Here comes the caveat, this woman despite being a very vocal champion of "African culture" is an open homosexual. A lesbian with a married Nigerian female partner. A phenomenon which is looked upon as largely " unafrican". But this doesn't stop her from championing the African cause which is why I'm curious as to your views, seeing as you're also irreligious but largely afrocentric.
That's a very weird misconception I have seen a lot of time. Homosexuality was prevalent amongst certain African tribes before the coming of Eastern religion to Africa. Another misconception I see is Africans always saying dressing indecently or dressing in revealing clothing is not an African culture when Africans through out history have always worn little clothing due to the hot climates in the region.

What does 'dog' mean to you?

What does 'God' mean to you?

Answer this question and we proceed.
You already have a clear definition of who and what your God is in your religious text. Follow it and proof his existence with that.

Are you willing to engage?

Here are the premises. The first one is...

1. Asking for proofs means you must also accept in its reality. For example, if you ask me to prove that I have a dog, it means you already assume that there's something real as dog. Asking me to prove the existence of God should be on the assumption that God is a reality or possibility. That is it has the potential to exist. So by using the word 'god' it should mean something to you. I hope you get my point?

I will give the second one if you accept the first rule of engagement

2. Loading ...
No it means simply proof you have a Dog. It's not different from me telling you I can fly like superman and you asking for proof. Stop trying to create a soft landing for your argument.

Culture is only as relevant to the degree of progress the society that harbors it has achieved, and the more advanced the society, the better the values it has. Western culture stands at the top because the West is the most advanced society on Earth. Once upon a time western civilization found slavery acceptable. Once technological progress was enough that it rendered slave labor obsolete, slavery was ditched, and as a result a new set of cultural values was introduced: suddenly it was no longer moral to enslave people because there were better alternatives offered by technology and right now we are experiencing a similar situation about using animals as a food source, in the future it would probably be barbaric to kill animals for food. Certain places in Asia and South America embraced Western culture and successfully integrated it with their own. Africa did the same thing to a lesser Degree.

Geestenjay, your grouse with me seems to stem either from a misunderstanding of my position or a display of selective bias on African history and past.

You are angry with me for calling African history barbaric, and maybe you think that in me calling African history barbaric, I also look favorably at European history or other regions history.

OR you yourself want to look at other people's history as very terrible and African history as a good thing.
Except, the simple truth is that the human race evolved from simple minded barbarity. No empire of the past came through without violent bloodshed and innumerable atrocities by modern day standards.

2000 years ago, African empires constantly battled themselves for supremacy, subjugation and expansion. Not even foreigners but sometimes, tribesmen against neighboring tribes tribesmen. One Yoruba village against another Yoruba village, one Igbo vs another igbo town. Anioma vs aniocha battle is a tale told till today where kinds sacrificed their own women to gain an upper hand.

Then talking about African cultural practices, you see the most ignorant and barbarity of the barbarics.

Legalized institutionalized incest. Where if a father of a household died, the son could inherit his own mother as a wife.

Mass murdering of babies; where innocent twins were slaughtered in their numbers.

Mass murdering of albinos; where albinos were slaughtered at birth.

Needless murdering of virgins when a king died.

Now mind you, some of these practices were not indigenous to only Africans, as I said earlier, our modern civilization grew from absolute carnage and barbarity. But for you to always point out that the atrocities of the western world and then sieve out that of your own ancestors or get violently angry when it is pointed out shows your hypocrisy or selective bias thereof.
Stop wasting your time. He doesn't know how to read and understand. He just runs with a narrative and keeps shouting with it calling you names along the way.

Every race regardless of geography has practiced some form of human slavery whether purporting to assert dominance or dispensing justice at some point in time, somehow, it is a product of human nature not religion. Africans are not the only race to be enslaved. Before they were advanced, Europeans were enslaved and sold in markets like cattle by the Romans and latter by the Arabs for domestic use, Arabs enslaved Africans too. We can go as far back as the first known civilizations and find there is something we can define as 'slavery' in practice. Even before the Abrahamic religion Slavery was practiced on the African continent long before even western civilization emerged regardless of what 'kind' of 'slavery' you philosophize about, same can be said for the rest of the world, It's human nature.

