Is it every one that gets a tax refund? On the ATO website, I can only see deductions for study or work related expenses. Can you shed any light on this? |

shndy: Its a niece of mine, she suddenly fell down inside brt and was rushed to the hospital, this was last week. She was treated n discharged, just on Saturday again she started convulsing, she's still in the hospital now on oxygen. So some old women thr was saying it's Ile tutu say the mama shd Av done the agbo for her since little so as to prevent this from happening. Av bn trying to even find the oyinbo name of d Ile tutu so as to know more about it but seems nobody knows. Your niece has a medical condition, and it's not related to any ile tutu or it's literal meaning - Cold Ground. Although I have heard of such before. Pls dont go around looking for any agbo to give your baby o. No ile tutu agbo was given to me, my sibling, husband, his siblings....yet we are alive and well. |

Dont try it. DIBP will request more evidence to backup your claim....and there is no way around it. Except your salary was below the tax threshold...which it most likely isn't. |

Bank statements wi do just fine. Bank statements and/or tax docs are more credible than reference letters or payslips, in the eyes of DIBP.] |

mrsdee: Thanks manmeta and bossladyMo........I will be exactly 5years with company C on 30th june and I don't really mind using only that. I intend submitting eoi on 1st july. I was paid during nysc and like I stated before, the acct was closed some time back and I had to start applying for the printing of the statement. my worry is that since all the experiences were accepted during assessment , won't it be somehow if I decide to leave out some in visa application Stage. If the company you served in paid you directly to ypur bank account, then you can use that. But if it is the NYSC allawi you are talking about, then you need your primary assignment letter, stating you were posted to work in that company...cos it is NYSC allawi that will come up on your bank statement. OR You can chill a bit, and clock 5yrs and 1month, then submit your EOI with just company C. Whatever it is, the evidence for Company b is not enough. And taking into consideration the fact that the Company B experience helps boost your points, the CO will want enough evidence. It is not somehow excluding work experience. DIBP understands people do that for various reasons. |

RashMe: thanks ma. d thing is she can sleep for 3hrs or more during d day without waking to feed but at night, she wakes up almost every 2hrs. another thing I notice is DAT she sleeps deeper and longer at night when I lay her on my chest. but I usually have waist pain in d morning........ sorry for my rants Then you have to adjust her cycle as I said earlier. Babies sleep longer when they are being held. During my time, what I did was express bm, and feed baby from a bottle. My son always ate more from the bottle...which in turn, knocks him out. That method, coupled with switching activity level, helped adjust him. |

mrsdee: I want to claim the 7 years and 4 months which gives 10 points. I dont mind removing exp of company A or B if the above documents are not enough proof. Tax deduction is evident on my pay slip for company C. If you dont have bank statements/tax docs for company B, I would advise you take it off. Just salary certificate is not enough. The CO will definitely ask for more evidence. Will it affect your points if you take it off? Also, for company C, is it approximately 5yrs or over 5yrs? If it is over 5yrs, you can claim 10pts with just that company experience. For the NYSC year, did the company pay you at all? |

RashMe: am FTM, i dont really mean she should sleep all thru d night. She usually wakes up at least 4-5 times and she falls back asleep as soon as i breastfeed her. I just dont like dis long break of no sleep at all Eh ya! Pele. What you can do is be less active at night, and more active during the day. Sooner or Later, her brain is going to notice the difference and adjust. |

But you will have to expose his body and let him spend a long time in the sun, for him to get the adequate amount. That's why giving him Vit D in a medicinal form is much easier. Cod Liver Oil is very good. Combine that with the playing in the sun....then see the Ortho also. |

RashMe: Pls mamas, what can i do to make my baby(a month old) sleep thru d night Been up since 12:45am and she is yet to sleep at 3:36am. She isnt crying and isnt showing any sign of discomfort. Am really getting tired of dis vigilante, dis is d 3rd time dis week. Are you a joker? 1 mth old baby sleep through the night? Number 1- Their tummies cant hold enough food that will last them through the night. So they will definitely wake up. Number 2 - They dont have established sleep cycles yet. Your mum did the same for you too. That is why mothers are advised to sleep when baby sleeps. It's just 1 month, and you are already complaining. You sef wont want your less than 3 month old to sleep through the night, cos it's not normal. Pele! That's motherhood for you. Guess you are a first time mum. |

mrsdee: Hello house,
I need your help. I have the underlisted document as proof of my work experience in 3 companies. I need to know if they are sufficient for each of the companies or if I should remove any experience due to inadequate proof.
Company A (1yr) reference letter nysc certificate closed bank account statement
Company B (1 yr 4 months) appointment letter salary certificate ( payment in cash) reference letter relieving letter
Company C ( 5yrs) appt letter reference letter confirmation letter promotion letter payslip bank statement
Cc. BossladyMo, bellong, manmeta, futuredon, ferdimako How many years of experience are you claiming. The documents you listed are okay. You can also choose to add tax docs if you want. |

ferdimako: I don't think they score it on the spot. I believe examiners are different from raters. From what I read online, it is. If you notice, the examiners write some numbers as you speak. It's only recorded cos they mightneed to re-assess if the client requests. |

Was he given Vitamin D alongside the Calcium? Cos the main reason these bone malformations happen is because of lack of Vit D to help absorb the Calcium. That's why Cod Liver Oil is very good in toddlers.
But in this your case, I would adviae you go ahead with seeing the Ortho Doctor. Pls dont listen to anyone saying it will straighten on its own at this age. Get a professional to look at things cos it just might not turn out like yours did.
If you can starta fresh course of antibiotics, after doing a sensitivity test and blocking the ears while bathing, there is a chance that might just work. |
