@ maternal....I will advise you quickly remove the first two sentences in your reply... You won't be able to handle it when nairaland folks jump on your matter... Even the guy who talked about a cover letter was bombarded with mails... |
Dear OP, I will like to ask you... Will Nigeria be bound to buy everything and anything from China even when we what you use our own money? Like if we ask them to supply us stoves and they tell us it 3 naira...will we not be able to use our own carry go buy from where it is 2 naira or 1 naira? The mistake some of us made in the last administration is panning out again...we erroneously think that once the government in power fails we are good since we don't share the same ideas with then. We need to begin to see the failure of governments at all levels as the failure of all Nigerians both living and the yet unborn. We must therefore support when they do what is right and criticise constructively when they err. |
See machine!!! |
Too little...but we all need to wake up to the stack reality that Nigeria is broke! |
Excellent question... I have wondered about this too myself... And to make it worse, there are countless brands in the market... My guide...check the manufactured date and then find some documentations about the tires from the manufacturer's website. If you have any doubt...just don't buy. Some people say....stay away from made in China tires....not very sure of what that means... I hope this makes the front page. |
Just imagine.... Your landlord has evicted you from his house...throwing all your stuffs to the open...will you even stay in same place for 2 days asking passersby how to move on? Come on....you either look for another accommodation or somewhere to Scott!!! |
Sharp update....we were even still in your shop at the time of the update.... |
ebiboy2:Did you bother to read the news piece above? Just asking.... |
Bass450:Wetin una no go tie prayers to in this country? While I am not doubting the efficacy and importance of prayers but did the person who got a response in just two weeks apply for the same purpose with the one of 80 days? |
I finally took the deep dive... Submited a TRV application on March 8th and biometrics on the 10th. I went the online route and I'm glad I can keep my passport while they take their time to consider the application. And incase they don't want to see my face again for Toronto, there will be no sudden heartbeat searching for the visa on my passport. The count down has just started.... |
Why is Nnamdi Kanu not of that list? |
Sometimes...I just wonder what the Nigerian man or woman want... A while ago...a popular leader said stealing was not corruption and the whole hell was let loose...and now another is fighting corruption like his life depends on it....but some people say witch-hunt... For once...can the Nigeria please take a position? |
Please check the source of that online advert, I am very sure it is pure scam. There is presently no vacancy for either interns or full time employees in ibadan and agbara plants of P&G. The only official online recruitment portal for P&G is www.experiencepg.com. Kindly disregard any online adverts....they are scams, please be guided. I know all these because I work with P&G. |

kkokoma:Good and congratulations... |
The church is not a gathering of saints and angels and Jesus Christ did not come to save the righteous but the lost and sinners. If we take this stance against people who have slipped, we are only condemning those who Christ himself had shed his blood for. When pastors err...we say don't judge but when members err they are disgraced publicly like you have discribed. I strongly belief that each one should face the concequescies of their actions but punishment should be melted out with mercy. |
kkokoma:LOL, na citizenship permit you applied for? |
It's just amazing how just one person will sit in a corner of his room and decide what happens to the whole country like he feeds us all or gave us our breath. How can this talk cross the mind of any sane person? Buhari is less than 10 months gone in a four year term and here is someone already dreaming of a second term. I see in Nigeria's politics relevancy is everything. |
I just love her... Apple watch. |
You are female and you are dating a married woman...God saved you that Buhari is on vacation...but still your 14yrs will soon begin... |
There is...buy their decoder and subscribe. |
The tragedy I see in this is that, this OP might one day aspire for an elective position... |
A good piece from Dr Okupe. I think the parties in the dispute got judgment but not justice because the perprators of the violence and election manipulation have always escaped unpunished. I see the judgement of the Supreme Court as a commonsense solution to the already bad situation in the affected states. I can only imagine the waste of human and material resources that the states and the country would have the subjected to in the event that the elections were cancelled. The political class would have depleted the already empty treasury in their bid to return or get elected. The loss would have been the common citizens of these states because both agitators are not so different from each other... |
tsmall:How much? |
Is that a real water closet next to her plate? ![]() |
Future impossible tense... Unfortunately, the chaos is not caused by aliens but Nigerians...yes, you and me. |
JackBaueress1:It wouldn't be a drill if it was announced. You know emergencies do not come announced. |
Still beats my imagination how people fall for this cheap Internet scams. How will a bank in Nigeria send you a mail from @gmail account? I have lost count of several similar mails that I have received, if it gets lucky to reach my inbox, it will find its way back into the spam folder at my first log-on. Apart from the fact that scammers use extractors for email addresses, forum users show be weary of how many times they drop their emails on useless threads like cheat codes and get rich quick schemes. |
@ Mekaboy I get it out now. I was thinking as the engineer that i am and not as an economist. It is common sense but i guess i didnt figure it out until i dispalyed my ignorance. Thanks for your patience and I am sorry if I annoyed you. I checked other measures of the economy like gdp and per capita income and ofcourse Nigeria is far ahead. |
mekaboy:There you go again...mixing the official and parallel rates together... Official rates... 1 usd = 199.4 Naira 1 usd = 3.82 Cedi 1 cedi = 52.1Naira 199.4 ÷ 3.82 = 52.1 These numbers are not from the air... |
