Anyway, you can't take away the fact that there are moles in govt and that's why some of these confidential information are coming out. I wonder why GEJ doesn't have a tight and trusted cabinet around him. Anyway I reserve my comment until Asari and the govt issue their statements about this. In the meantime, the APC should concentrate more in Teliing Nigerians what they can do for a change cos what I see now are a bunch of critics giving their opinions.

As expected. But I am really confused about this one. And by the way, where does Atiku fall in this story? Is he happy or sad? Our politicians are ridiculing our judiciary. I think the judiciary should be 100percent autonomous. But most of our judges are also politicians. May God help us. All the money they will spend in this fight will still be from the state coffers which is from oil.

To me, lagos should be left to the best person to rule cos that state is very strategic to Nigeria's growth which we will all agree. The last time I checked, Onne is in rivers state yet Amaechi claims that FG isn't doing anything here. It is not possible to solve the problems of the state within 3years. But knowing how gullible and jobless some of our youths are, he will always use their heads. Always shifting blames now. I hope the PDP in rivers state can actually have a good PR team that will also carry out propaganda since that's the kind of politics we now play in Nigeria. To me this case is a very easy case. That man can't perform his duties and as such should be removed. Where are the Human Right activists when you need them? Joe Odumakin, Femi Falana and the Prof. Wole soyinka. Where are their Imams? Or is it cos this one doesn't directly involve the presidency? This country is in shambles. And the acting governor doesn't know how to go about it. Everyone can see through him that he wants power by all means and that's why they will keep fighting him. When it happened to GEJ, he was behaving like someone who didn't even want the position in the first place. We have dumb politicians ruling us. They don't read, very few of them have the cunning of politics and that's why someone can come on national news and acuse the president of committing genocide without proof. Where is he now?

PDP knows that the only person that can fly its flag and give them victory or a chance of victory is GEJ. So its simple and short, I don't think there will even be voting at all. I hope Olisa Metuh is speaking the mind of everyone cos he may incur the wrath of GEJ with this one. I don't see anybody else in pdp that can win Buhari or especially Atiku without the presidency behind him and that's why they can't gamble with his candidacy that's if he declares.

Sorry o but since we are expressing our opinions here, I think most of the points raised sound gay to me. Most of the guys I have seen keep afro cos of the shape of their head. And I have stayed with a guy that keeps afro, he claims to be clean but his hair smells and the annoying part is that it doesn't even take more than 3days for the pillowcase to get dirty or change colour.

How many projects has Amaechi awarded since he resumed his 2nd term(ie 2011)? Now someone has mentioned how GEJ moved some projects to bayelsa yet when you go to bayelsa there are still people saying he didn't give them anything. Amaechi is just carrying propaganda everywhere and expecting gullible people to accept. GEJ is the president of Nigeria which means he has 36 state to take care of and not to concentrate in rivers state. Afterall we have the money to do these things by ourselves, so why wait for GEJ. And bayelsa is just coming up and any president in his right sense will want to develop his state that is why amaechi has to liase with the president to attract investments to the state rather than campaigning for APC, that's if he really has the interest of the rivers people at heart. His fellow governors and politicians are just watching him with pity, his APC people are happy he is playing their card well but they don't value him at all. He knows rivers people will vote GEJ, but all he wants is to secure the state so that the next governor won't probe him and his excesses.

They are not different. They both want power, their ideologies are thesame which is retain power at all cost. There's no alternative yet. APC got it wrong when they started accepting pdp governors and stakeholders. This is the truth we need to tell ourselves if not we are not moving forward. Apc had modu sheriff in their midst, if they had the nation at heart, they would have reported him to the SSS but they didn't until he left for pdp that's when they spoke out. I actually think apc is worse.

Everytime he talks he gives a new reason why GEJ should be voted out or why he left PDP. It is well, I think he should be more concerned with winning rivers state cos rivers people will vote GEJ. Amaechi knows that if he let's PDP win in rivers state, a lot of things will be exposed but the truth is rivers election will be too tough. He has the money to buy votes, but PDP has the mind of the people. I hope he doesn't wake up tomorrow to acuse GEJ of sleeping with his wife.

I get your point and it isn't far from what I'm saying. OBJ is power hungry, Tinubu knows he can't have it cos of the factors you talked about, GEJ is trying to thread carefully about this and that's why he didn't go. What do they all have in common? They want to be in control which means, none should be trusted especially the one that knows he can't get it at all.

But I thought APC has decided that they will go for direct primaries for a change? I'm tired of Nigerian politics, it irritating. Honestly APC isn't different from PDP and I knew this right from when they started accepting PDP governors and stakeholders. There are so many greedy men in APC and Nigeria won't be better for it. That's why I still believe that PDP will still win the election cos there isn't any alternative yet. And truthfully, we need change in this country but "nobody to bell the cat".

