Benue State is just jinxed with bad leadership.

A state so blessed with abundant resources, fertile lands for large scale agriculture, profitable proximity to water, yet so backward, under-developed and impoverished.

No roads, no portable drinking water, even their sachet water has taste, no proper electricity, outside Dangote cement and Nigerian brewery, no other worthwhile industries, nothing. The only thing they have been able to properly harness and distribute is "Vagina and sex".

Yet you'll see their sons like BenueJosh, spending the entirety of his life defending failed APC politicians here on nairaland and facebook huh!

Godforbid bad things!

See these Yoruba people o grin!

After foolishly voting for Tinubu and standing on his retarded mandate, you're stowing away in ships to escape the effects of the governance of the same thieving charlatan you stubbornly voted for cause of tribe and religion.

They should deport the bastard back to Ibadan let him join the army and eat Tinubu's maize!

South Africa have the best chance among them against Netherlands

Don't see Nig and Morocco surviving England and France respectively.
South Africa will lose with nothing less than a 2 goal margin.

But if the falcons can hold on for a draw through out the open play, they'll eliminate England through penalties.. huh
Car Talk › Re: As A Driver If You Find Yourself In This Situation What Will You Do? by BoldBrainz(m): 3:49pm On Aug 03, 2023
Reversing might be your biggest mistake in this circumstance. Spikes on the road means you're largely expected to stop once you spot them, and attempt to turn around. Don't!

If the road has shoulders, no matter how slim, use either the left or right shoulder and speed through. Even if the shoulders are covered by high rising shrubs, drive through it.

And except you carry a gun in that vehicle or on your person, the one thing you don't want to do is come down to remove the blockade grin.

For you, everything is a conspiracy against Tinubu.

Can't you see the man is failing? If your husband at home blatantly fails at performing his responsibilities and only acts in ways that are inimical to your wellbeing and that of your kids, is this the kind of nonsensical mindset and opinions you'll be having?
Politics › Re: Federal Government Triggers No Work No Pay For Striking Resident Doctors. by BoldBrainz(m): 3:25pm On Aug 03, 2023
Very wrong move.

Your country is facing an acute dearth with respect to qualified medical personnel, and instead of holistically addressing the root causes behind their protests and unwillingness to work, you're trying to arm-twist them with the "no work no pay" policy.

Until we end up with just nurses in our hospitals nationwide, this clueless party and government won't rest with their anti-people style of governance.. huh.

Who dey even advise these bastards, ni tori olohun?!

Somehow, they'll always manage to rope Peter Obi into every nairaland thread. Even their President Tinubu does not occupy their craniums the way Obi does.

In all, I would tell you guys these.

There is a massive disinformation campaign going on right now in west Africa.

Russian troll farms are working overtime across west Africa right now.

Be very careful about the things you read online and have your countries best interest at heart.
This is happening in our own backyard.

Russia now has the most foreign military presence across Africa even more than the US via Wagner. Nigeria our country has now been entirely surrounded by military dictatorships including countries that had not had military rule for more than 40 years.

Ask yourself this, like seriously ask yourself this. No matter how bad Tinubu or Buhari are, do you wish to see Nigeria slide back to the days of military rule under Babangida, Abacha, Murtala Mohammed and the likes?? Giving us a common enemy "in the west" while wholeheartedly embracing another foreign element in Russia??

Do we want a military dictator beholden to Putin?

Think!!
YES!

Now rest.

1stGenAmerican:
Civilization began on the African continent so you guys had a head start in development. Hundreds of years later, you’re praising the Yellow man for giving you loans and building infrastructure and the White man for loans and giving you grain like chickens. African nations shouldn’t need loans, help to build infrastructure, and grain from the White man—you should be self-sufficient but you’re here bragging about it. African nations are shameless.
Trust me, we are indeed ashamed!

We are ashamed that the democracy we've been burdened with has only gone a long way to benefit and enrich a small class of elites and politicians, at the expense of the masses.

We are ashamed that greed has festered and blossomed into unmitigated corruption that has held our continent spell-bound and inhibited any form of commendable progress.

We are ashamed that decades after independence, our democratic leaders are still being railroaded like lambs to the slaughter by the same colonialists, simply because these our politicians seek pecuniary gains.

We are ashamed that since Nigeria was amalgamated in 1914, we're still stuck in that rot where ethnicity and religion are weapons being wielded to divide and conquer the populace.

We are ashamed that every peaceful efforts we have made towards liberating the Nigerian state from the shackles of deprivation and impoverishment, have been forcefully stampeded or swept away with propaganda.

We are ashamed that we are a resourceful continent that is unable to achieve growth and fulfilment by utilising our god-given resources because we are trapped in a vicious circle of oppression by the Western countries, acting through our shameless politicians.

We are ashamed that even our votes do not count. Our voices can not be heard. Our electoral choices are thrown out the window by thieving and marauding septuagenarians and octogenarians who have looted enough of our resources to control our institutions.

Believe me my sister, there's no feeling we have now, other than that of shame and helplessness.. huh!

Where I come from, there's a saying that "stupid people know the kind of people they exhibit stupidity towards".

I'm not a nice fellow. And my beards happen to give me this really mean demeanour, coupled with the fact I leave no hair on my head.

No stupid religious zealot can find the audacity to approach me with rubbish talks. Even my father who is a Regional Pastor in a popular pentecostal church knows better than to comment on my looks or choice of lifestyle whenever we meet. Na people like this OP dey leave room for nonsense because "they don't want to come off as rude".

Omoh, I will embarrass you if you make my personal life your concern. No be your papa or church pastor dey feed me.

I have a lot to tell you on this issue, but I'll rather not. Just use that same phone and do your research. What’s your take on this picture?

Let’s finish d first before we move to d second
Again I ask you, is this your response and justification for the killing of unarmed Nigerian citizens by the same government that was elected to safeguard lives and property, and the endless cover-up stories of lies and deceit since October 2020?

If you cannot answer the question, you have no yardstick to ask me another.

No essence to these arguments my guy grin.

I'll contact my friend and have him send me real-time photos of the situation of things in that refinery, once his offshore vessel berths at the Onne Port between now and Tuesday next week.

That's where you got is wrong
TAM has been on for over one year now. I don't want to be specific. Those equipment that needed replacement have come in before elections.
It's easy to enter phrc when it is operational than to enter now, why? Because government only want you to know what they tell you
Are we talking about the same PHC refinery at Alesa Eleme, with two facilities? Where the first facility that refines about 60,000 barrels per day has been sitting moribund for over a decade under Ahmed Dikko.. grin?

Even the second facility that was built in the late 80s with the 150,000 barrels refining capacity equally went out of order before Yaradua took over governance and that TAM has always been touted since forever. Buhari's government appropriated budgetary allocations for that purpose, equipments were procured and no work has been done anywhere in both facilities. Only reason access is being limited there is to prevent loss of those equipments.

Nothing tangible has been going on there my guy grin!
