The Nigeria of today is a function of bad citizens and terrible leaders. When you have horrible citizens, you will always have bad leaders. Why? Because the leaders come from the citizenry. Unless someone can prove to me that the leaders they have in Nigeria somehow came from the moon.

Plenty. When states cannot fend for themselves and the government continues to bail them out. Where do you think the funds are coming from? Nigerians really need to begin to understand the concept of cause and effect. Nigeria did not just become bad overnight. The cause is half a century of terrible citizens and even worse leadership. The effect is what you have as a country today. Blaming Buhari for something that is the fault of every single person in Nigeria is madness.

What are you talking about? I have told you why it is better to put a nation first before tribes. I have gone further to show you what should be common knowledge. If you had known that Germans were part of today's England then why say they weren't? I get it. You are a Nigerian. The obvious escapes you. "Nuff said.

where did you get all this your history from?English formed a union with who?ok you mean the Anglo Saxons formed a union with the celts and Britons against other Germanic tribes.well your history is very wrong am done.
I had to go to Google to get information I already knew. Pity.

The Anglo-Saxons were a people who inhabited Great Britain from the 5th century. They comprised people from Germanic tribes who migrated to the island from continental Europe, their descendants, and indigenous British groups who adopted some aspects of Anglo-Saxon culture and language.

am very sure you Dont understaunderstand what you wrote up there, the Saxons are a Germanic tribe, just like the angles
Yes. And due to the constant invasion from Germans, the English eventually had to form a union with them to become today's England. You see how incredible it sounds. They don't go about saying "i am German first then English" or vise versa. That is how a Nation is formed. Until you realise you cannot have a Nation within a Nation, you will continue to live in the heaven called Nigeria. I don't even know why i'm trying to educate you. You want a great nation but want to achieve it with caveman rules and mindset. Good luck.

I can't believe i am trying to convince a Nigerian to have a mindset of one Nigeria. If you were chinese i would understand your resistance.

Back to the topic I believe its straightforward enough for the discerning minds,Germany is a combination of English, Icelandic and Danes? Where did you get that from? Even if u mean Germanic tribes made up this countries you mentioned, you are very wrong go and read please.
Just so you know to England today is a a combination of German and saxons. But this not as important as thinking one nation, instead of multiple allegiances inside a nation. Wake up.

English is simple and complex at the same time, the words Nation,Country,States all have different meaning but they can be use interchangeable with each other depending on the context, race, ethnicity and tribe cannot be use that way.you can birth a new country today but not a Nation.
There is a reason the USA is called United States,to have a Nation takes eons of years ,Nigeria is made up of many nations not immigrants like the USA same for the UK nations but not immigrants,if no nation makes up the USA then its only natural for them to call themselves Americans 1st then any nation they came from later, the people that made up Nigeria and the Uk were all on the land before the Country was birth,America was a British colony which later metamorphs into USA.
Keep justifying and googling to justify your ignorance. You do realise that Germany of today is a combination of English, danish, and icelandic peoples right. However you want to justify your mentality google will not help you all the way. I wonder what you are trying to build? Your ethnic group or the nation. This local government farm boy mentality needs to stop.

Guy, I would like to attend whatever institution you went to. It's amazing. Where these people come from to form is not in question. In America, you have the Irish, Italian, Chinese etc. To build a Nation they had to put the country first. This simple concept is why they are a Nation. If you can't understand this then . . . . . undecided. Also, with this mentality of yours, even if they carve out a Nation of Yoruba's, you will still find people like you who will say "I am Ijebu first then Yoruba". Make una change una mentality una no go hear.

And a dunce would realize this as well; your mentality is the same mentality mo.rons have used to drag the country down for over half a century. Making it sound like your warped mentality started during Buhari's reign is just plain stupidity.

I wonder why most Nigerians don't think like you. What a wonderful analysis. The moment he was overthrown Nigeria became the best country in the world. Everything was just wonderful. Good roads, top class education, 24 hours power supply, every single graduate had jobs, crime was non existent, etc. This was up to when he won the election again. Now everything has gone down the tubes.

And people wonder why Nigeria is going down the tubes. The above comment is one of the reasons. A German will say; I am German first but from Grafenwoehr. An American will say; I am an American first but from Illinois. A Nigerian will tell you; I am Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Ijaw, etc, first but from Nigeria. See the difference. In normal societies the country comes first before where you were born. In Nigeria it is the reverse. I wonder how it's people expect to work together to build a nation? What a country.

Career › Re: Boss Serves Me A Query For Late Coming After We Both Spent The Night Out by Bollinger(m):
kekakuz:
last night was amazing @ a bubbling club in Abuja with my boss. she is tall robust and in her late 20s. I meet her at a social event where we shared contact and she help me get a job in her office. she not only help me get a job but back dated my employment letter and I resumed promoted.
all her kind gestures towards me made me develop a sense of indebtedness to her but have never been able to pay her back except that I make sure she never runs out of data on her phone.
on Thursday she I received a pm from her asking me if I had plans for Friday night. truth be told I don't have anyplans so I told her no. she said she would pick me up later at night.
I knew she needed a companion to one of her many events and don't want her friends to know she is a loner. so I saw it as an opportunity to give back to her

about 4pm as we approach close of business on Friday , a general mail was sent that we would be coming for Saturday duties and default is equal to suspension.

after the mail I felt we probably would not be going out anymore since there is work. she came by my office and drop her car key and told me to pick her and her friends up by 10pm. she picked a drop and left.
at exactly 10:05 I reached her estate and picked her and 2 of her friends as we head to wuse 2.
we went to have dinner and she slipped her ATM in my hand and whispered the code in my ears.