The Judiciary workers in Rivers State are on strike and to be sincere, our judiciary doesn't give justice, infact it is all over the world. That's the reason for the slogan "this is a court of law and not a court of justice". Every few months, one of the suspects is either released on bail or told to go cos he wasn't directly involved in the killing. The only reason why the case is still on is cos of media publicity and the parents of one or two of the boys that are rich and swore to get justice, if not the case would have died. I pity this country. Hope they get justice, though I doubt if it will make any difference for their parents now. RIP to the dead.

You can't take away the fact that this man still wields so much power in Nigerian politics. But I still believe he will not openly work for APC, that's if he even thinks it and if they give Atiku their flag, then OBJ will make sure Atiku losses by all means. Its obvious that he has some issues with GEJ which is understandable knowing how power hungry he is and knowing that no president will actually want his fate or power to rest on a former president. But one of them could compromise soon probably GEJ. Imagine baba on a platform campaigning for a party with his bad mouth and charisma. But baba can't work for APC. All he wants is to shake GEJ and see what he can salvage for his boys that still want power. Talking about Tinubu! This man can do anything to get power. If there's anybody that shouldn't be trusted in APC, I think he is the one. Imagine democratic party leaders going to George Bush to beg him to be the captain of their ship for election. With this alone, they will never win any election in the US. That's how he sponsored some people for them to attend Democratic party convention in the US the last time. He is tired of power from states, he wants to be incharge of the centre and Buhari or Atiku or Kwankwaso can't give him that. That's why I think he may betray them soon.

I wish him well. Maybe if he losses he will finally know what politics means and tie his tongue. Though I think he will be better than the present governor. But giving this man power, his tongue will be worse than Nyako and Amaechi's tongues combined. Let's not forget that the current VP is from kaduna. 2015 is pregnant.

The funny thing about this thread is that I actually wanted to believe it but knowing how extreme and far we take politics in this forum I decided to open the link first and what I saw was " sorry the page was not found" yet we are meant to believe the story. And this mentality is growing among many Nigerians that what we have is too many propaganda and it isn't healthy for us as a country especially the youths. I believe they may know these people afterall every politician including himself are all looters of our treasury, yet they will still need to be careful at it. If IBB is arrested tomorrow do you think there will be peace in this country? What if the Sultan of Sokoto is brought in for questioning, do you think the security operatives will even be able to leave his palace alive not to talk of with him? We play politics with too much bitterness here. Imagine OBJ and Tinubu meeting behind closed doors, that will show you that these men are just using our heads. So you can continue with insults if you are a laptop dog afterall that's what you are being paid for.

Very good points from the OP. And for the writer, he should be current with facts and happenings around him especially the job he will like to have, so that incase he is given an opportunity, he will make up for his grade through his answers. And subsequently, he should try being an entrepreneur, a lot of our youths overlook this aspect and this is a major way to make our economy grow and reduce the power our politicans and multinational companies have over us.

True talk cos most of these people commenting or abusing you are not better than you. They are just expressing their frustrations. But OP don't you think it might affect the forum itself one day? At a point people may start to see the forum as a place where anybody can register and start abusing themselves. Good anyway.

I prefer the old one. And shekau didn't arise cos of bad leadership. Boko haram is strictly more of islamic agenda though some politicians highjacked them, that's why tracing the origin a lot of northern leaders would be mentioned but they grew into something else. Are we going to say that ISIS is also as a result of bad leadership? If we claim that boko haram was as a result of bad leadership, then what will we say about the Niger Delta militants? The militants fought against bad leadership and when they were called to settle they came. But boko boys have been called and yet they refused. And please before any insults, my opinion isn't about PDP or APC it is about the fact that this notion is why we keep celebrating boko haram indirectly by always helping them spread news of their victories and condemn or doubt the Army's victories.

In a s much as this news doesn't have a source I will still advice Tambuwal to take a stand on where he is. In his own voice " his body language seems to be supporting APC but he is officially a member of PDP". It will soon get to a time when he won't be taken seriously by both APC and PDP cos indecision isn't a good trait for a man who wants to be respected. These pictures are funny. To me the only thing the OP has succeeded in doing is reminding us that there's a major white elephant project in the state except for those that don't live in PH and so will not know what I'm talking about. But the project is a very good project and I hope the next governor will endeavour to complete it but for the remaining 7months, it can't be completed. And I also think it should have been situated at ikwerre road, mile 3 across mile 1 to town maybe or better still started from eleme junction to atleast garrison cos these places are where we always have hold ups. I have never met a serious hold up at azikiwe road except for traffic. But I believe the governor is making serious plans towards who succeeds him so that these projects he is leaving will be completed.

Truthfully my brother, I'm not an advocate of one Nigeria but since we are pretending to be one atleast we should try to make it work rather than taking actions and making statements that prove otherwise.

And please I am still wondering the logic or wisdom behind insulting anyone that doesn't agree with some people's point of view in nairaland. Isn't this why this place is called a forum? Can't we all contradict or support each other without insults? If anyone is frustrated and needs to vent anger, the best is to take an alone time and cool off.
