There were other six judges on seat.

It was INEC mistake that made Uzodimma governor.
Do we have to go through this again?
So, who made TANKO And the Six Other Judges the Collation Officers??
If INEC made a mistake, does it now mean that the job of INEC now belongs to the Supreme Court Judges??
Even if the mistakes were properly and adequately established at the court by the petitioner, but then the new supposed values were NOT also established and proven to be very correct in the court right in front of everyone, and such newly established values accepted by INEC, Is it now the work of the Supreme Court Judges to go back to their Chambers and start the Re-collation process by themselves, even without the notice of the INEC?? And the Judges even went ahead to announce their Supreme Court Results which INEC was not even aware of. Is that supposed to be the right judgement?
..
Is the best judgement not supposed to be “A Recount of the Votes” or “A Re-collation”??

I remember we have always had reservations about how this man became CJN but he’s ending up to do all the things other CJN who have been properly nominated never did.

At least he’s beginning to make Judges understand they are not some super humans that are infallible and unquestionable.

Corruption in the Executive might be tolerated.

Corruption in the Legislature can be managed.

But corruption in the Judiciary should never been imagined but it is there.

I don't know why I never seem to understand what's special about first love.

Everyday people talk about how first love is impossible to forget but I don't get it. Is there any love that you can forget? Can you forget the love you had with you 6th, 7th or Nth Love?

The first girl I dated was when I was in secondary school and even my teachers knew about her because I was good in class so she was like "the celebrity girlfriend".

But she's not even the girl that broke my heart the most even though she was the one that ended the relationship.

The one that broke my heart was even during my NYSC. She discovered I was a player and decided to end everything and never looked back. I did everything to win her back, I changed, started behaving well but na, she was adamant. I had over 10 girlfriends after her but she's still the one that hurts me the most

I believe the deepest heartbreak mustn't come from first love. It can come from any love and I think this " first love" issue is overrated.
It is mostly the ladies that usually talk about this first love of a thing.
And when they talk about the “Forget”, they are not talking about the hurting. They are actually still in love deep inside. And they can even cheat inside their marriage with the so-called first-love, all that it requires is just for the first-love to come around and show sings of love again and let her have some flashbacks of those days of first experiences.

Family › Re: Is There Such A Thing As Forgive And Forget? by BluntCrazeMan: 2:40pm On Sep 11, 2021
binarymachine:
“Okay, back up a second, I can do forgiveness but you see forgetting? Uh uh I can’t. You see I come from a long line of historians, we keep track of people who have done us wrong, so I am definitely not going to do that. People do not actually change, they say they do but they don’t, you have to shine your eyes, watch out for the next time they are going to do the same thing, so you toss them off and move on”.

Wait- that’s a whole lot of work, to watch out for someone’s mistakes. Well let’s move on.
Now, What Does It Actually Mean To Forgive?
Well, from the English Dictionary It means;

a) To absolve somebody completely for a past or wrong doing;
b) to pardon with neither resentment nor a view to retribution.

Now To Forget means to overlook, pass over, disremember.

Look at the second definition of Forgive carefully, it says to pardon “without resentment”. How would you forgive someone and then still have that chip on your shoulder. Wait, What? What kind of chip? Well it’s the one you have as a constant reminder that somehow, somewhere that person you just forgave will repeat the same thing or even worse do something more terrible to you. So you tell the person you have forgiven him/her and you convince yourself that you have, but deep within, you sure know you’re holding back.

Robert Brault said- “If you can’t forgive and forget, pick one”. I would beg to disagree because you see,
If you pick forgiving and decide not to forget, often times you may find yourself stuck. How so? When you forgive an individual for wronging you, you give yourself the opportunity to move on,to grow. If the person is your friend, you know he/she won’t deliberately hurt you and even if they do, it would be a mistake, and they would immediately apologise.

Now, the growth process will make this person (friend or not) to be a better individual if he chooses to. But most importantly you will be a better person and you will feel good, better you would feel great.
Look at it this way? How would you feel if you lashed out on your friend in anger. She is hurt and you apologise quickly, you didn’t mean to hurt her, but for your “quick tongue”. She says she has forgiven you and now you have the past behind you and both move on. Seems the friendship is progressing until six months later, you lashed out on her again, this time not deliberately.

The therapist you’ve been visiting for the past months said you breathe in and breathe out for at least five seconds before saying anything when angry. It has been working but today you slipped, this one time, so you apologise. She is enraged, she looks you in the face and says you’ll never change, that you’d keep doing the same thing over and over again, to make matters worse, she goes down memory lane to recount each of your past misdoings. Yes I know how you would feel. Your shoulders are slumped, you’re sorry and hurt.

