I saw Economist in the CSOL category. It fits my field of study. What do you think?
Do I have a good chance of getting a positive assessment from VETASSESS, considering the fact that I spent 3 years in school?

Poultry Farmer is only available on the 489 list for now.

Presently work as a supervisor in a poultry Farm/hatchery,so basically all the activities relating to poultry,from designation of duties to subordinate and workers, training on production practises and records,feeding and its composition and biosecurity and disease mgt.
Funaab,yes its 5yrs.course; Agricecons. Don't understand what you mean by practical component.

And I can see VETASSESS is the assessing body of my occupation. How do I get state/regional nomination

You need to go through the csol and choose an occipation that fits you.

Can i carry Yam, Egusi, Ogbono, Afang(this is dried vegetable though), banga, pepper soup spices(which includes ginger ofcourse), dried grounded crayfish(its animal product though its seafood) into Oz?

On their customs site below it says ginger not allowed then vegetables too (on the picture there is pepper there)

I brought peppersoup spice along...no problem. I'm pretty sure all the foodstuff you listed above will be fine. Just package them in a clear bag and label them (english and scientific names if possible).

I dom't know if too much lemon affects the womb...but no one I know as complained of any side effects.

My husband co-worker(they are both doctors) told him that there's a one in all vaccine now that a baby can take(cough,measles,chicken pox,typhoid and other related ailments).. He said he knew of NNPC hospital in Port Harcourt that gives it out.
So we've decided to take our baby there on our next trip to the south south

I wouldn't take any vaccine that isn't prescribed by WHO. I live abroad, and that type of vaccine is not even available here....so it might be that the hosp is just mixing their own.

Pls be careful.

I hav an immi account....that's where you fill,pay for visa and submit. You can only upload docs when ur application is sayin in progress (dats after paying n submitting), mine was sayin application received by d time I got baq to upload my docs; so the upload tabs r inactive

Is that the new system now? Up until recently, you could upload docs regardless of the status.

My 2 kids had this when they were younger. I didn't do anything about it, and it cleared on it's own.

Thanks Ferdi,I haven't uploaded any docs....haven't done my medicals too.@pingku, I guess fatayi administers poli vaccine. You are given a note with which you can go to Fed Ministry of health to get your authentic yellow card...you might be required to take other vaccination before the yellow card is issued. This is what I think,someone with more authentic info can counter it.

You are to attach docs via immi account, not via skill select.

Pretty sure it would have asked if you had an immi account already or would like to create one.

It depends, cos we the CSOL includes the SOL.

Basically, If you are going for a 189, the occupation has to be on the SOL, alongside yours.

If you are going for a 190, it has to be on the CSOL

What I'm not sure about is if it has to be available on the same state list as the one sponsoring your 190. But as for the above details, they are very correct.

Whatever you do, ensure her occupation is on the same list as yours. Really crucial.

It pained me oo...cos it was one stupid Agric Biology course like that...finally passed it in my extra after 3 attempts. Got 40 on the dot hehe Whew! They had to split the course into 3 at the end of the day.

That's the hurdle I m trying to cross now. I am also looking at svp programmes too but from previous information, I heard regional areas is good for students for PR paths.

Yea it is. It gives you additional points on the points table, and some states have a nomination scheme for international graduates.

If you want to use it as a pathway to PR, you need to do a course that lasts 2 yrs...most Tafe courses are 18mths...so you might need to combine with another course.
