Djicemob:How do you mean? We cannot take it away from him that he diffused the tension that was building but that didn't hand him the heroism that some folks are shouting... |
I was just thinking... If GEJ could muster the courage to call the bluff of the monsters around his presidency just this one time as widely speculated...how come he was helpless until it was too late? Take it or leave it, GEJ is responsible for all the decisions his administration took when he held the power as C in C. Yes, he has achieved a stateman's status for matching his words with action even if it was just for once but I will very much contest his heroism... |
ogiby86:I cannot give you the figures because I do not know but you can be rest assured that the pay is competitive with other companies in their category. You could have 2 or 3 interviews after the problem solving tests depending on what you applied for. Best of luck. |
clevvermind:How if I may ask? GEJ does not only need 25% of votes cast in two thirds of the states, he also need majority of votes. As far as I know, Oyo, Ogun and Osun are more or less with the opposition with only Ekiti for PDP. |
Charliewyt:How? APC won in 12 out of the 17 LGAs declared there supposing the results are genuine... |
I didn't believe my eyes when I got to the point where Mr President was wooing the northerners with the return of power to them. Mr President, I hope the northerners will still believe you this time after all it wasn't too long ago that you promised to serve only a term and return power to them, this promise you broke with your decision to run for another term. While you are eminently qualified to run, I hope your performance in the last 5 to 6yrs will be enough to convince them to believe you. |
While I expect a Buhari win, I also think the poll was too gracious to GMB. |
The reality is this... The presidential election is not between the PDP and APC, it is between Jonathan and Nigerians. Even the map shared by the OP clearly showed this. I expect a lot more people to vote based on personality than party affiliations. I also expect people to vote based on present realities in the country...queues in the filling stations, falling value of Naira and general insecurity... My prediction for the election, Jonathan will win more states and GMB will win more votes... |
nattyGENT:Did you feel better after saying all these? if you didn't, something is wrong. |
...sliced bread. |
It will be castrophic if voting for the incumbent will make me reason like the OP. |
He is only a typical Nigerian that is frustrated. Many more Nigerians are also this frustrated but have learnt to manage it without displaying such public nuisance. |
paullo240:I watched the video, the two points up there are actually in a single statement. I think you decided to break the statement at the point where it served your interest. paullo240:There is a father that is very rich, yet the children are poor. Even Doyin Okupe acknowledge that the growth in the country's economy can only support locomotives. paullo240:Both parties (APC & PDP) are guilty of this. You can say it was right for Mama Peace to ask for the stoning of political opponents paullo240:It was obvious from the outset that this was exactly what the sect was out to achieve. They gained unimaginable grounds while the political elites were trading blames across party, ethnic and religious lines. Overall, it is shameful and disgraceful that world leaders are preaching how important peace is to us during elections. |
donsteady:Even if you didn't watch the video, up there is the transcript...Violence has no place in the coming elections. |
I know very little about economics, I am actually an engineer by training. But I know that two production lines in my company are down for about two weeks now because people are not buying these products... I know that 20% of the total contract staffs are currently been handed their stay at home letters as I type this... I know that there is a loud uneasy because there are rumors that some staffs will have asked to leave... It is not so difficult to understand economics after all. .. |
Be careful people, this smells like a scam. P&G recruits people into entry level positions, I very much doubt that there will ever be a position with Msc and PhD as minimum requirements. |
The facts are laid bare...Height ranking is 121st in 2008. The results plummeted with the current regime contributed to by both ruling and opposition party leaders. When was the last FEC meeting held? Just thinking out loud... |
JeffreyJamez:The replays showed clearly it wasn't. |
How on earth is that a red card? |
noblezone:Elections are not rigged at the polling units. It is mostly at the collation centers that the manipulation happens. Can you tell me how you want to manipulate the card reader at the polling unit in the full glare of the voters? We can ague the timing of the card readers but the technology behind it can be made foolproof at least to the voters and politicians. |
Contrary to your opinion @OP, the card readers are not linked to INEC's server. They are standalone units with the data of each polling unit loaded on them. The readers are expected to compare the data stored in the cards with the ones in its memory and determine whether they are original or fake. According to INEC, the number of accredited voters can also be gotten from the card readers when they are returned back to their office. People are always reluctant to try new things and new processes also bring with it some complications but come to think of it, even with catastrophic accidents in the air, faster and bigger airliners are manufactured each year. We can make our systems more efficient and foolproof only if we are willing to. |
c0ogumo:Sure boss! |
schneid:Perfect, a reasonable option. Is the pump AC or DC? You just have to be careful with high DC currents, they are dangerous. Your efficiencies might also well exceed 90% since there will be no power inversion. On the side, is your client building a poultry farm? |
schneid:Are the loads purchased already? if not, I suggest you go for 220v power so you can go higher on the battery voltage. It might save you some more costs. Same for the 30HP pump. You will be able to run it on a VFD and prevent the expected starting current... |
@ Schneid, it will be near impossible to charge 38 strings of battery adequately. It is even advisable not to go beyound 3 or 4 strings. You will definitely need to step up that battery voltage to 48 or 96V so that the number of the strings will be reduced. I think you were also too optimistic about the efficiency of the system. 85 or 90% will be reasonable. On a lighter note, are you going to finance that project with a World Bank loan or is it FG sponsored? 78 batteries at 60k each will be 4.6M. |
tivta:I am in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital. My area is general damp. I share boundary with a seasonal stream. |
Barezzi:It rarely gets hot here at night but even if it does, a cold shower and my standing fan will do just fine...#ihavedecided |
I am going completely off grid (Nepa abi na Phcn switched off) till the end of 2015. I want to prove to madam that "I have fully delivered my promise on power"...LOL The Count up Started on February 15th, 15 days downed already... Who is joining me? |
clevvermind:I am not holding any brief for Buhari but is he the only evil man or leader in Nigeria past and present? I still want to know how you can identify a believer and unbeliever. |