I paid like a boss and we went straight to wine bar not far away. we ordered drinks and she held on to me as if we have been dating for years. she occasionally kiss me on the cheek. I was being careful not to drink too much because am driving and I don't drink much. so I mixed my jack Daniels with coke. thereafter we drove to a club nearby. their blood alcohol was already above the legal limit. the three of them danced like crazy I just stayed calm forming boss in the VIP section. whenever her two friends come close to me, she jumps in the middle like she was jealous. we danced till about two am when I decided its time to go. they were so drunk if not for the help of the security who helped me bring them inside the car, I drove back into the estate and her two friends came down but she was fast asleep. I carried her inside and lay her gently on the bed. she held me and whisper in my ears stay with me tonight. I knew she was drunk and not in her right mind. I tuck her in her bed
spread and kissed her good night and dropped her car key beside her to enable her get to the office in the morning.

I took a drop home and sleep off immediately. I woke up 7:30 and was running late. I quickly prepared for work but got to the office 30min late. everyone was on time except me. I logged into my mail and saw a query from my boss.
at first I felt it was a kind of cover up eye service but she copies disciplinary and regional head in the mail that unroll 10am to reply why I came late and should not be suspended .
I immediately sent her PMs but she replied none. so I replied the query saying I took my sick sister to a vigil for healing and I over slept after the vigil.
she sent another mail instantly that she recommend that I be suspended for a week without pay with immediate effect.

seriously I was confused because I can't believe it was the same person I spent whole lastnight with.
I picked my bag and just went back home wondering if I was dreaming.
There is something seriously wrong with your organization and by the comments on this thread, there is something seriously wrong with Nigerians if you do not see a problem with fraternization. The policy of fraternization exists in a company so that everyone acts professionally on, and off work. If that policy was in place in your company, you would not have the problem you have now. If it were my organization this had happened, your boss would be gone and you would still be on suspension with a letter of reprimand on record and in your file.

Take for instance MTN that outsourced their customer care service to ISON BPO

What does Mtn stand to gain? Why suffer agents who work under the contract? MTN must have paid ISON BPO for the contract, ISON PBO pay CCR between 35k to 45k per month which is too poor...extremely poor with no bonuses like recharge cards, devices etc. Graduates get to do this job because of the employment situation in the country. CCR work for 9 hours with 5 seconds interval between the last call and the incoming call, can you imagine as agents get to talk for an average of 5 hours pee shift non stop!!!!! Agents are expected to attend to 200 customers per day and agents must raise requests for each call. This is crazy. Agents are not allowed to use their phones and even to use the restroom is forbidin as agents are usually attacked when they make use of the restroom with the new software in the company known as Avaya!!. It is pathetic. Really pathetic. I'm sure when you check the amount of money Mtn must have spent per agent, it must be more than what ISON BPO pays to each CCR! Now, why outsource the service?
Why can't Mtn employ these CCR, pay them above the ridiculous amount the company (ISON BPO) pay these staff?
Why work when you can't use the salary to even maintain a decent home? Why work when salary cant even allow you to start up a family after spending years and money in school?/We are talking about graduates here? Is it that companies like MTN run away from paying workers bonuses? They can still employ these workers and pay them high and avoid bonuses and develop another term for them instead of outsourcing the service to contract companies who exploit these citizens of ours and pay them ridiculous salaries! It is completely unfair. People work from month to month and do nothing with the salary. You can imagine earning between 35k to 45k per month as a graduate in this economy of ours!
When next you call Mtn customer care centre, please empathise with that agent speaking with you because he/she is suffering and not happy. As a CCR, your eyes, ears, back bones etc will suffer badly! They can't use their phone except during break time (30 minutes, 15 minutes and 15 minutes), to use the restroom is almost an evil as you get to be shouted at!!
It is really a pathetic place to work! I still need to understand why companies outsource their services as contract staff get to suffer. This our country have really suffered most of us!
It's a free economy bro. If you want to change it ask your senator to sponsor a bill to stop outsourcing. Until then, MTN is not doing anything illegal. Almost every company around the world does it. It's unfair, I get it, but it is not illegal.

The quest for religion has made Nigerians lazy and insane. Instead of looking to themselves to solve the most basic of issues they turn their heads upwards or fall to their knees as the case may be. I believe in God, but i also believe that considering the various interpretation the bible has had over the centuries, a lot of things have been misrepresented and twisted to suit humanity. The worst thing you can do is to dilute information. It corrupts communication. A man refuses to go for medical check up on a regular basis and, or knows that he has an ailment that could be treated in a medical facility. He does nothing and dies because of it and people have the nerve to ask "God, why?". Why indeed. Another one? Nigerians keep asking, "God why do we have leaders like these"? Em, because you all keep voting for the same kind of leaders. I don't think i've ever seen God's registration and voters card. Common sense is not so common.
