zandora:Nice one Zandora thanks for helping out. r u in canada already? what province? |
Akposy:happy birthday to my fan. love your humility. always smiling everytime i read ur posts. i wish you greater heights in life. you will fufill Gods purpose for your life. loads of hug. |
pioneer195:lets give it a shot i do not know the names of the various ingredients except a few dry pepper little egusi plenty onions fresh fish, beef, dried cat fish(what ever appeals to you) however, the women that sells soup ingredients at any market will sell banga ingredients to you. just ask they will gladly help you. i usually buy the blended mixture(makes life easy and saves me from grinding them) processing boil your beef untill soft and set aside boil ur banga untill soft pour the banga into a small mortal and pound with a pestle add a little bit of water after about 10 mins of pounding and use ur hand to wash the banga oil extract and sieve into a pot and Boil.(The same way you process palm oil) blend ur dried pepper, dried crayfish, egusi and onions along side other ingredients sold to you and add to the oil extract you are cooking. the egusi is usually a little just to lighten the color after a while about 30 mins add your beef or chicken, perinwinkle, smoked cat fish ,etc your fresh fish goes in last. add salt and maggi to taste. leave for a while to cook( about 5-10 mins) banga soup is ready. banga soup goes very well with starch. i believe you know how to prepare that if not: dissolve your starch in a little quantity of water grease ur pot with red palm oil,all around not just the bottom of the pot pour your dissolved starch into the pot place on your cooker and begin to stir with ur turnstick (omorogun) untill it totally solidifies. the mixture color gradually changes from white mixed with oil to yellowish at the end when its well cooked. you starch is ready to be served. banga and starch is my best meal ever. Goodluck. i ope it turns out well. |
Finally, the 2015 presidential electoral result has been signed and sealed by JEGA. Thank you good people of Nigeria for voting change. hopefully, Buhari shall exceed superior performance, build a new and better Nigeria. God bless Jega, God bless Buhari. God bless Nigeria!!! #nigeriadecides2015# |
bushdoc9919:this result reminds me of 7up advert. 7up, the difference is clear!!! ![]() thank God for the victory. |
emiye:lol ![]() |
goryorhal:how dare u call JEGA '' a thing with any sense sha" i do not think there are as much sensible and dedicated pple like him. despite your pressure, watch what you say about him. he deserves some respect please. |
This manual compilation is really bad. Jega should have pronounced this result thank God Jonathan has accepted the result, hence calmness in all camps. else there would have being a great casualty by now |
Not surprised, though disgraceful to the nation. Most MOPOLS assigned to banks usually have too much to drink.their hobby includes womanizing and drinking.no serious thing.idleness is bad. |
[quote author=esere826 post=31602758]Anonymous donors should not be recognized they forsook this privilege when they chose to become anonymous -maybe for spiritual/humility reasons. They'll definitely understand. too many cooks spoil the broth it is difficult for those who have no investment in something to make a sensible and acceptable suggestion regarding that thing. I am sure you must have noticed the low level suggestions from none-givers here. So this is the way it should work the givers would read all you non-givers suggestions then weed out the unsensible ones and use it to make a sensible decision Tehn then implements [/quote your analogy is quack. Tehn, needed suggestions, that's why the question was thrown to d house. Its none of your Business whether someone contributed or not. Cos you av funds doesn't make you smarter than Your counterpart that has nothing today. |
esere826:So how do u recognize the Anonymous donors suggestions? Because someone didn't contribute cash doesn't mean he/ she can't make a sensible suggestion as to how to handle d funds. |

To be rich is not what you have in your bank Account, but what you have in your heart. |
RIP uncle Charles. May God console u. Whoa, what a vivid narration. Its nice seeing another side of u All I knew about was yuzedo of banana Iceland And his mansions. |
zed24:God will grant you your heart desire. Children are the heritage of the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Behold he's doing a new thing in your life... You will rejoice. |
These parents are dumb than dumber. This is cluelessness at its peak. Useless and undeserving beings. Ohh myyy....dis is Africa. They dare not try this in d western world. Nigerians, pls let's say NO to CHILD ABUSE!!! |
kemnareal:They are both frustrated lazy bones blaming their Fate on an innocent child. |
I just can't fathom what is becoming of pple. See d degree of injury on d child's butt. 11 months old I Ope they don't return d child to dis evil parents. May God judge them! Witches calling an innocent child witch. |
OP, if you decide to go ahead with the lady please, do not hestitate to register her with a good gynecologist immediately she gets pregnant. A renowned one in Lagos is DR Abosede Afolabi of PAELON MEMORIAL CLINIC. Shes a specialized gynecologist for siclke cell patients, she was trained abroad. (she was on CNN africa some time ago.) And if you are boxed up , when its time for delivery , your wife could go to Grady Health systems in Atlanta Georgia they are affiliated with Emory Hospital. They have a sickle cell clinic there and her pregnancy will be well managed. With God, prayers and taking care of herself judiciously she will overcome. |
photographer:shallom. well said! God will continue to sustain you. you will live to fulfill your purpose on earth. IJN amen doc namzy , true life experience. OP, follow your heart, we wont be there when she has crisis. But you know what,? life itself is full of Ups and Downs, May God lead you right... |
Namzy:im ashamed you are a doctor. the comment was from someone whose sis is an SS. i also wrote about my best friend thats an SS. why cant you see the bright sides of things? I repeat, they shall overcome with God, prayers and taking good care of themselves. every man born on earth shall die some day, young, old, man or woman. life expectancy or not! |
