theadeola: If you're in Ibadan, I can help you get either Mannol 0W 20/5W 20, or Yuko 0W 20/5W 20.
For our weather here, there's no difference between 0W 20 and 5W 20, as they are both 20 weight oils and have the same temperature range.
If you're not in Ibadan but are still interested, I can arrange for it to be shipped to you. Just let me know what you decide. How much? And can I still change to it since I already used 20w? |

theadeola: The recommended oil for your car is 0W 20 or 5W 20. Please Google it to confirm. No modern car has 20W 50 as recommended oil. None! 0W 20 is the recommended oil for my car too, where can I get it in Nigeria? Total and Mobil all have only 20W ish |

fineboynl: The bad road in the state is nothing to write home about. Not to talk of other bad road that load to my house. washing your car this rain season is a waste of time and effort.
The worst part is my bumper and exhaust.
Was considering lifting the car up it it will affect the balance. I lifted mine, they merely need to add some rubbers to the shock absorber springs and I've been enjoying it since then. |

SurveyorGeo: What documents do you have on the land? And what documents do they have? What is the size of the land they claim? Land use act 1978 vests all land in the state. For info call 08069018449 They didn't tender the document they have, they merely specified in the court summon letter that they have the survey they did in 1990 and the stamp duty to back up for the fact, and the agreement with the seller (Let's use MR A as the seller). The person we got it from bought thr land from the true land owners, the actual family (those that owns the whole village)/as far back as 20years ago and they also have the survey, agreement and co to back it up. After MR A died, MR A's family and lawyer said the whole area belongs to their father and that people should repurchase the land or risk losing it. So the people we bought it from paid another money for the land to late Mr. A's family. So that's it. |

SurveyorLAS: You might need to approach court to settle the matter however you need to be sure that you bought the land from right source and your survey is correct as well has having authentic documents. If you can have access to other party survey plan I can assist to check if the survey fall in same land and whose plan is likely to be correct with respect to the land Yes, they merely dropped the Survey number. And the person we got the land from has been in possession of the land for as long as 20years. Even bought the land twice |

sonnie10: I believe there is a way to trace land documents and the transfer of those documents from when the survey was done and gazette done. This could be carried out at alausa if it’s Lagos. Any land with a gap in the chain of transfer is suspicious. The 1976 claim could be before the survey. However, their period to protest might have elapsed because land gazette is always made public and a time frame to contest it is always provided. It's in Ogun state. I actually became so weak because I've invested several millions of the land even though the land worth tens of millions. How do you suddenly show up that your father owns the land since 1977? After I've opened up the said area? |
Properties › Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by Born2conquer: 9:03pm On Jun 15, 2023 |
We bought a land in 2020 with the necessary documents, only for some people to come last month to say the land belong to their father because he bought it in 1976.
How can the same land have different land surveys?
I just weak since. |

Romance › Re: Share Your Experience Dating A Career Lady by Born2conquer: 11:08am On May 27, 2023 |
The only way you can date a career lady is if you have a career also, that way, you both can be mutually busy and understanding. I have been with career ladies and the frustration of getting ghosted will be there. I am not into any corporate work so most of the time, I do have a lotttttt of free time and I like conversing with my girls often but you see career ladies? You fit send hi in the morning make she reply in the evening "I am sorry, been busy, work stressful" "Babe, I won't be able to come this week" "Babe, a brief came in, I will be busy" And in the night, she has to sleep early because she needs to wake up early But if you're both working, lol, you will build a healthy relationship |

otipoju: I understand what you are saying totally.
But when you leave home and return...you really want to see childhood friends, go to your childhood church and stuff like that.
Nigeria was not like this 10 years ago. Now you have ritual killings, kidnapping for Ransom, herdsmen wahala, street cult killings and a lot of desperate people who will do anything for money.
Better safe than sorry men. For those kind of people, dress casually and that's all. You need to build friends and networks that can match up to your caliber now though |
Family › Re: Do You Make Someone Your Enemy When You Are Generous To Them ? by Born2conquer: 9:23am On May 12, 2023 |
otipoju: When I visited my mum, she was upset and asked why I was dressing like that and not like a diasporan...I told her you don't know what Nigeria has become. I even book like 3 hotels staying in one for not more than a week...so the receptionists don get too familiar. One told me the quality of the simple t-shirt I wore gave me away.
I grew up knowing the streets and I still stay current My driver was frustrated one day and said why don't I go out in the night to enjoy life like other people. I sey were want make I drink and dey vulnerable and easier to kidnap.
Many Nigerians are devil incarnate. Once I finish wetin dey carry me come...I won't visit for a very very long time. Life no too hard like that though, if you can't enjoy life in Nigeria, where can you na enjoy it? There are several locations, lounges, restaurants that are strictly meant for Rich men, nobody will even look at you twice if you go to such locations. Dress simple but don't dress haggard. If you allow fear to override you, you will think everybody out there is trying to kill you when in the actual sense, everybody is minding their own business. The KEY, Move and stay with things on your calibre. -Lodge in hotels of high class, the staff won't harass you because they're well paid. -Eat in restaurants for high class, you will have your privacy and also meet other rich men as you. -Attend rich men church, and you will even feel down with doings that would oppress you. -Go to lounges that would humble you, there is a lounge on the island that is only accessible by yatch, steamboat Nigeria SWEETTTT |

PrinceLat: As funny as what I'm about to say sounds, this is what I did, in 2021, this same notice was placed on my building, I'd just finished plastering, they even painted my building with the red paint...... STOP WORK.
I was worried, cos I'd just finished the last money i budgeted for the plastering, and nothing in bank talk less of cash, i didn't touch the paper they pasted on my wall.
Because of no cash, i didn't go to site for like 8 months, a year later i moved in, and nobody has come to knock on my door for anything.
But it's in my plan to do something in the future. Thank you, it's really not easy. We budgeted like 3M for the shops but at at now, we've spent as much as 4.5M on it. I really wish the government can make approval, CofO, stamp and co to be less expensive maybe that will encourage more people to get them. The money needed to Get CofO, approval, survey, and co today is almost enough to finish a standard 3 bedroom bungalow. For people that get occasional loans to finish their projects, it's always hard for such people to budget for those levies. But yeah, we are already working towards solving it. Thanks, chief for your contribution |

Abudu2000: see eh for even starting work without notifying them, I wonder if your bricklayer gave that advice but if it is him then take him along with you to the office so that when you start paying penalties he can share your pain. You wil spend 1.2m on the minimum but don’t take my word go there first. Did you do a soil test? That is 500k first if it is a storey building. If another scammer officer there still approac you for bribe and you offer him then you are toast. We must rid lagos state of building collapse and bad building practices. You are lucky it is not eti osa your body for tell you. It's just a few block of shops built along an already built fence. The shops was built to secure the land. The land was vacant for a while and some people were already trying to lay claim to the land. We needed to build the shops without crossing the fence line to secure the property. And it's not in lagos but thanks chief, we will work on it and do the needful |

Abudu2000: and i hope that building conforms to all building laws or else you go pay tire. Ogun state is even worse than lagos state on building matters.
Start by getting another architectural drawing with exactly what is on ground then get your taxe clearance ready. Yes, we didn't encroach and we left enough space between us and the main road |