Niger Delta regions just dey play. Seems they don't know the amount of power they have in Nigeria.
Normally the oil producing states should have been the feather in cap for Nigeria. If you look at the American states of Texas, Alaska, Louisiana, and California, their growth was fueled in part or largely by oil. The cities of Houston and Dallas were built on oil money, and so was the state of Alaska. A state rich in Oil is supposed to be booming, I mean look at common Dubai. The oil producing areas of Nigeria should have been the catalyst of the industrial revolution in Nigeria. They should have been home to numerous industries such as pharmaceutical (Aspirin uses petroleum), cosmetic oils and greases, Industrial oils and greases, plastics resins synthetic fibers, industrial and domestic detergents, chemical fertilizers, and a host of other industries that depend on crude oil for raw materials. So much possibilities wasted.

A001:
Then, why are you spreading misinformation?

A unipolar world controlled by the West is harmful and dangerous to Africa.

A multipolar world is in the best interest of Africans, and it's important that countries in the East like Russia and China keep opposing the hegemony of the West.

If not, what happened to the natives of America will be child's play if the West, especially the UK and the US, is allowed to gain power over the whole world: You can say goodbye to Africa as you know it.

It's sad that most Africans don't know the horrors of slavery and colonialism by GB, France, Portugal, Belgium.

This topic isn't given enough attention in this part of the world, and most Africans don't think deeply.

Because most Africans only read books of history (books of lies) written by Western authors, they don't learn true history of colonialization and slavery and how the colonial masters and slave masters committed acts of genocides in parts of Africa and India and other unspeakable things.

Because most Africans don't know this history, it will be easier to recolonize Africa in the future. And many Africans are even calling for recolonizaton because they don't know the horrors of colonization and slavery.

If most Africans know these facts about the West, some would have done worse than Prof Uju when she made her brave remarks about the death of Queen Elizabeth.

As a true African, you can't know how colonial masters and slave masters from these Western countries committed acts of genocide, forced labor in Africa, torturing Africans in enslavement camps, how the Britons massacred the native Americans and took over their land to form today's US, and you'll still be taking sides with the West in this Russian-Ukrainian war.

The West did much worse to their colonies in Africa and India than Russia and are not repentant for their evil actions.
This is not unique to the West history and those times are gone. How did you think the Oyo, Benin and other Great African empire came about. They invaded other villages or region, killed their warriors, took the men/women as slaves, took resources from those communities and claim those conquered land as theirs. I have never seen you condemn your fellow African for these activities but it's the west you are always talking about.

** Was Africans practicing slavery before the Europeans....Yes.

** Was Africans invading Other tribes/ communities and collecting their resources before the Europeans....Yes.

** Was Africans committing Genocide against their fellow black men before the Europeans.......Yes

What ever you are accusing the West of you did to yourselves.

We play the ball forward very quickly looking for transition and that has nothing to do with the personnels in midfield. It comes from the coach instructions and any team is going to struggle to retain possession when you play like that. I'm not convinced we want to be a possession based team by the way we play. Banning Guns in America like Uk is never going to happen. America is a nation of smaller countries (states) that have the ability to tell the federal government to fuc..k off. It's not like a european country where a single body makes all the laws and therefore all law enforcement is subject to that single body. This makes implementation of these laws much easier.

In America there is the split between federal and state enforcement, and as you see states can more or less decide for themselves what they wish to do. So on a national level you will never have what you want, and in a state to state level, well this adds fuel to the fire as laws in one state mean shi..t in another, so ultimately you have states where one legally buys firearms, is legally registered nationally, goes to another state, and then suddenly influx of firearms which is perfectly legal. Like I said only changes in the culture will make less people want guns.

@bolded...Mourinho took Spurs to a Cup final and would have won it if he coached that final.