You realize now, she didn’t actually forgive you, she just told you she did but she didn’t in the real sense of the word. The progress you were trying to make to be a better person now looks like a mirage. You feel terrible. Then you may decide to break off the relationship to stay true to yourself and be with someone who would help your growth process. Or worse, you may decide to believe that you aren’t going to be a better individual, that you will never change and pretty soon it will take a toll on you.
On the other hand, to truly forget a wrong, you have to go through a process of healing, which will make it easy for you to move on.

After all, Confucius said-” To be wronged is nothing, unless you continue to remember it”. This can’t really happen without you forgiving the person who hurt you and forgiving yourself. You forgive yourself for letting this person into your life, and letting him/her hurt you that way.

Now don’t take this the wrong way, forgiving and forgetting a person’s wrong shouldn’t make you to constantly allow toxicity in your life or allow people who constantly bring you down to remain. Sometimes if it’s a friendship, forgetting may mean to shut the door completely and never look back, never allow such a fellow into your life again. It helps your sanity.

In forgiving and forgetting, you get to be wiser, stronger and very powerful- you are in control of your emotions. You know the people to avoid in the future and you know the people to let in, you know the steps to take when wrong and you know how to let go and move on. I’ll conclude with this quote by Mahatma Gandhi, “The weak can never forgive, forgiveness is an attribute of the strong.”

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: 11 Financial Steps You Should Take Before Age 40 by BluntCrazeMan: 2:37pm On Sep 11, 2021
Vipro:
Life is believed to begin at age 40. Before you turn 40, you should have reached some financial milestones in life to make your years as enjoyable as possible.

I share your financial steps you need to take before you turn 40. If you have reached the age of 40, you can still begin to achieve these financial goals, because I think it is never too late to achieve something in life. if you have the commitment and courage.

The list below shows my personal recommendations. You have the choice to make them disappear or not. Still, I think your over-40s would be better if you reached those milestones before you were 40.

1. Pay off debt: Debt can be a major setback in your journey to financial security, especially compound interest debt. You must do everything in your power to pay off all of our debts from those with the highest interest rates.

Your goal should be to lead a debt-free life. Pay off your debt and make sure you don't take it back. You have more peace when you have no debts. Business loans are an exception. However, you should consider other ways to raise capital for your business before considering a business loan.

2. Build marketable skills: If you can do what others can’t do, they’re willing to pay for it. What skills do you have that other people would be willing to pay for? If you don’t have the skills yet, go learn it today. This is very important!

Try to learn a skill that is not common. If everyone can do it, the value will not be high. If you learn or develop a rare skill that you can do almost perfectly and that has a good demand, you can’t go bankrupt because your skills will always give you income.

Some good skills you can learn are graphic design, tablet publishing, hairdressing, catering and decorating, tailoring, vehicle mechanic, generator, computer repair and networking, computer programming, web design, welding and manufacturing, copywriting, nursing , carpentry, tiling, mosaic, application development, POP roof installation, electrical work and many more.

Most of these skills are not taught in colleges and universities, but they can feed you. Therefore, even if you are a graduate, you can learn the skills of someone who has one or in a skill development center. It aims to have at least a good marketable skill before the age of 40.

3. Develop a search for financial education: information is dynamic. New information comes out every day. What you know yesterday may be out of date. Therefore, you should always be alert to new information. You need to make an effort to update your financial knowledge.

Before you turn 40, you need to develop your reading skills. Reading is one of the greatest ways to gain knowledge. You need to learn regularly and quickly. Read good books and research online. For information, you need to learn how to use search engines like Google, Bing, AOL.com, Ask.com, and more.

Get a financial mentor: You need to follow someone who has done what you want them to do to prevent mistakes from being communicated by others and speed up your financial progress.

One way to follow a mentor is to read all of their books or articles.

5. Have an emergency fund -

The need to always have an emergency fund cannot be stressed. An emergency fund is money that goes to your bank account for serious emergencies such as job losses, illness, accidents, disability, and so on. Experts recommend that your monthly living cost be as an emergency fund for at least 6 months.

This money should have good liquidity, but it's best not to keep it in a savings account where you have access to it and for depreciation. You can save the emergency fund to a mutual fund account.

6. Start your own part-time or full-time business - if you’re not starting a business before the age of 40, when will you start it? When do you grow old? Business is a risk and the older you get, the less appetite and risk aversion.

Try starting a business before you turn 40. You can do this part time if you are employed. This will help you learn from your mistakes, grow, and gain experience. Business mistakes and failures get better when you are younger than at age.

