It is now I believe Nigeria lacks intelligence to fight terrorism. How could they put this out in the public? By doing this, Ahmad Salkida and others will most likely not cooperate with them. I doubt if UAE will extradite him to Nigeria based on this. What happened to secret policing to dig out where Salkida and others are, pick them up quietly, and convince them to cooperate? |

I love this Bibi. I've been following this thread in ghost mode since it was in page 3. I like the angle through which you perceive prostitution and people living with HIV/AIDS in this story. Most people stereotype these individuals while they know next to nothing about their stories. I have a cousin, a good guy, living with HIV. He was never promiscuous. I know because we live together. His HIV status cost him his job and fiancee. I know his struggles. Its real. For those reading this story, know that if you have it good, its not because you're better. I hope Bibi's story will make an impact, no matter how little, on how people view prostitutes and those living with HIV/AIDS. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

OP, same with me too. I was fire in primary and secondary school but I graduated with a CGPA of 3.40 in university. I think this is not a problem because our intelligence is still there. We just need to consciously tap into it and create success for ourselves. |

Apart from the books, there were classic poems written by the likes of Christopher Okigbo and co. There was a collection of those poems in a book. I've forgotten the title. I need that book anyone pls?
Who remembers the African Child, The River Between and Weep not Child?
The concubine will always be one of my favorites, One Week One Trouble too, Bottled Leopard, Arrow of God, Anthills of Savannah and Man of the People. Wives Revolt was interesting too, Ralia The Sugar Girl, and Without A Silver Spoon.
In fact, God bless you OP. Nostalgia just full me as I dey now. Golden memories. 2 Likes |

junnyjake: If I'm to be honest, I've read only about 12 of the books here, and thanks ishilove for the walk down memory lane, growing up in the 90s, I consider that a blessing.
Growing up, I was reading only African authors, no foreign books. That was all I was provided with then, mostly pacesetters.
My all time favorite was and would be 'the cyclist' I can't remember the author though.
The next one was 'no condition is permanent.' A really unique plot. These are bo oks I would read over and over again. I read many pacesetter novels too. They were so interesting. The virtuous woman was a pacesetter 1 Like |

You do not even know how the 1 day cabinet is chosen. You're thinking he handpicked them abi? Smh. This list shows NOTHING has changed about how the military recruits their personnel. Everything is still NEPOTISM championed by powerful of the country to put JUST their children & wards there.
The screening done was only about height and originals f credentials. The military personnel that checked mine said I PASSED in both height and original of credentials. They should have atleast allowed us to write the interview before cutting us off because we have no godfather.
All I see are names of children of who is who... Buratai, Inalegwu, Adewole (2 of his children), Jibrin, Enenche, Ogar, Udom, Galadima, Fasoranti, Waziri, Ciroma e.t.c. |
