With or without this thread, some of us have "lived on Nairaland" for 12 years and a Nairaland official far back 9 years ago. Perhaps some folks think Nairaland is just about jobs or about NNPC. Same Nairaland that I was the moderator of Politics section from 2010-2012.

I have visited NL almost everyday in the last 12 years and commented almost everytime. It's not anyone's sub that will stop me.

If responding to mentions on this thread or coming to share useful information I have on NNPC (as I have done for 12 years) means I'm jobless and desperate for NNPC, I'm happy to be jobless.

To some of us, discussing careers is part of our daily life.

And it is not my fault if anyone uses me as gauge of his expectation in this NNPC. It's not my business what anyone believes.

I don't like to banter but if you look at the distribution of nnpc workers you will see that the northerners are more. For example Delta has about 1001 but only 1 manager and then most northern states have 100 and under but up to 30 and above managers. Is that equal representation? They recruit from delta and rivers for boy boy roles then share the big roles among themselves.

I don't blame them though because you deltans on this tread did not even study the distribution of states in each role.
How do you change this?

When you get in, HELP YOUR PEOPLE GET IN this is how the Fulani's have taken over most government organizations because we in the south are selfish. When you send your uncle your CV he will use it to clean table but these northerners help each other even when they are not related.

When the ones in secondary school now send you cvs, work hard to get them in and teach them to bring more in. We can start now instead of complaining.

Go for NEBOSH. You can do the IGC or Intl Tech Cert in Oil and Gas Ops Safety. Register with RRC.co.UK. they are expensive but very good. I did some certs with them in 2013. Cheers.

The most highly recognized by our act is ISPON (Institute of safety professional of Nigeria,70k) but if you have the cash you can go for NEBOSH (around 230k) . NEBOSH is internationally recognized.

This is beginning to seem calculated, why invite more people? Did dey not get what they want in the thousands already interviewed? Why invite thousands when you just have few slots? Hmmmm especially for Eh it seems like a plot. I don't buy these sources though.
