Nonsense! If Nigerians are truly watching closely, someone like Saraki would have been lynched a long time ago. In short, PDP and APC would have been long dead.

Can you see how roguish we can be as a nation, how can a Legal practitioner in his right senses equate a 1yr Mandatory NYSC to an elective national position. Later we start shouting Allah Akbar, In Jesus name, Allah Akbar, HalleluyaH deceiving each other up and down. Whereas so many youths sufferd to pass through school because of their future & still suffering with no food on the table whereas these law breakers keeps ruling & foisting their stooges in high offices and sabotaging the future. Later we shout "na God they bless". May thunder fire you all!
Come to think of it, this NYSC is even a product of lawless soldiers who had no regards for fundamental human rights.

If we were a serious people, why haven't we reviewed the obsolete laws of the scheme?

Well, I am not surprised. Even the production of our constitution was supervised by soldiers.

Thunder fire your left yansh there!!!

This matter is simple. The man has served his country and that should cover up for NYSC.

If servicemen can be exempted, why not political appointees? Shey service no be service? After all, NYSC service and political service are both services to Nigeria.

Shame.
In which films did she interpret her roles well?

I have gone back to check many of the old films and saw how terrible many of the actors back then were. With the exceptions of a few like Bimbo Akintola, the rest were overhyped people who would have been better off as traders at Idumota.

There was a certain Liz Benson film I watched sometime last year and I was like so Liz Benson was such a terrible actor.

Oga, you do not follow boxing more than me.

Whyte is number 1 in the WBC. Wilder should fight him and stop ducking. Whyte has earned his shot.

Both fighters want the fight. I do not think anyone is scared. The problem is money.

Wilder has been offered 12 million and then 15 million for the fight. This is 6 times higher than he earns normally but he rejected it. AJ is the one drawing the cash not Wilder. Wilder can not fill a stadium in the US.

Wilder is not realistic with his money demands.
What is your prediction for tomorrow?

The odds don't favor Povetkin. Somehow, I see AJ winning by KO.

This was what Whyte said concerning the AJ/Wilder potential clash:

"I was No 1 but none of that was relevant, basically Deontay Wilder just kept on avoiding me, and then now he thought he had the fight and then Joshua went the other way."

If you are a heavyweight who has a belt like Wilder, you will understand why he would rather fight Fury than Whyte.

Ortiz and Stiverne are Wilder's only top 10 opponents after 40 fights. The man has been fighting stiffs.Ortiz was never AJ's Mandatory.

Wilder was getting outboxed and countered before and after the knockdown in round 5. The referee saved his butt in round 8 by giving him more time to recover after Ortiz had him in trouble.

Joshua's opponent are certainly better than Wilder.

Whyte and Breazeale are currently number 1 and 2 in the WBC but Wilder ducked them to fight an out of shape Fury who had drug and alcohol problems and was terribly out of shape for over 2 years.

Joshua already beat both men.
Yes, Whyte and Breazeale are now highly ranked. But how highly regarded were they when they met AJ?

The fact that AJ beat them then does not mean he will beat them now and still does not mean that Wilder will not be able to beat them.

The word I highlighted in your post is significant.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=12018013
It was all a mind game.

My point is that we make a lot of excuses for these guys.

Should Povetkin beat AJ tomorrow, excuses will start coming in from Hearn and his team.

I will say it again, in my opinion, AJ is not scared, but his promoter is.

Aside the brawling Whyte, every other person AJ has fought were rather passive. Wladmir was too defensive and Parker too concerned with fighting right. Wilder is the man who would give AJ some tough time because he doesn't let you come to him, he goes to meet you. No one has been able to do that to AJ, aside Whyte and aside Klischko, it is still only Whyte that had ever hurt AJ in the ring.

Tomorrow, it would be another tough fight for AJ. If he handles Povetkin well, I will give him serious chance against Wilder. Until then, he hasn't convinced me much.

Parker's surgery made him 100% fit. The surgery result was released to scare AJ.
He was not 100% fit as he was barely recuperating. He was however 100% fit against Whyte.

tbaba1234:
Klitschko was absent for 18 months due to failed rematches against Fury. He was always in the gym and was in phenomenal shape on the night against Joshua. He produced one of his best fights in a decade even in defeat.

Parker's surgery was a good thing. He was 100% when he faced Joshua.

Compare that to Fury, who was out for 2 years, blew up in weight. Had drugs, alcohol and depression problems. He has fought 2 nobodies and is far from his best shape. That is the man Wilder wants to fight. Meanwhile, Whyte and Breazeale are number 1 and 2 in the WBC.

Wilder has run away from big fights. He ducked klitschko when they were both champs. Lou debella said Wilder was not ready for Klitschko when he was WBC champ.

Wilder reject two of his highest ever paydays to fight Joshua. No one is afraid. It is all about money.
Bro, you have not been following boxing at all.

Why did Hearn arrange Whyte for Wilder if he really wanted Wilder's belt? In my opinion, I think AJ should be more interested in fighting Wilder than Wilder should be. AJ has the three significant belts and needs Wilder's belt to make history. He is already a unified champion, yet Hearn threw Whyte in Wilder's face.

Like I said earlier, I don't suppose AJ is afraid of Wilder. He has said he would fight anybody they put in front of him. But Hearn is clearly scared of Wilder.

You are still making excuses. You make excuses for AJ but don't want to allow excuses for Wilder.

Just so you know, Wilder had even at a time cut his pay potentials just to fight AJ but the deal still dragged until AJ was mandated to fight Povetkin.

Well, the Klitschko brothers were very good. Very exceptional but you must admit (except you are just a boxing casual) that HEAVYWEIGHT boxing dipped during their era... No standout star that could touch them. But look back before then, when the likes of Lennox Lewis, Evander Hollyfield, Bowes, etc.. do you know that Lewis actually destroyed the better of the Klitschko's (Vitali) was the UNDISPUTED champion (I hope you know what the means). Lewis couldn't get any viable challenger, he retired as the undisputed champion, that when the Klitschko brothers resurfaced, when Lewis retired after beating them and there was no competition.
However, today, HW boxing is back, this is the happiness amongst boxing affectionadoes, it's not still at the level of the mid 80s to the late 90 after all these great boxers were old and in decline, but there are many exciting talents now and the future is even more mouth watering, especially the British boxers.
I am not just an ardent lover of boxing but someone who has boxed before, albeit as an amateur. My father is also a boxing lover. We love the sport very much.

With that said, we must understand that boxing (like every sport) appears to lose quality over time in the sense that the boxers of the 80s seemed better than the boxers of this time. There was a time when the heavyweight category had fearless fighters like Ali, Foreman Frazier and then the young Tyson came along and then my favorite boxer of all time, Lennox Lewis. Can you compare today's fighters to any of those fighters I listed earlier?

So, we should not begrudge the Klischko brothers' their hard work. They were very good boxers and would still have survived if they came in the days of Tyson or earlier. They would only have needed to train harder to match the top contenders of those days. It is not like Ali boxed harder than them or that Ali was more defensive.

Vitali burst into the boxing scene when he fought Lennox Lewis and I remember very vividly how Vitali boxed. Lewis won only because he had managed to cut Vitali in the eye. People clamored for a rematch because they were sure that Vitali was capable of beating Lewis. The rematch never happened because Lewis retired and till today, people still think that it was Vitali that retired Lewis.

There were no top black boxers because the Klischko brothers dominated. Stop making excuses!!!

If I went by your logic, then I should also say that blacks dominated boxing at a time when there were not top white boxers like Gerrie Coetzee, Quarry and Morrison and even the Klischko brothers.
