live chat with the Op?I think you are the one who needs to broaden your mind, I can see it’s quite narrow Bluezy13: |
I agree with you. In addition, Nairaland should have a chat feature, just like FB, where you can live chat with someone once you are logged in!! When will Seun upgrade nah!! |
Na only for oyibo land this tin fit happen. Try am for naija, the kain eye village people go dey look una ehhhhn!! ![]() |
And you think Davido would be eager to join you PDP campaign? Nonsense!! He only partook in the Osun campaigns cos of his uncle. So after choosing a weak candidate to go against PMB, you will now use Davido’s name to get votes? Lol |
