Complete traditional dress with head gear and a very nice perfume will do.

But when you are dressed like a yahoo boy on steering, then you'll be in for a long thing. This is it! Anytime I am traveling interstate, i do dress in a well starched and pressed TRADS!!! With some nice cap, whenever i spot their checkpoints , i merely just change the song in my car to some old school songs and the police men will end up doing “SIR SIR” Without chevking my papers. n3xt: A typical naija man by default would always think cost before benefit?
What this literarily mean is that we believe a 10l capacity water heater at N30k is cheaper than a 100l capacity water heater at N120k.
The first thing we always look at is the price tag.
Most businesses understand this simple naija man mentality and this explains why our market is flooded with satchet drinks and daily need items.
_________
On the other hand, we also consider ownership cost and cost of maintenance/replacement.
__________
Lastly, we live for likes while looking for love.
As the poster above me just shared, “I go dey look you like a spoiler” na him push many people to buy what they don’t need to impress the people they don’t like.
“All room en-suite” “Water heater in all bathroom” “Turkey door in all room” “Gerald or nothing else” “Casement window or better. I’m not doing less ”
I come in peace o. Of most engineers and installers do not know how to work with this, I asked my engineer Two questions 1)Why can’t we use a single Water heater for all the rooms instead of using different ones for over 4 rooms. 2)Instead of using different ACs for parlour, dinning, Rooms, gym/library, office and co (AC already entering like over 10pieces), is it not possible to have a Single AC (I believe this should be possible) that will serve the whole house, we merely need to have control for each room to regulate the temp, i saw such in hotels and when I travelled out. His response? Not possible for a residential apartment |

n3xt: Addressing Mental Health Issues in the Construction Industry
Yesterday, I got a report that a very active worker died in his sleep at a site near mine. This got me worried and I feel I should share this.
Demanding workloads, extremely busy schedules, tight deadlines, long working hours, family demands and pressure, stigmatization, financial issues and concerns are some of the major issues contributing to high levels of stress among workers in the construction industry in Nigeria.
Lately, there has been an increase in cases of people slumping and dying on sites. This is worrisome because young people are more affected now unlike before when it was mainly the old ones.
Construction workers and anyone involved in construction projects needs to be mindful of their health, as prevention is better than cure. They should regularly conduct medical evaluation to manage their health.
Construction manager must have a clear duty of care toward their workers to provide a working environment that is not detrimental to the mental health of their workers.
Beyond having a safe working environment, project managers should create an assistance program that can help their workers with a variety of issues, ranging from health problems to financial challenges, that could cause them stress and worry and thus lead to lower productivity, absenteeism, increased mental health issues and untimely death.
I recently walked away from a project because of lack of respect for best practices and schedule. The client would rather have workers work till they breakdown by barking them down. The culture at NextHome doesn’t allow incidents of bullying and harassments at construction sites from anyone (client, supervisors, artisans or labourers). We treat everyone with equal respect.
As a matter of fact, my workers earn more than my supervisors and they know it.
I value my mental health and that of my workers and I always do my best to support and point them in the right direction whenever we detect anyone who needs mental support. I also maintain construction managers and supervisors who do nothing on site other than provide me with need-to-know information on every worker. They've been trained to identify early signs of mental health problems and learn to listen to employees who need to talk. They listen to every complaints and advice me on the tools to invest in to make work easier and reduce stress on site.
It wasn’t hard for my last client to say “You work with these guys like they’re your family.”
Once again, I’d encourage us to pay more attention to the health of our employees. Thanks for this Chief |

sunbreaker: open their page and register with your e-mail address( this served as an account with them). You will see a lot of cars, though the price joined with nigeria custom fee almost equal to the one you buy from dealer. The only visible advantage is you select a low mileage, less accidental damage and nobody will dupe you. More over, all your transaction is in dollar so you have to change your money to dollar and transfer to them with stipulated period after you had won the bid. Again, you have to fund your account with 1000 dollar before you can participate in any bid, this will be removed if you won the bid .I.e you just pay the remaining balance What’s the site address |