7. Get married and have all your children: You have a more balanced view of married life with children. You may not agree with me, but I know that's true.

Married people almost jump into action without thinking. As a married person, think things through various perspectives and think before you move.

Think about the consequences of your actions, as it will affect your family in some way. You think about the couple and also make more balanced decisions, including business decisions, because two good bosses are better than one.

Having your children under the age of 40 also has several benefits, as it helps you grow with your children and helps carry the financial burden of raising your children while you are still young.

8. Build a solid base of passive income streams from paper assets. Paper assets are one of the greatest ways rich people make money almost effortlessly! Warren Buffett is one of the richest men on earth because of his paper assets. Imagine you have invested N50 000 000 in a mutual fund with a low annual interest rate of 10%. This means that it would earn approximately N5,000,000 annually and N 4,16,666 monthly. If you continue to invest interest and capital, you will increase even more in the coming years. Therefore, the rich are getting richer because they use the power compound to use the paper resources.

Before the age of 40, this is the best time to buy a lot of paper assets. Invest in stocks, treasury bills, bonds, mutual funds and other paper assets. He is interested in a wide range of paper resources.

9. Investing in real estate: Investing in real estate is one of the best investments you can ever make because it is always appreciated in value over time. In addition to food, rental housing costs are one of the biggest expenses for the family.

Before you turn 40, it would be good to build your house. See here how you can build your low-income home. In the worst case, even if you haven’t built a house, try to buy land before you’re 40 years old.

10. You have your own farm: Have you thought about how people without farmers would survive? You can say, ‘I don’t have to be a farmer, because I can always buy the food I need’. Let me ask you: What if you have money to buy food and there is no food to buy because there are no farmers?

Even if you don’t want to grow full time, try a backyard garden where they plant vegetables. This will help you appreciate the wonderful work that farmers do.

Investing in agriculture can also be a good way to build wealth. There is always a market available for agricultural products. I have written several articles on agro-industry and how you can benefit from it.

11. Start giving to others: You can get as much wealth and wealth as you can, but if you can’t find a way to help others, you won’t know what the accomplishment is. The true measure of life does not lie in how much you have, but in how much you give.

Start allocating a portion of your monthly income to help others, especially the needy, children, and the elderly. You can take responsibility for sponsoring a disadvantaged child through school. You can adopt a child. You can meet the needs of disadvantaged children and the elderly on a monthly basis.

I can really do this without the stress of writing articles and maintaining this blog as I don’t get a reasonable financial benefit from it. My joy, though, is that this blog is helping thousands of people overcome poverty and remain financially stable.

Start handing out people now. You don’t have to be very rich to help others. Give what little you have because it opens more doors of resources. There are many people around you who need your help and help. You can deliver cash or to babies in need, disabled and motherless at home. You can sponsor a poor child through school. There are inexhaustible ways to give to others.

Bonus Tips:

1. Write a will. Many financial experts recommend getting a lawyer to help you make a will that legally grants ownership of your properties to everyone you want when you go ahead. This is especially important in conflicting families.

2. Buy an insurance policy: Several financial experts also advise you to buy life insurance. The goal is to give your loved ones a financial advantage if you go further.

There you have it. It is not good for anyone to collect information unless it is used. The choice is yours.

It now means that when the thumb-printing fails, the face-biometric would be used.
And when both of them fails, then the person should go home and sleep.

INEC should remember to also upload the RA/Wards Collated Results-Sheets, and the Final Collated Results-Sheets too.

One of the things that INEC should add to their list of Post-Election activities after releasing the results of any of their elections, is to also release the Election Analysis for the elections.

In the 2015 General Elections, the INEC released the analysis of the Presidential Election, but they did not release similar analyses for the State Governorship Elections and the States House of Assemblies Elections.
Also, INEC is yet to release the analysis of the 2019 General Elections..
..
According to the INEC’s 2015 Presidential Election Analysis as released on the INEC’s Official website, the total accreditation (Electronic Accreditation of course) for the 2015 Presidential Election was 23,643,479; which represents the sum of the Full-Biometric Authenticated Voters (10,266,139) and the Card-Only Voters who did not pass the Full-Biometric Authentication (13,377,340).

Meanwhile, according to the INEC’s Officially Announced Result of the 2015 Presidential Election, the total votes cast was 29,432,083.
(This represents a total number of 5,788,604 voters higher than the electronically accredited voters).
The total number of accredited voters in the 2015 Presidential Election (as officially announced) was 31,746,490. This shows that 8,103,011 voters underwent manual-only accreditation without any form of Electronic Accreditation.
