There is a difference between being a descendant of Igbo and being Igbo. Benin have descendants from yoruba but are not yoruba, go to Opobo, you will find out that they speak igbo but that doesn't make them Igbo. There are many examples of tribes or ethnic groups that descend from another, infact every tribe has descendants from another place especially the Fulani's who are widely believed that they are immigrants that forced themselves on Nigeria but it doesn't take away their right of being Nigerians. So no matter where the Ikwerre's descend from, they are an ethnic group and a tribe and therefore their rights should be respected.

That's social media for you, but believe it or not those that actually wanted to get what Obama said got it. This same thing happens in Nigeria, when the president danced in a rally and a woman was backing him a particular poltician that has turned social media activist made jokes with it. So its normal.

It is a known fact in this country that if GEJ coughs some people will say GEJ is sick and not fit to lead the nation, if he doesn't cough they say he is enjoying our money and that's why he isn't coughing. Anyway, back to the topic, in as much as I am in support of using indegenous companies in this country I think for now we don't have things like that on ground or shld we have waited till when we have them to have unified identity in this country? That man has never won a credible election in his life. People seem to forget who Amaechi is, Odili's attack dog and hit man. Truth is he's supposed to have the kind of support he has now because he is d governor and controls the resources of the state bt let's see how far that takes him after now. Imagine a whole governor not being able to move round his state anyhow he likes cause the youths do nt want him. I live in Rivers state and I know that the few support he has is cause of his money.

Whenever OBJ opens his mouth, all I see is bitterness bt its quite unfortunate that he can't rule forever. If he can provide 10 middle class people that complain to him about the state of the nation GEJ can provide 20 people that commend him too. Politics in Nigeria is personal interest and so far GEJ isn't representing his interest. Its quite unfortunate what General Obasanjo has turned himself to, his mates are busy being elderstatemen and criticizing when necessary but he's here forming opposition, that's why Atiku will always have the courage to fight him. How many Nigerians went on exile during his tenure? He should be happy that during his time we didn't hv social media propaganda like we hv now cos he refused to grant FOI bill and he's not from a minority region.

Some Nigerians are gullible and myopic in reasoning. 250million dollars is abt 40billion naira. Davido has elder brothers so even if his dad is worth up to 100billion naira do u think he is gng to give davido 40billion just for a private jet n don't forget he has elders brothers who need money too. Davdio isn't worth up to 1billion naira not to talk of 40billion. And d annoying part is that the internet is there for everybody to get facts and they are believeing anything. Dangote's jet is just abt 50million dollars even davido won't spend money to buy a jet now even if he has it except he's stupid which I believe he's not.

In the case of Kano and Rivers, please kindly point out which of these things were done after moving to APC. I keep saying this, Amaechi's soul isn't with the APC, he was pushed out of PDP in Rivers State and so everything he does now is to spite the PDP knowing that he doesn't have anything to lose and as for Kano, he moved cos of his presidential ambition and northern agenda. PDP and APC are thesame people. If I may ask, if PDP is really as bad as people say then I think we shld be careful in this country cos right now it seems APC is leading in propaganda and media war, and allegedly "terrorism", if APC takes over power then Nigeria is in trouble cos PDP are actually masters in this game. We know PDP also have men that can bring this nation to a standstill. Ignorant youths abusing each other here while they can't correctly name the former leaders of this country.

I am still looking for where the statement said confirmed that he is going for medical reasons. Some people claim to be enlightened yet they are so gullible. Our youths just believe anything they hear or read without asking reasonable questions. Identities might be hidden hear but these blackmails and hatred will definitely affect some of us outside here. A truly happy person will not expect anything bad to happen to someone else for him to be happy. I thnk its actually better for Nigeria that nothing bad happens to this man until he finishes his tenure.

This man keeps contradicting himself which clearly means that he isn't really happy in his present party,I don't blame him though, he was pushed out of PDP by PEJ and nyesom wike yet he claims nyesom isn't relivant to him. But anybody that really lives in rivers state will know the influence of nyesom even though he isn't a minister. so his only aim now is to hit them back by any means necessary bt deep inside he belongs to PDP and he knows rivers state is PDP. I lyk d man's resilience bt I hope he doesn't mix it with pride. Cos ikwerre men have so much pride.if we talk about their anticidents then we will know that amaechi and nyesom are thesame. I don't take any man who can't make a statement without insulting someone else seriously. Abuja is beautiful today all cos of this man even though there are claims that he was biased in allocation bt see how low he has come. This man shld be in thesame status as governors in this country bt rather he has turned himself to a social media activist. 80percent of his statements are via twitter or facebook. All I see in his statements are hate and anger of not being in charge. Nigeria is nt one at all, this country is a forced marriage that's why some ppl believe they are born to rule this country. When we understnd this a lot of progress will be made.

Threads and counter threads. I pity the youths of Nigeria, soo many hate inspired threads. I have come to realise that if anybody can name ten corrupt people in PDP another person can also name ten corrupt people in APC which simply means that they are all thesame. If APC wants to chase the PDP out of office it won't be by calling names and creating hate speeches or tracing every bad thing that happens in Nigeria to GEJ, they shld be able to sell themselves cos so far it seems that the hatred for GEJ is actually what keeps him going. Up to sixty percent of nairalanders have never voted before and still won't vote so coming here to insult each other is only childish. If the mods don't control these hatred and insults here, nairaland will lose its spice and the owner may be forced to close it down especially the politics section.

I am not saying that the present governor in Abia state is the best or that even performed fine. But I'm only stating the obvious, Nigeria is not lyk America or any other country in the west. Y do u think there's so much tribalism and ethnicity in this country. Do you know the kind of pain the Igbos still feel till date because of the civil war?

In a free and fair election, APC can't win any election in the south east. The mistake most people in social media make is that they keep believing that Nigeria is one and everyone has equal opportunities. But its not so. An average igbo man views APC as a northern party and therefore going by their anticidents with the northerners, they will never vote the APC.

If Amaechi means what he just said by comparing militants to Boko Haram then it goes a long way to prove that he is "sympathetic to boko haram". Anyway according to d news, he said this in one of the northern states, probably because of fear of Boko Haram.

Ribadu to PDP and Tambuwal to APC. I think Ribadu will always win Tambuwal in any election they decide to contest against each other.
