Double check on the figure your put as funds you will be traveling with. Make sure it is above the required amount for your family size... Pls confirm that and let's see if it works. Hamiltondreamer: 1 Like |

It's your supervisor's discretion to issue and sign the letter. You can also add the generic letter from HR alongside employment letter and other docs u might have. But there is absolutely nothing to worry about. It's not illegal nor fraudulent as long as the info contained and true. slyman187: 1 Like |

There in absolutely NOTHING wrong with using the letterhead for this purpose... Firstly, CIC says either HR or Supervisor can sign the letter... Secondly, it's an official document stating official duties... Except false information is being put on it for CIC. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with it. With reference to the GTB issue, it was false information not a case of using the company letterhead. Patterns18: 1 Like |

Yes, you can get your supervisor to sign the letter you draft, but you need to print in on the letter headed paper... That should not be difficult for you or supervisor to get a hold of. That's what my wife did. Try avoiding the notary if you can. slyman187: 1 Like |

I can guarantee you that even the agents can't hold tickets beyond 24-48hrs without paying. It's very bad business for the airlines. What the agents don't tell you is that they just keep cancelling and re-booking for you, especially when you are certain you will be traveling... And in many cases, they make more money of you if the rates are different at the time they actually pay for the ticket. esosa4real: |

Agents can't hold it any longer either... Only if the ticket is issued or you pay a deposit, depending on your relationship with the agent. esosa4real: |

You can do it as well, if you book directly from the airline's website... The maximum you can hold it for is 24 - 48 hours. esosa4real: |

That would not cause any problems. I did same. EE profile had all the work experience, but I took them out after ITA... Moved them to personal history. I would have still been tryna get some work reference by now. cc: MRSDA 40manlappy: 3 Likes |

I think it's a good idea to submit all you have mentioned, if you really cannot get another copy from the church nor the registry... Maybe excluding the invitation and program tho (pictures should be ok to add). The police report is a good idea, because it would state the things missing along with the vehicle, including the wedding certificate... This is I assuming you mentioned the important documents in the car at the time of theft and statement writing at the police station. Otherwise, I see no reason why you should add it. Explain further so we can try advice better... Thanks Cannybabe: |

From a few people's experience here, you do not need to add your husband's banks statement... An LOE should suffice. Olamidexy: |

I do not have much experience in this area, but from the look of things, as it was stated clearly as 2 different degrees, OND (2 years) and BSc (4years),... It seems safe to claim 2 degrees or more. 40manlappy: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Good morning... While I am not a supporter of using agents, I am very certain you had an agreement with this said agent and agreed to their price and payment terms. Just because you stumbled on this thread and realized 'now' it's something you can do yourself, does not mean they are automatically scammers. They offered you a service and you agreed to take them on. They even ensured you got ITA! Some just take your money and do not work... I see work being done here. If you had a contract with them, I will advice you finish up your side of the agreement, especially when they are keeping up to theirs (ITA for you)... But really it's your call at the end of the day. Just tryna give advice based on my own opinion. All the best! fashoga: 8 Likes |

Why not draft and get your immediate supervisor to sign the letter on your bank letterhead. It doesn't have to come from HR. That's what my wife did (not a bank tho)... superdoll: 1 Like |

I think it's best your husband sends the balance to your account, cos when you add him to your application, CIC will request for an updated POF for 2... You can add an LOE stating he transferred the money to you to complete the POF. Olamidexy: |

If you believe this, you shouldn't advice anyone to get PCC for countries visited for a cumulative of 4 months... CIC simply requires 6 months and above.. freeradical: 6 Likes |

You have to scan all pages with stamps on your passport... They would easily determine all the places you have been to and how long. Can't be hidden. nkigirl: |

I doubt that can be done... But if that's the case, you can go ahead and apply for his student visa. With regards to your POF, after payment of his fees, would you still have the required amount required for your family size? Not sure a projected income would work. dtush: |

Is your younger brother included in your PR application? If yes, you might need to get some sort of adoption papers (not sure if that can be done for siblings, if it can be done... you will have no issues). I am suggesting this because siblings cannot be included in your PR application. Also, he might be above 18 years from what I gather... you need to confirm if adding him is a possibility. If for any reason you can successfully include him in your application, I do not think you need to apply for a student visa. PR will be good enough and even better... dtush: |

Yes you do have a chance. Try read from page 0... You should get a lot of info on what steps to take. Make sure you evaluate only your MSc... It gives you the highest points needed in that section and being in Turkey, I assume it should be processed faster. Use this link to check your possible score... http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp All the best! Temas: 1 Like |

He/she doesn't need to... That's the reason for the form to inform IRCC of changes in Family... All he/she needs to do is notify IRCC of the new addition. He/she will be asked to pay the extra Fee ($150) for the child and also upload/send passport details. MummyJaygirls: 6 Likes |
