Its getting bad now. I still had to go to the vet office because his condition isnt getting better. He gave him two injection and sum drugs. But what is upsetting me now is my active dog is now limping.
What can i do pls

Eyah sorry I thought its somewhere within reach I can direct you to a vet.
As it s ur dog will need a jab of antibiotic and some multivitamin plus iron.some vets practise with ones dog @ ur own expense.imagine the cheapest syringe he can not have available n volume.
Now that he's limping it might be that he's given him antibotc already,dosage and admnstration really does matter though.
Did he give him the injections today?

Hope he drinks water?if he does add some glucose D to the water.
Your dog should be well as he's not a puppy.

My vet messed up the last time i visited his clinic, i complained about him using the same syringe for every dog that visit his clinic. His response was even people that have bigger and more beautiful dogs dont complain. I just left with my dog and vow not to visit his clinic again

As much as we will like to help,you should also bear in mind that whatever advice you get here might either be helpful or misleading,as the loss of appettite might be caused by some many reasons as he is not a puppy,
You have to elaborate how it started,the symptoms he is showing et al,cos even a good vet Dr will need more info.
The bottomline is,wth cases like this I would advice you come here and enquire on anyone that knows a reliable vet Dr around ur vicinity,as he might require a test .meanwhile if you want 1st aid you have to explain better than just saying ur dog has reduced up to 70%,within how many days,we don't
So seek for a good vet as delay might be dangerous

@ op do you want other attributes with the dog or just something to keep ur kids busy responsibly?.
You have to consider if you need an indoor or outdoor dog,
If u want a guard dog or a toy dog.
If u want a large breed or a small breed.
Then the grooming when considering a hairy dog,are u ready to groom the coat regularly as ur kids cannot do that yet.
State other attributes you want with the dog to find the most suitable for you.

@ world1 I am very much interested in the snail farming,I have a plot opposite my kennel where I see more dan 60 snails sometimes when it rains,though not D large ones but now that I know they can live up to 10yrs,I can see dey re still very young,(note not those small ones,but large enough to say they are the african snail you are refering to.

Someone born in Ajegunle where their drainage is bad would have adapted with the mosquitoes and not even feel their bites no more,and if someone from leicester travels to dat zone in AJ might not be able to survive it.

You can invite the prevous owner over to get her settled in your environment,he should have brought her to your house in the 1st place.

Lol. The dog is trouble some. I don't thin my mom can control him when he gets bigger. He is too stubborn. Last time I came home, as I pushed the front hate open with my luggage, all my clothes, box and hang bag came right dowdown.How I wish I am around to train him.My own dog a GSD is very loyal and highly security conscious. Though german shepherds too are good with babies,their restless nature can pose a problem,not like dem attacking the baby,they can be restless and hurt the baby n the process,but the bullmastiffs are calm,a baby can even sleep on them and they stay calm with the baby,infact they love it that way.though younger bullmastiffs too can be energetic and a bit restless if not well exercised.
Most pics I see where dogs and babies get along very well are mostly of the bullmastiffs.

Had the same issue with my Cane Corso, what i did was to put the leash on him let him run around with it so that he becomes comfortable with it, after that walked him with an Adult dog.

Correct,that's the best way to getting him used to a chain.collar 1st for about 3days then later introduce the chain

There are over 300 breeds of dogs and all has their xteristics,learn to read about the dog you want to adopt,or better still tell the breeder your reasons for needing a dog and let them recommend the best breed for that purpose.if the dog was a rottweiller or pitsbull. There are animals that are destructive,and there are some that are dangerous with human and not trainable,God made a food chain for life to continue and he made some animals as pets,preys and predators.I.e a grasshoper is a prey to D frog,there are pets,animals that lives in the house with human.Anyway what I mean is some animals are generally prey in the food chain,if you call klling a grasscutter animal cruelty what about the chicken and goats that lives in the house with us and we still put in the pots?

If u must get a rott as a newbie,don't take the male 1st,u can cope with the female but she must be a puppy and u must be strict in bringing her up,no mercy when she breaks a rule

And I see more dogs than handler,it should be a dog to one handler,do not allow more than one dog to one handler.some dogs are naturally moody,can be v happy and accomodate all sorts one day and the following day can wake on the wrong side,I have such dogs,so I can't predicts all dogs relationship especially of same sex.
