blackpanda: Smh
PDP is a very useless party. No single truth in their mouth. They started this cross carpeting business, but no claiming innocent. This judgment will obviously be overturned on appeal and that corrupt judge will face justice. Yes they started the cross carpeting but no one deemed it fit to challenge it in the courts |

blackpanda: The judgment is perverse. That's why there is appeal. The law does not prevent governor's from moving to any party of their choice, only law makers. Are you saying that the 17 lawmakers who defected to the APC have lost their seats |

SmartPolician: Northerners vote for APC because of Buhari. So, any governor who leaves the APC in the north has automatically kissed his reelection bid goodbye. That man is veryyyyyyyy influential. If you are talking about 2015 & 2019 then you are right but now the dynamics have changed. In 2023, Buhari will not be on the Ballot |

tophumble: We can win Ekiti election without Fayose ~ Bisi Kolowole
The flagbearer of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State Hon Bisi Kolowole have reacted to the withdrawal of his campaign vehicles and the removal of his campaign banners from Fayose's office.
Hon Kolawole said he respects Fayose and will not want to join issues with him as Fayose is his benefactor, but he expressed disappointment in the action credited to Dr Ayo Fayose. He said what led to the removal of his campaign banners was not his fault as he was not the one who rejected the nomination of Fayose's choice for the Deputy Governorship slot but Ekiti PDP stakeholders.
Speaking further, Hon Kolawole said he has made frantic efforts to reach Mr Fayose since the ugly incidence to no avail, he said he is sure that through the help of God and the support of the people, he can win the June 18 Governorship election with or without the support of Dr Ayo Fayose. No source If there is no source, this should be heading to the trash can |

BKayy: I like this. Now the acclaimed Igbo leaders should do their worst I.
One thing I have noticed about most Nigerian politicians, especially those from Igboland, Minorities and Yoruba land is that most of them didn't pass through leadership training unlike the North that is mainly descendants of Aristocrats.
So they (Igbo politicians) don't know that the little attention all parties (PDP and APC) paid to them was because of actions from MNK/IPOB's side? That was their base of negotiations but they don't know This is why the North no matter what can never hand you over their paramilitary organisation A.k.A ISWAP.
The Igbo leaders due to the fact that they don't understand the game, helped the North to take care of IPOB, then made a grave mistake which is turning themselves against the same IPOB leaving themselves naked. When Ijaw make political demands, what back it up if Niger Delta militants. When the North do, we have ISWAP, Bandits and Boko Haram as the action card. The West Before used to have OPC. But the East.... Is filled with tactless individuals. Don't be so quick bro Abiola was alleged to have made the infamous statement "I can do without the Igbos" We all know how it ended |

But what about the present, as “Mr Integrity” returns to London, in one of the jets he swore to sell or send into Nigeria Airways, to continue to squander on himself the scarce public funds he swore he would preserve? Is he smiling in pleasure, idly picking his teeth in front of the television, or is he in conceivably embarrassed?

drlateef: Lagos is most unliveable is a lie. There are many outlets for propaganda all over the world. Ask them the criteria used in arriving at their statistics, you will be shocked at the level of bias. Lagos is the 5th biggest economy in Africa and more structures are springing up everyday. It’s a tiny land mass and problems of slums and litters etc will definitely arise. Despite the problems of developing world in Lagos, it still towers above other states in Nigeria. If someone did the blue print for development and it’s being followed, that person is better than all past and present Nigeria leaders who have no blueprint for development of Nigeria. Tinubu grew the IGR for over 109% at a time when Obasanjo deprived Lagos of federal money. Tell me of any politician who has done that in Nigeria. Enough of this bad blood, wailing will never stop, but you must be made to see reason somehow. If that same outlet had described Lagos State as the second most livable cities in the world, would you have asked for the criteria. Describing something as a lie and propaganda because it doesn't suit our narrative is not ideal There is no bad blood. The truth remains that Tinubu has done nothing exceptional in Lagos State, he is simply a greedy politician who doesn't have the interest of the masses |
