Politics › Re: Herdsmen Killing Nigerians Are From Libya – Buhari by Bollinger(m): 9:59pm On May 14, 2016
If this true, it does not matter. Where they come from is not the issue. The issue is Nigerians are being killed on a daily basis. Either from fulani herdsmen, the police, millitants, armed robbers, etc. The president is the chief security officer of the nation and it is his job to protect it's citizens. If he can't do this, then he should resign.

You did not answer my question. How did people appease God in the old testament? I know what you are going to say; "Jesus changed all that", which is exactly the point. Things change one way or the other. If you don't like it, you might as well be living in the stone age. Which you are, mentally. It is so annoying when people use the bible to perpetuate stupidity.

The scripture also said to sacrifice cattle for your sins. When Last did you do that? Also the bible specifically bans divorce. Would you advice your sister to stay with a man who uses her like a panel beater would use a car? Guy, think na.

My take.
1.Eat more of fruits and veggie
2.Reduce starchy food
3.Do more of exercise
4.STOP junk food and fatty snack
5.Engage your time and mind with meaningful things
6.Disciple your meal time....eat when necessary
7.Reduce intake of carbonated drinks

Finally...dont starve yourself. grin grin grin grin grin grin
The funny thing is a lot of people will disregard this and not know you have just given the seven steps not only to preventing obesity, but a long lasting life. Generally, people are not heath conscious so they don't really care how they look and what they consume.

I cannot think for people. I think for myself and deal with reality.
It has been established that if you steal billions in Nigeria you get only EFCC invitation and get bailed. But if one steals from the street, he will be roasted. The trend is clear. I ain't about to steal from the street any time soon. Forewarned is fore-armed. 180million Nigerians can never have one mindset. We just have to face reality and stop day-dreaming.

The folks that spend years to study Sociology and Psychology in the universities are not f.ools.
\
No one is asking you to go steal from the streets. What we are saying don't be like "shiit happens" when people who steal get murdered in the streets. It is the wrong mindset. Justifying things does not help you as a country.

There is no such thing as a normal country. No country is perfect or even striving towards perfection. We enjoy alcohol in Nigeria but in the Middle East it is not openly welcomed. If you move around black neighborhood in Chicago, you stand a high chance of catching a bullet. If a lady walks alone in India, rape is almost guaranteed. If a lady in Nigeria jumps from one man's house or hotel room to the other for cash, she may get raped.
The problem is the folks that pretend that all is well or should be well when they are not.
\
I don't think you think through what you want to write before you do. The whole point of this is to stress how Nigerians think. You yourself are a prime example. You have said that since they "burn people who steal maggi then don't steal maggi". When you should have been condemning murdering people in the streets. That mindset is scary as phuck. Imagine 100 million people walking around thinking like that? I am not naive to think there is no country without crime, but it is the way it's citizens react that differentiates them.

You answered your own question.

If you know that people get murdered for stealing maggi in Nigeria, then don't steal maggi. If you rely on people not getting murdered anywhere else for maggi, the reality will set in when there is a tire on your neck. Nigeria cannot exist with the laws of another country. Rape in Nigeria is not analyzed the same it is done in the West. In the West, No means no. But as regretable as it is, in Nigeria it is hard for Nigerians to sympathize with a lady who strings men along for cash and material items and gets raped in the process. Even the police will not entertain the case unless of course to extort money from the perpetrator. They wont give a hoot about the victim in such case. If you like quote American constitution from Akwaibom to Zango Kataf.

It is common sense.
\
Are you freaking kidding me? I thought the while point was to try be a normal country? It's just like saying "I know we are phucked up and it's ok". This is the greatest damage Nigeria has metted to it's citizens; the psychological damage. The way you guys think is mind boggling.

You just said it. The law. Which doesn't exist in Nigeria. Every country has wife beaters but what constrains these people is the law. The only reason we are talking about it here is because Nigeria is lawless. Come and do that shiit here and you will lose your house, if you have one, your money, and your time.

7. The Great Depression.

The Wall Street Crash of 1929 that led to the Great Depression was predicted by economist Roger Babson for many years before it happened. He kept warning everybody and everybody kept ignoring him. Till the crash finally happened and then Roger Babson had the chance to say, “I told you so” but I don’t think that he did. More than $5 billion evaporated and disappeared from the market leading to a decade of hardships for the whole nation.
This is the only one I disagree with. There is nothing you can do about depressions. It's economically normal. America has had more than twenty in its history and Nigeria has been in it since independence.

In a normal society, this would not even be a topic. When Cameron said that Nigeria was corrupt, everyone in Nigeria was screaming blue murder but that is the reason you don't trust your leaders to use the funds generated from the hike judiciously. Normally when you tax the populace, the funds are used to better the lives of the masses such that you would not need a wage increase. Nigeria is such a unique country.

It doesn't need to be. Submitting your work will require a verbal command. Obviously you have to submit it anyway. It's implied.

Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change. Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat or light. Pollutants, the components of pollution, can be either foreign substances/energies or naturally occurring contaminants.

I am glad you know we are talking about Nigeria.

Like I argue, case example: A lady walks around in a miniskirt expecting men to act civil because that's how it is done "abroad".
In the same abroad, a lady calls 911 and the cops show up in less than 10mins. In Nigeria, you call the cops and they show up 6hrs later, that's if they show up. Won't it be wise to tailor your standard to your environment? Nigeria is what it is and anyone who wants to live like a European
in Nigeria is bound to encounter stories that touch the heart and vice versa.

\

\
It's funny you said "tailor your standard to your environment". That is wrong. Why? Because there should always be one standard. Just because, Nigeria is lawless and they think and do things a certain way does not mean we should not acknowledge what is bad. That is the same argument people in Nigeria use to murder people who steal maggi.

I keep asking why is it that our education has gone to the dogs..no analytical thinking

Pollution is different from filth

Beijing is the most polluted city in the world but that doesn't make it the dirtiest

Pollution is caused by emission and high carbon footprint which I know you won't be able to grasp

Get educated biko
I keep asking why Nigerians don't like exploring.....no exposure. Non whatsoever. Pollution is the same as filth. Beijing is the most polluted city in the world and the air is the dirtiest. Ever been there? I have. People often wear masks on really bad days. I don't know about you, but i'd rather not get lung cancer than live in such an industrialized country. Also, when the statistics said Aba was the most polluted, they were talking about the garbage and unsanitary living conditions in that area just like anywhere else in Nigeria. Compare that to Germany. Another country i spent a couple of years in. One of the most industrialized countries in the world but with the least amount of pollution in it's atmosphere and environment. Even the way you dump plastic bottle or worse batteries will earn you a heavy fine. I would like you to take your advice and also try and explore. Google is not always your friend.
