Even if my papa dey do drugs, I won't waste my time defending him online. I'll simply and quietly take over the business like Seyi Tinubu has done, so my father can rest from being in the negative spotlight. |

By virtue of the flawed numbers computed by INEC during the elections, Atiku Abubakar came second in the Presidential Elections with over 6.5 million votes.
Yet for some insanely weird reason, Reno Omokri and his likes will always seek to victimize Peter Obi and his deluge of followers/admirers, everytime offences are committed and culprits are sought, simply because Obi is an Igbo man and it is stupidly assumed that only Igbos make up his concregation.
You people should rest! It's Atiku who sued Tinubu in the US, not Obi. It is Atiku's supporters who are hounding CSU on social media platforms over this certificate saga, not Obidients. You guys should conquer your fear and call out Atiku and his Atikulates! |

Lukuluku69: I am not annoyed in any way.
Yes Impound them, fine them but destroy the Bikes? I say No.
Y'all crying about scarcity and pressure on FX yet you destroy what the stuff those FX get you. I don't know how you ended up with the deduction that the crushing of worn out motorcycles in Abuja is supposed to be a negative teller on our FX. On the flip side, I can tell you that the buzzing presence of motorcycles on express roads of the city center, is an impeding factor on our ability to attract foreign direct investment. I cannot be a serious economic billionaire who seeks to invest in Nigeria, only for me to visit the country on a physical tour and find rickety motorcycles littering the roads in the name of economic activities, yet still be expected to bring my investment. Motorcycles and kekes in major roads of Abuja, are a colossal eyesore, and if crushing some is the requirement to make the rest take the required initiative, then by all means, Wike should carry on! Only this year, Okada riders have been responsible for about 8 deaths that I personally know of, along Apo mechanic road alone. |

Calitoscassius: I agree totally in crimes and punishments. I have also being put before the law severally and punished.
Okay, i didn't know that they have being warned and why do you think they didn't listen? Because many naigerians break rules and laws daily without being punished many times including politicians. So they were just typical naigerians.
Yea, and you are not sentimental? I mentioned the naigerian president is a convicted drog dealer but you made excuses for him that he was shady with drug dealers but didn't make any for the bike riders or any other criminal.
Good!! More should be convicted that is if i believe this your lists and how many have being jailed or convicted recently? I have a complete dislike for Tinubu's person and his style of politics, but this card you're playing as regards this issue in discourse, is a redundant line of argument. We're all keen on having closure on Tinubu's alleged drug case in the US, but it is no yardstick for you to seek to wash away lawlessness in our society simply because we all believe Tinubu erred in far-away US. The lone fact you even had to employ that line of reasoning as a counter point, exposes your disposition to moral indecency. Wetin concern Tinubu drug case for US with Okada wey Wike crush for Abuja over flouted laws? |

Lukuluku69: Impound yes.
Destroy? Show me in the Law. I already answered the question. If you're still bent on seeing where the law is written in constitution, go and ask Nyesom Wike. If you're too annoyed to see reason, go and retrieve the motorcycles from the FCTA storage yard in Wuse. |

Let me also remind you that this oloriburuku Uzodimma sang the praises of Buhari to high heavens despite him being the biggest fraud and failure of a president in our history.

Just another perspective of the whole confusion.
If any Law is broken, let the Law take it Course.
Please show me the Law that says Destroy the Bikes of Offenders Impounding of motorcycles belonging to errant riders is lawfully permissible. What becomes of those seized motorcycles is solely within the purview of the authorities. |

blaise26abj: Thank you o . So because some few elites break the law , we should allow everyone else to break the law . Even the almight USA have elites getting away with breaking laws . It is not a totally fair system . But it is what we have . If you see how these mostly unregulated bike guys operate , you will fear . People’s cars get burnt because a bike guy hits a car in a place they are prohibited . Happened right in front of me in Apo mechanic Abuja .
Until they become victims of the bad bikemen either as a passenger or as a road user , they will never learn . You don't need to tell me bro. Abuja motorcyclists and Keke riders are a menace. They cause accidents with their reckless road stunts, and when you seek to caution them, they quickly form clusters around vehicle owners with daggers and other remorseless pieces of glass and metals. Sometime in March this year, a fulani bike guy ran into an Army man's Rav-4 at Galadimawa junction and was crude enough to even insult and threaten the man with a small knife. Man simply parked on that open space under the bridge being constructed and in no time, that roundabout was littered with military, mopol and DSS officials, all escorting the FCTA personnel who came with bulldozers. Bikes crushed that afternoon were way over the number in this report. We're just too lawless in this country. |

Lukuluku69: Very funny.
Government will issue license to import Motorcycles. Collect Taxes on importation.
Motorcycle Riders pay money for Licenses and Number plates.
Then, a Minister will seize them and ask that they should be destroyed. Now you're conveniently twisting the narrative. A foreigner who has no prior knowledge of the goings-on in Nigeria, will read this your comment and end up with a very negative perception of governance on all levels. For 17years now, there has been a standing order for commercial motorcycles to avoid the city center and other prohibited routes. But typical Nigerians who are habitual law breakers, will stupendously deviate from the laws, then crime apologists like you will lambast the government when repercussions are dished out. Tomorrow you'll still be the same person to weep about how lawless Nigeria is. What do you people even want in this country?! |

Travel › Re: Why Don't Northerners Travel Out Like Southerners? by BoldBrainz(m): 9:17am On Sep 02, 2023 |
FreeStuffsNG: God bless you sir. There are even multigenerational black Palestinians who trace their origin to Northern Nigeria. Like a century ago, their ancestors moved from Nigeria to settle in Palestine in solidarity with the Palestinians and Islam. Some stayed back while some kept moving back and forth. There's an ancient trade route from northern Nigeria to the whole Northern Africa that's still active till today for moving goods to Northern Africa.
There's a particular popular cap Northern Africans and Arabs wear, they source it from Northern Nigeria. In fact, in one aljazeera documentary, a merchant acknowledged that they source those caps only from Northern Nigeria because that's only where the original authentic brand of that cap comes from. There's so much ignorance most Youths in the South have about the North and it's so sad. The North has produced a lot of best graduating students in the top southern universities more than most even know.
If you attend top Southern universities in the SW like UNILAG, UI and OAU to study the top courses like Pharmacy, Medicine, Engineering, Maths/Statistics, Agriculture, you must have met at least one of those Northerners. They are geniuses and most are so integrated that you may not even know that they are Northerners. Some speak Yoruba very fluently and most that I know are from Kano, Kaduna and Borno. Kano leads though, probably because of their huge population I can't say 100% or as a state policy. The few I know are proteges of Kwankwaso
Smh. I can see that your stark ignorance is giving you blissful satisfaction. Go on and keep wasting your time and life scoffing This entire epistle is just you eulogising your fine mood this morning. The average northerner doesn't travel or explore, and that's not even supposed to be a subject for debate. |

TemplarLandry: Get your facts right. You'll see them en masse in UAE, Saudi, Somalia, Sudan, even in Niger. OP is right. Northerners don't explore. Those places you listed are literally their other homes. And it's even the rich ones that do these travels. The average northerner is very confined to his space. They're mostly timid, except when in packs and in areas where the atmosphere promotes their religious excesses. |