girlyly:nice! congrats to your sister. May she live to see her grand children IJN. this is it. true life experience. what people lack in the Nigerian community is information. the fear of the disease has eaten so deep into their hearts and what most pple do is avoid the carriers like a plague. information is soo cheap but pple dont get it enough. less level of stress, eat well veggies, fruits, lots of fluids, (water), use folic acid and they would be good. im looking forward to that time when sicklers wont die again cos they can manage their health conditions properly. shout out to all sicklers out there. i love them cos they are exceptionally brilliant. we cant blame God, no human being is perfect not even d AA's . With God, prayers and taking good care of urselves you will overcome!!! shalom. |
femmy2010:God bless you. My point exactly! |
Namzy:doc, this OPS case is to totally different. hes AA, shes SS. the worst genotype the kids could have is AS. This is common sense! |
Midehi:definitely, i totally agree. he must be aware of the consequences and be prepared. i was just shocked at the docs post spewing dooms of being a sickler not seeing any reason why the should live. he was so negative saying hes a realist. |
Midehi:you cant feel the pain as much as someone that has being in that shoe. NEVER! you can only imagine what pains they are going through. and show as much love as possible. ive taken care of my best friend severally when shes in crises, though it doesnt come often again. that still does not deprive them of a good life or getting married. sickle cell pains are of various degrees. we dont even know ow often this OP girl falls sick or gets transfused. some are so healthy you cant know except you are told. so pls give them a chance. Op, follow your heart! |
Midehi:my sister is married to an SS guy. because hes SS does not make him less of a human being. God forbid, if you had an SS as family member, would you wish him/her does not live a normal life or get married? its all about choices, the OP is left to follow his heart. |
Laredojohn:Tell me who wouldnt die? who is it on earth that is not sustained by God? dont you have people who are not up to 40 and are nomal and die? every man, young or old, an or woman will die at one time or another whether SS or not. ops wife to be can live beyond 25 even with child delivery. The problem is the fear pple inhabit about the disease. |
Namzy:im shocked a doctor is talking like this. failed healing accepted. we have pple that dont belive in God and they are SS and well alive. if i may ask, whats the average life expectancy of a Nigerian? pls its doctors like you that kills their patient with news of a disease before the said disease manifests itself. sicklers have crisis no doubt, but when educated as to how to handle their situations their survival chances increases. you sound so much like a doctor that told my SS friend that shes pregnant and the chance is high she might not come out of it alive. "even if" there are better ways of saying such. the news alone is enough to kill. OP, follow ur heart, not an apprentice doctor.smhhh... |
Namzy:MR DOCTOR,Ive seen a grandma of 75 that had 5 kids. Grandma is SS. what sort of a doctor are you? realist my foot!!! so sicklers are not entitled to live a good life? whats ur challenge in this? if the ops question was as stated in ur post above,i wouldnt advise him to go ahead . cos definitely they would have ss as kids but for goodness sake, hes AA and marrying an SS does not make them liable to aving SS kids. wake up doc!!! you cant even create a human, so why condemmn one? God has only given u the technical/biological know how to manage their situations so please be judicious in doing dat. dont complicate matters by writting them off. if you dont live your life based on HOPE then what else.? pray that God sustains you. reality without God takes you no where. with hope, God and taking good care of themselves SS would outlive normal so-called AAs. |
NLSince:Op , you are in no fix as far as im concerned. Love conquers all. we will all die someday whether AA AS SS SC AB or what you have. Being a SS carrier isnt an automatic death sentence it is an health condition that could be managed. presently, my closest friend is a sickler, lives in CAnada where the temperature goes beyond -40 at times. shes 35 years old. guess what , her husband developed a cold feet when he was about to make same decision as you todaay, asking people for advice. but thank God he went ahead. he confesses shes the best thing that has ever happened to her. Truth be told, she might have some crises, but she will pull through and you must be ready to show love and be tolerant. As long as ur wife to be adheres to her health rules she would be fine. These include: Reducing her stress level, taking lots of water, veggies, fruits. using her folic acid judiciously and avoids extreme heat or cold temperatures. Lets not forget the place of God, hes the giver of life. Prayers are never too much. "Scared of her not living up till 70?" forget it, what gives an AA the assurance he would live to see the next day? God is the giver of life and he has promised us that he would satisfy us with long life, if you believe. my friend has 2 kids, normal delivery, no CS, drives around, goes skating a financial analyst with a top bank, stronger than most AA or what you have. when she was in Nigeria her doctor aged 70 was an SS. Let no sickness take away ur LOVE and JOY. no sentiments attached, prayerfully make your decision. and by the way your kids can never be SS. |
hmmn, the heart of man is deep and desperately wicked!!! how on earth could a woman do this to a two years old girl. ohh.. i really do wish i could just lay a finger on this lady...so she could have a feeling of how my heart bleeds at this moment she is mentally sick. not fit to be called a mother. is it by force to get married and take care of a step child? ive not being able to take my mind of this article since i read it. i cant just imagine someone whipping a baby for soiling herself. my 3 yrs old daughter comes back from childcare with her extra clothings soiled occassionally and tells me, mama, i peepeed on my clothes. and with LOVE i hug, peck and tell her not to peepee on herself again. not to talk of a two yr old. shes wicked and shouldnt be left free, she must be made to pay for this! shes in no way meant to transfer her anger and aggression to the innocent child. what women do to get attention. i really do wish she was barren. but i leave her to that same God she claims to be serving, evil woman surrounded by evil friends. smh at the man and all dis social media relationships. Men, pray that the Lord direct s your path to ladies that will love you and all of urs. Not DEVIL INCARNATEs. im sorry for the names calling, but i really do feel sick at this article... BTW, doesnt lovelyns mum have family members that could take care of the baby? |
