SlavaUkraini: There is corruption in Ghana and America but there is constant Power supply in those countries.
Corruption is not an excuse. Corruption is sin and man would forever be sinful.
In the midst of corruption, Nations are enjoying constant power supply.
I understand that the devolution of power bill would soon be signed into law. That would be a game changer.
Each State should Generate and Distribute their own Electricity. Then the citizens of each State would kick out any Politician that cannot generate the needed electricity where the funds are readily available.
The reliance on Abuja to provide electricity for the 36 states have been a colossal mistake. It did work for Obasanjo, Jonathan, Buhari.
So a new approach is needed to solve this issue. Power must be given to states to generate and distribute their own Electricity.
Texas does not wait for the White House to generate electricity for her citizens.
Volta region does not wait for Jubilee House in Accra to generate electricity for her citizens.
Lagos, Sokoto , Enugu and Delta State should not wait for Aso Rock to provide electricity for them. That is a failed concept. Ok.. This is a good point |
Career › Re: My Job Is Ruining My Family by BluntCrazeMan: 4:33am On Jul 05, 2022 |
elimsun: Good day great people of nairaland. I'll make this as short as possible and forgive my typo errors. I've been working in this construction firm for the past five years together with taking care of my family and my girlfriend who has been in school but due to ASUU strike, now at home. I'm usually busy and spend less time at home except on weekends - Sundays. Recently, my girlfriend has been talking me into changing the nature of my work to another job that will afford me the opportunity to give more time to my family and her. I insisted that I'll need more time to be able to find another job but she will not have it that way. Seems to spoke to my mother about it and it's now hell in the home with my mother threatening she will kill herself if I don't quit the job. This job is something I have used in completing my house and paying the fees of my girlfriend. Lest I forget, I got the hint that my manager is considering me for a promotion and my quitting the job might just spell doom on me!
I'll appreciate all your suggestions, advice and criticism. I'm really in a fix! This kind of girlfriend will abandon you after she graduates |

SlavaUkraini: And your more points should include Constant Power Supply if not your article is not correct...
Infact Uninterrupted power supply should be number one on your list of things that must be put back in order.
More than 4 million Nigerians in Ghana are refusing to come back home because Naija is in darkness.... This is a fact
Cost of living is more expensive in Ghana but because of constant light,
Guymen say dem nor dey come Naija until Light dey stable. Are you aware that the problem of Power in Nigeria is Not “that the resources to use in generating the power is lacking”,, but is actually as a result of corruption by those who left what they are supposed to do and be doing another thing.?? So, if corruption is cured, the power will be constant. Corruption in Nigeria is killing a lot of things. |

Collegemind: just fix power once and for all..focusing on any other issue will never write his name in gold plus other issues are mostly unrealistic to solve in 8 years except power Do you know that it is the corruption in Nigeria that is affecting the generation and distribution of power in Nigeria?? (And Not that the resources to generate and distribute the power is lacking). Thus, if the foundational cause of a problem is treated and cured, the symptoms would disappear. |

KosiGee: A gynaecologist called Ernst Grafenberg was the first to describe the very sensitive area or the particular spot.
The G is from Grafenberg,..just as Circle of Willis was named after Dr. Thomas Willis who was first to describe the arterial connection/link in the brain.
I think G spot sounds better than Grafenberg’s spot.

jmoore: I watched Newsline on NTA yesterday. This man has four wives and 19 children. The family is poor and the kids beg on the streets.
1. There should be a law banning poor men from marrying more than 1 wife.
2. Another law that makes it a criminal offence for a poor man to have more than 2 kids. So... Define POOR MAN. |
