Zionmdde: There is no correlation between the pace of works at dangote refinery and that of phrc One is new, the other is a TAM
Now you know the road to the refinery abi? Why not visit there. Stay around and ask questions Lie to support one greedy politician? Na wa oo Even the turnaround maintenance at the Port Harcourt refinery cannot be done in five months, if the work was to begin today. Bola Tinubu simply made that promise to quell fraying nerves and heightened tempers. The level of decay in that PHC refinery requires about a 60percent replacement of structural equipments, if it has to function at its full capacity. That is not something that can be achieved by December, and Tinubu very well knows this. He just needed to buy more time for his confused government. |

There's no way it's beginning operations this year. Stop misinforming people. No be only you sabi road go the refinery. |

Buhari promised more than this.
Billions were buried in proposed turn-around maintenance and revitalisation of the same refineries. Mele Kyari and his oil goons siphoned said monies and the refineries are worse today than they were in 2014.
All of this is just more noise. |

Perfectbeing: I'm not Yoruba. And I've never heard the Yoruba saying that the place the littered in is a no man's land because they pay their taxes there.
Never heard them say they'd remove the kings of those places. Never heard them have a loud opinion of who should rule those States. That you've never heard these things doesn't mean they don't happen. If all tribes were to reason and react to provocation like the Yorubas do towards the Igbos, the original indigenes of Abuja would have chased you Yorubas out of the city long ago. That these eventualities are not put out in the media like Yorubas brandish their enmity with the Igbos, doesn't mean these things don't happen in other places, but because other tribes have come to understand that everyone should have equal stakes in this country, irrespective of your origin and your choice of residence. |

I'm comfortably in support of Tinubu invading Niger republic. This country has long been overdue for a reset. And this war, might just be the red button that makes it happen. A war with Niger that spreads into the North will present a solid excuse for the South South to effortlessly extricate herself from this Lord Lugard's abominable experiment.. . So by all means, let Bola Tinubu go and fulfill his destiny of bringing ruin to Nigeria. |

Made2Last: Okay...let's vilify her ...
That's very important...
Though,we all can see that the Op didn't give us the whole transcript of her speech so that we can know exactly what she was saying, the simple fact that she's the wife of a governor, especially Lagos state governor, means she should be pilloried for her speech... You're clearly the only one reasoning along this line. She's being pilloried for talking nonsense in reaction to an unfortunate incident that culminated in the death of yet another Nigerian. If negligence had not been the order of the day, requisite maintenance and repairs will have been effected to prevent any accidents. But it had to happen and an adult woman feels justified to vomit this garbage into a microphone. |

seunmsg: To be fair to him, he advocated for people who have things to offer and are willing to serve to be allowed to serve irrespective of party affiliation since public service belongs to no one’s father.
Digging deep to bring out a 2019 tweet where he said something not so nice about Tinubu just to blackmail him is nonsense. A lot of those that accused Peter Obi of being a failure while serving as governor are now telling us he’s the best thing to happen to humanity after slice bread. People change their opinion about others with time and it’s no big deal.
So, it’s nothing. The tweet means nothing. He will serve as minister and contribute his quota to the development of the country. We want people who can deliver result in government and not asslickers. You all should learn to deal with it. Looks like your conscription into the Army is being prepared. Perfectbeing: As their kinsmen continue to pour in their millions into the South West, their political elites based in the Southwest are aggressively lobbying lawmakers across Nigeria to ban state of origin and replace it with state of residence and you think this people want Biafra or they mean well for indigenous people in the SW Nigeria?
As they move in their millions into your spaces, they want the same rights as the indigenous people of those places. They mastered the act of propaganda and victimhood. Anybody who calls out their evil agenda is tagged a tribalist, a big:ot, a hater or they hide under patriotism.
A lot of Yoruba politicians have fallen deep into this propaganda. They don't even want to associate with those of you calling out this evil invasion that is happening in your region. When the shit hits the fan, your politicians will start running Helter skelter shouting Yoruba Ronu.😂
It is madness to accommodate people who preach constant hatred against the indigenous people of a space. The core North and we in the South South will never accept this nonsense. SW should are playing with fire. Why do you Yorubas on nairaland just delight in displaying your foolery? It is how you conveniently talk like there aren't Yorubas littered everywhere in other Nigerian regions, that quite amuses the sensibilities.. |

Omoawoke2: Same protest during the endsars that turned to something else in the streets of Wuse 2, Apo, lokogoma. Or it seems u never enter Abuja that year or your memory is failing you EndSars turned violent in most states including Abuja, because of the infiltration of hoodlums and high-handedness of security operatives. That's the only reason it saw the intervention of security personnel in Abuja. Outside that, civil protesters are hardly ever harassed or shot at, in Abuja. Except the government is ready to disgrace itself. That notwithstanding, we're mobilising for a massive protest if Bola Tinubu does not take the necessary steps and decisions in the next 2 weeks.. |
