CyberG

And why do you say it's all BS if I may ask. I'm in the telecoms industry (not bharti) and I think otherwise, but then, maybe I can learn something(s) from you.

@gallivant and volina,

How you guys doing, very nice pics. I've read this thread from page 1 to 72. I love very much what I'm seeing.

Guys, I'll be moving to Nairobi Kenya in a few weeks time to set up my company's Kenyan branch. I'm the Business Development Manager of a telecoms company in Nigeria.

Please, Please, Please, can I contact you guys off this forum (private)?

I need a very good contact person in Kenya prior to my coming.

Thanking you in advance for your anticipated favourable response.
PoliticsRe: Facebook Influenced My U-turn On National Teams’ Ban — President by bodsibobo(m): 5:20pm On Jul 07, 2010
If you were Jonathan and you do an analysis of the kind of comments and insults that have been heaped on you by forumites on nairaland, would you sign up? We keep complaining that government does not listen to us. Now the man has found a good way to connect with young people and its insults all the way. We, Nigerians are just an impossible bunch of people!!!
maybe that's why that mad dude on the hill in minna said it's not yet time for the youths to rule Naija. tongue grin
PoliticsRe: Facebook Influenced My U-turn On National Teams’ Ban — President by bodsibobo(m): 5:15pm On Jul 07, 2010
He ought not stop at FACEBOOK only, Jonathan should also come and register on NAIRALAND too, that way, he'll really be in tune with the REALITY in Nigeria, honestly!

PoliticsRe: 2011: Babangida To Set Up Offices In 32 States by bodsibobo(m): 5:22pm On Jun 29, 2010
Think of this real quick: If that is really Babahginda's house (and he clearly can afford it), then he'll have maybe 50 more scattered all ova the globe, plus full staff all year round for maintenance and beautification (not withstanding that he aint gonna see some of those cribs for like 4 years), Private jets all ova the world (stand-by pilots, air-hostesses,maintenance, hangar costs ect), yachts/boats, luxury cars, businesses, security ect all of these require operational costs! Big money! If 50 cent spends $20,000 every week on security to guard him from "just" hood niggaz, imagine how much the most hated General (who counts among his security staff ex agents of the Mossad and FBI) spends to defend himself from the wrath of Nigeria's well-known blood spilling politicos! Then factor in the global meltdown that turned billionaires into thousandnaires!

The point of all of this? GEN.BABAHNGIDA IS FUNXCKING BROKE!!! Not broke in the sense that he aint got maybe 1 or 2 billion dollars left. But, broke in the sense that his accountants have told him that "Yo, this dough aint gonna last you the next 3 years considering your expenses. . . . . ". Being the hustler that he is, and seeing Nigeria as his personal "crack-spot", getting back to the seat of power is his chance to "re-up". Let Nigerians deny him his wish and watch him get exposed, sooner rather than later. But then again, Ojukwu already endorsed him, so, who are we kidding!?!?
good arithmetics, also factor in inflation and other write offs from lost investments to failed projects and ventures etc (like u said the dude has no known successful and running business(es) he's invested in); i too think the guy is broke jooor, and too, he somehow comes across as desperate for the position.

But I'm sure if your man offered to buy them for you, you'd gladly take them.  grin  grin  grin

Meaning: the problem isn't really the items; nor the prices but from whose pocket/wallet the funds is coming out from!!!  wink  wink  wink

Hey mekus and wily+wily etc,

I really wonder what manner of human beings you guys are. I'm surrounded by Igbo people in my office and these guys are excellent, friendly, jovial, fun people and we yorubas get along well with them; we are all like a big happy family.

I wonder how you relate with other tribes in your real life if you can be this hostile to them on the internet. I definitely do not want people like you around me!!
BusinessRe: Was Abiola An International Drug Baron? by bodsibobo(m): 6:17pm On May 14, 2010
I've read all the posts in this thread and I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the only thing the oyibos (the west) had against Abiola - REPARATIONS!!

He was truly going to fuc.k them up with reparations to turn around all the debts they claimed Africa owed them into assets for the black man!!

excuse me, is mekusxxx = igbo boy? (a la multiple user name)

just my observation that since mekusxxx has been 'taken apart' and silenced over his inability to prove his spurious claims over his non-existent academic qualifications, he's suddenly stopped posting and "igbo boy" has continued into his peculiar uncivilised manner of tribalistic attack, especially on anything yoruba

I was once in a queue at the Home Office in one country trying to extend my visa when the young man in front of me (an Igbo chap), while being attended to by the Home Affairs official claimed he had a B.Sc. in Fine Arts. I nearly died of shock!

mekusxxx, are you that guy?? shocked shocked shocked

THIS ONLY REVEAL HOW MUCH WE LACK UNDERSTANDING
AND HOW ALIEN WE ARE TO TRUE KNOWLEDGE

BEFORE FESTAC 77
$1 = #1
AFTER FESTAC 77
$1=#150 AND RISING

SPIRITUAL THINGS GOVERNS THE NATURAL
ASK your PARENTS AND CARRY OUT your RESEARCH

WHAT U SEE IS NOT WHAT IT IS
I thought we were over with this Festac-77-causing-our-poverty crap in this country. That was the catch phraise of many preachers in the days of austerity measures. It's a pity you're still thinking like this in 2010.

But my question has always been what about those other countries where they had FESTAC before 1977 and countries where they had it after 1977 and they are currently very bouyant economies as at today and doing very well?

Abeg, it irritates me when people find excuses for our inept leadership and blame it on FESTAC 77.

TravelRe: Poverty_in Britain! Nigerian_single_mother_of_4 by bodsibobo(m): 12:17pm On Mar 08, 2010
Sure Nigeria is up and coming with more religious violence, ethnic hatred and oils wars amidst all the gross povery caused by years of corruption and pilaging by the so called ruling elite.

Oh I forgot to mention , also up and coming in more sophisticated robberies and grotesque cases of outright assasinations and murders.
@frosbel

Keep on consoling yourself. So you really think that an educated Nigerian without papers is better off in the UK than Naija. O.K. o, by the time he or she has wasted away their productive lives; all their mates would have moved on in Naija becoming MD's and Entrepreneurs while they are neck deep in debts, debts and more debts, except of course those that are involved in one illegality or the other.

You guys better wake up, I can count over 20 guys that I know very well that have re-relocated back to Naija from USA / UK / etc and they themselves know they are better off here in Naija than when they were wasting away in the UK / USA.

By the way, have you been to Naija (Lagos) recently?
