@Miraclemum. Not all cjeap diapers leak. Nigerian pampers is d only I av used dat leaks and causes rash. I av never repeated it again. Drylove, st. Charles and princes and princesses r cheap bt neither leak nor cause rash. D creche use 3 diapers btw 8am - 4pm. Huggies don't soak easily and @ 10k for each carton for a couple of months I figure its way to expensive. Of cos we r all different wt d siezes of our paychecks.

Ear infection (Otitis Media). My baby had it at 2 weeks...it was a scary experience. It is due to their under-developed ear-nose-throat canal, and is the end result of a cold or nasal congestion.

I think I used antibiotics. The doctor prescribed it. A swab of the ear was done, and the most appropriate drug was given. Did they do an ear swab? Also, did you store the antibiotic properly and give him the right dose? Did you also prevent water from touching the ears so it can heal inside properly?

During my time, it was sent on 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Think it has changed now tho...and the invite is emailed to you.

Once I put to bed, and got the passport sorted, I filled a Form 1022 change of circumstances form and uploaded it, then also emailed the details. I then waited 24 hrs, just for formalty, then gave them a ring. The nice Lady added my daughter in a matter of mins, and sent her HapId in an email. Had some issues with the Hapid, so i called back, and it was rectified immediately....and we all did meds together

I have a question please. God willing, we are expecting delivery of a baby in some months time but he/she is likely to be born after our PR is granted but before we land in Australia, if i counting 3 months plus another 60 days after EOI lodging date in July/August 2015

1.How do we obtain a visa for the baby?
2.Do i include one extra defendant in my EOI?

Hold up on your meds till after baby is born. If you are granted before baby is born, you will need to file a child's visa....and that is long tin, especially as it is offshore.

I know someone whose child was born in the US after pr was granted. The boy is here on his US passport, but the parents still need to file a child's visa.

I did my baby's passport 8 days after she was born, and meds was done at 2 weeks of age or so. No biggie. Just tell the CO you need more time because of the pregnancy.

Whatever it is you do, ensure your child is not born in Naija without being a dependent on your visa. If he was born onshore, after PR, he would be a citizen.

And no, you cant add an unborn child qs a dependent. H/she has no name, sex or birth date yet.

I have had 2 kids, and none of them has/had teething issues.Teeth just dey appear....no fever, no stooling.

And I did not use any drug before/during/after.

Pls for mothers who had used teething pain prevention for their los,which is best between teething powder and pican. I want to use for my son because i cant stand the trauma of teething o,he no get weight before so i dont want it to reduce his small weight. My mum said she used teething powder for us and we never gave any problem when teething but she is not sure if its effective as before.

I personally don't subscribe to teething powder usage. Teething itself does not cause issues. Ot's just that when kids are teething, they put anything and everything in their mouth, which in turn causes them to ingest germs, peading to diarrhea/fever etc.

Get him a teething ring, put it in the freezer. That should ease the discomfort. I'm yet to see a legit doctor that will prescribe teething powder.

Before, during each feed she can finish at least 120ml, buh now getting her to take 40ml sef is a battle, she is in a creche during weekdays and her caregiver says she takes d 120ml from her and she finishes it. She takes about 3 bottles of 120ml before I pick her up at four. I know this is true cos iv done so many unannounced visits to d creche and met her feeding my LO, this weekend wen I get to spend the whole tym with my LO,all tru yesterday she only took two bottles and she seemed fine.she ddnt even breastfeed This midnight, I had to carry her and feed her while sleeping. Even at that,it was still a struggle. Pls if there are mothers who have experienced the same thing with their LO. Kindly help me out with suggestions cos it's really wearing me out and I don't want her to lose weight. Thanks in advance

Pneumococcal and Rotavirus are not free in Lag. Some health centres stock it, but you need to pay for it.

I specitycally asked for vit a at the hospital n I was told they no longer give it routinely except during health week when they will go from house to house yet they couldn't tell me when the next health week will hold.

if its just a supplement in capsule form like I've read here can't one buy it from a pharmacy?

It's only done in general hospitals.

I mean jobs in banks, or other financial institutions. But if you are a single guy with no kids, and no intention of furtherinf your education in the next 2 yrs, then it is worth the shot.

Shea butter didn't do good on my son's skin. It gave him a rash. But it works for many people.
