The more complicated POP ceiling becomes, the more it looses appeal to me. This is my own position. Everybody has his own taste.

Do you have a building|planning permit?
Were you building to specifications?
Is your survey plan free from acquisition?

We have the survey and everything
1)Some team came for testing during the building and they certified the building strong/okay.

But we are didn’t process the building approval (lol, i really couldn’t remember why we forgot), so we came to the site one day and we saw those red marks on the fence, something like we should come for approval or something (I can’t recollect because it was last year), coincidentally, it fell during the period where we were about taking a break from the whole projevt.

When we resume, we will process thr approval and all.

My build omonile wanted to supply all the materials at the beginning of my project, despite paying them their foundation money. It took military action to get them out. Subsequently I paid them their decking and Roofing money even before they asked for it. I did patronize one of their oga selling blocks just to get him on my side against unknown gunmen omonile.

Those guys are just very difficult, who knows, maybe burying Dog at the site can chase them away.

Count yourself lucky If you were able to build a house without omo onile problem, we had no issue with omo onile, we merely paid the estate of 50k and that’s all.

My engineer got another project and that’s when we understood the grace we enjoyed on previous sites.
1)Taking building materials to the street: Omo onile will charge per trip
2)Foundation: Omo onile will charge
3)Decking: Charge
4)Roofing: Charge

And co.

This won’t still stop these guys from stopping randomly to ask for urgent 3k for beers.

Update on the wind turbine as complementary source of power as promised: it's a big flop.
The blades doesn't move for most of the time and the voltage supplied is too low to charge the battery even though it's high up on the roof with no building higher than it.
Best to double the solar panels or the battery more than the normal specification than to opt for the wind system.
The wind would need to be very high to generate significant voltage to charge the battery.

Unless you’re living on the hill,mountain of you have a three storey building with the turbine placed on the roof, the turbine might not work.

You’ve always had the intention to deal with twin, initially, i begged you to drop the borehole guy details so i can work on it but you dropped it like “Twinskenny Fraudster Borehole”, na there i lose interest in the whole case.

You wanted 100k refund, twinskenny offered 50k, spyder gave 20k, somehow offered 10k and we all know twins already spent 20k on tracking

I am not privy to the the borehole situation here and I didn't go back to read the whole back and forth but one thing I want to remind us is for us to be careful when dealing with anyone, whatever you do in life, be honest, don't feel you are a "fast guy" or a "sharp guy" and can do a shiťty job for someone to take their money or refuse to pay a contractor when you are supposed to pay them.

Be careful out there, like I keep telling people and we all laugh at it.. people pull their shirt, risky their lives to fight over N100 change from a conductor or bike man etc.. what can't they do when you swindle them the amount of money I see here ??

Diesel is almost 300 for god sake , transfer dollar is about 520 now and still not readily available , inflation is running at 17 % , port congestion is there . this are some of the issues confronting manufacturers and importers , Commodity prices are also rising worldwide, copper , steel etc , freight from india , china are at record high . 40 feet from china was about 5k dollars a year ago , it’s about 14k now

I use about 2k liters of diesel daily for my operation and you don’t expect me to increase prices with all I stated above .

Prices are rising simply because of inflation , devaluation and more adverse business conditions . I do agree however that some are taking advantage ,oligopoly in the cement industry has been there for a long time, dint start in the last 5 years

When the issue of taking the borehole contractor to the police was raised, I just laugh. Police

I remember helping someone here to track down a debtor who ran away with his N15m.
The shocking part was that we were the one who end up giving money to feed the guy and get him a bail when police got him arrested.

A supplier here is owing me some money, I’ve completely forgotten about it and I’ve given him even bigger jobs.

I’m very quick to forgive, forget and move on with my life. It’s far cheaper for me than taking medications or having people organize pity parties for me.

When some of us move on, it is not because we are weak but because we’ve been down that path and we know the resources and effort will probably not amount to anything.

Just we wasting extra money to get someone that won’t still end up paying the debt.

From police collecting money to track down debtor, To police charging for mobilization, to police not being able to detain more than 48hrs, to lawyer accepting money to charge the case to court, to we waiting forever for court to appoint us a date, bavk and forth.

I am now more careful with my resources and more careful with whosoever i sign deals with or give jobs to avoid this heartache