Pochettino was dragging league with Leicester in 2015 and ended up 3rd. Who does that if not a bottler? On paper, that Spurs team vs their Leicester counterpart, who was better? Are we going to talk about the UCL that Poch went on a brilliant run to the final only to bottle it? Maybe you don't know of the EFL cup meeting against West Ham in 2017 where Spurs have a good chance of going all the way to maybe win it. Leading 2-0 first half on to come crashing down at full time 2-3 in their home. In 2018 FA cup semi final against Man United, Pochettino and his Spurs side was leading 1-0 comfortably only to suddenly caputilate in 2nd half and lose 1-2.... I can go on and on.

There is a reason why Poch and Spurs is called bottlers. I didn't invent the tag.
Mourinho didn't win anything. No shoulda or woulda here. None of what you typed makes pochettino a bottler. Absolutely nothing and they didn't bottle anything to Leicester. its absolute nonsense to say Mauricio Pochettino's side 'bottled' something they never had a chance or were even considered favourites of winning at any time. Pochettino over achieved at Tottenham. Why Is the serial winner Conte not winning anything at Tottenham and is getting chased away?

With due respect, your question is a stupid one (no insults please).

Why didn't Seu.n put an unlike button on his website? You will have to ask him for a vivid explanation and not me.

I have already told you that it's the decision of the creator. All I can say about that decision is that it is the source of your wonder. That wonder makes God God. If life was so common, people like you will say it is nature, or chemistry or biology. I will say the same too. But because it is not, we bow our heads in awe.

It's the same reason diamonds are carbon compounds with exactly the same chemistry with charcoal. Yet there is no comparison with their value. This is the reason I believe in a creator.
* Your explanation is not plausible. It's make believe and Cop-out to defend your so called Creator/designer.

* Your post actually points to a real problem. The concept of your Creator is so mutable that it can provide any ex-post facto reasoning for any scenario, because God is not well defined. He can remain ill defined because he doesn't actually exist - we never have to ascribe anything real to your Creator because he is never observable.

The very reason it sounds so unreal to you.

It is the state of wonder that makes it His decision. If there was a abundance of life- if there was any trace at all of life, people like you would dismiss his very existence. That's your answer.
There's no answer In what you just replied. Give a vivid explanation why you would think your Creator/designer created a vast universe to only put life in a tiny dot. Am sure even you realize how dumb that is.

Thanks for commenting. Your assertion is based on assumption. Mine is based on probability.

So far from what we have seen from near by stars and indeed galaxies there's no sign of life. In over a billion planetary bodies investigated, there is no single sign of even amoeba. That's earth in over a billion samples of planets. That probability is high. If we go by that, the chances of finding life any where in the universe is as impossible as the chances of finding a particular mustard seed in the sands of all the beaches on the earth put together.

With all our technology, no single sign accross the observable universe. The fact that any alien life has not even contacted us speaks volumes is another big sign.

Worst still, we will never know because the universe is constantly expanding faster than the speed of light.

The fact that we will never know, has brought us to an inevitable conclusion.
*We know what is needed for life. The elements that make up life on Earth are also, not coincidentally, the most common elements in the universe (Hydrogen, Carbon, Oxygen. it's not a question of if other life exist in the universe but when we discover them. It's far more likely that human technology is too primitive to see very far into space.

*We have only explored 9 planets up to date and only three we have landed in.

*There are thousands of exoplanets we have discovered which we feel comfortable can’t support life due to their makeup or proximity to a star and there are also many that we feel COULD support life. But we have no idea if they do until we send someone there. The problem is they are too far away and our technology is not developed to that extent yet.

*Why will your Designer/Creater create a massive universe and only put life in a tiny dot of it? Can you give an answer to that.

You are not current.

There's a rover in Mars as we speak. Voyager 1and 2 has toured the entire solar system. Also the JWST you mentioned has the capacity to detect life signatures and forms even in other galaxies.

In a billion solar systems with X10 number of planets, only earth has life. Not even microbes in other planetary systems.

That's a probability of 0.1*10^-10

You call that high?
There are more stars in the Galaxy than grains of sand on the Earth. More Galaxies in the Universe than grains of sand on the Earth.
So you believe your God/creator made Galaxies and Universes of untold and unimaginable size and dropped sentient beings in only a tiny blue dot of it? It is highly improbable that there is no other life in the universe.
