So , getting a Shooting stars Jersey and going to the stadium doesn't improve the league.

The league IMO should be scrapped .

There was a thread some days ago...one dude was asking pastors to talk on behalf of Nigerians because there was suffering in the land while he seats in the comfort of his own room.

Who exactly are you expecting to develop the Nigerian league? God abi or Angels?
Which one came first in Europe? People went to watch the local league or the league improved before they went to watch?

During the beginning of last season in Ibadan...the VIP ticket for a game was N500, people will pay and not find seats because people who came in with complementary (free) tickets had taken all the choice spots.

Then we started complaining...and guess what during the mid season break, the management of 3sc numbered all the seats in the VIP section of the stadium...when you buy a ticket, the number on it automatically becomes your seat number...

You wouldn't even need to ask any to standup from your seat...just call the stewards and the dude on your seat will be asked to leave. The VIP section came to live and the management started making some money no matter how small.

In the last election some people said...there was no good candidate hence they didn't vote...guess what they are enjoying part of the suffering now...maybe their votes could have upturned the results...

We need to participate in Nigeria for things to get better.....the only things most Nigerians are good at is complaints...no action or at best we say cancel it....delete it....remove it...

Gimme a break , maybe we should start from stopping our players from plying their trade else where , IMO this league should be scrapped

I have only one question for you...when was the last time you saw a local league game?

I support shooting stars of Ibadan...i have their jersey...I watch their games live in the stadium...thousands other fans do too every week...

I doubt if you know that dstv transmitts 3 games live every week....do you even know that some clubs play their games under flood lights now...

If there's been anything that has improved in Nigeria in the last 3 years...it's the Nigerian professional league.

Lame excuse , Our league is no where near the English league

And how will it get there when folks like you who don't event no the road to the stadium not to talk of the names of the clubs make noise about little issues within the league.

How did the EPL become what it is today? Wasn't it because of the support it got locally from average citizens?

Wait there till Chadians or Cameroonians begin to support our league for you.

Thats why i don't support our local league cry

Stop speaking out of ignorance...

Worse than this happened to the last premier league game between Manchester united and west ham...or you didn't see the issues between the English and Russian fans during the Euro cup?

I didnt see you say you would stop supporting them.

Edit:
This is bad and the perpetrators should be brought to book.

Car Talk / Re: Why The Placing Of A 4-yr Expiry Date For tyres is wrong by bodejohn(m): 5:03pm On Jul 22, 2016
LivingBetter:

sorry about your lost. however, you should have done an extensive research on why you had the tyre burst. pictures of the damaged tyre during investigation would be of help to determine cause of the tyre failure. most instances of your experience is as a result of OVER-INFLATION of tyre I.e wrong tyre pressure. Tyre are marked with the maximum pressure in PSI or Kpa. In Nigeria, vulcanizers believes that the bigger the tyre the more the pressure, so they inflate a tyre to 40psi that has a maximum pressure of 35psi. when such car is driven on high speed(especially on hot surface road) , the pressure in the tyre increases and what you get is burst.
there are other factors such as overloading of vehicle and bad roads that can also cause tyre burst.
As some rightly said above, manufacturers of tyres said only thread depth is used to confirm tyre expiry, hence they only mark DoM on tyres.
I know Nigerians are not Daft's; some day somebody would contest this tyre expiry with FRSC in court. God bless Nigeria

Thanks...

The top ply on the Tyre got removed more reason why i suspected that it was an expiry issue.
I have followed Tyre pressure recommendations on the tyres for quite a while although it's still a bit difficult to know if the pressure gauge are calibrated.

The yorubas have an adage that says...if you had ever witnessed the destruction caused by thunder...you will not abuse it's god.

One of the tyres of my Honda Crv blew out on the 3rd main land bridge this year...the tyre that did the damage was only some months past the four years....

I lost the car and I was just lucky we didn't trip over into the lagoon. I will rather stick with the four year usefull life for tyres and be safe than argue it and remain at risk.

If FRSC is unable to prove that my tyres are expired after four years...how am I able to prove that they haven't?

OP, that's a misleading title. At best you should say Fidelity's naira cards are disabled.

I'm presently in Germany with GT bank's naira MasterCard. I have been paying for train tickets, hotel and at restaurants at an average of about 390 naira to the Euro.

I even made a 200Euro withdrawal on Sunday morning.

Very correct. It shows the power from the panel that's in use

I didn't say your controller is misfiring but rather that the values are inaccurate. Power output shouldn't be more than the input

Uploading your log does not change the fundamental thing stated above: log figures is inaccurate so long as output power is greater than input Power.

I'm done on this. No more response from me cos it's obvious that we'll only be going back and forth without any success nor agreement.

I am also not interested in the long dialogue since you or any other person has not uploaded another log to proof that the one I uploaded is incorrect or inaccurate.

You also obviously overlooked the part of the log where the output becomes less than the input. I suppose the controller chooses when to work accurately and when not to.

mank1234:

If you're saying that what u see at the input of the controller is not what comes from the panel, it therefore means that the reading at the controller is wrong, which is shouldn't be the case. I maintain that cc does not add to the power from the panel, it only ensure that the panel operates at a voltage/current combination that will guarantee maximum power and in so doing it uses little energy from the panel itself.

The reading at the controller is not wrong, just as the reading of about 200 or 300 watts shown by the CC on absorption is not wrong until you kick in a power load and the production jumps to about 500watts or more as the case maybe. The work of your controller is to optimize the power delivery to your batteries.

Ok...assuming my controller is misfiring....how do you explain the later part of the day on the log when power output falls below the power input? Are you saying the controller corrects itself in the afternoon only to misfire the following morning?

I will log one of the controllers again tomorrow and will upload for you to analyse. If you have a similar controller I will encourage you to log yours and share the file.
