Ambeyh: choi, have any one been snt for further medics before cos dem CDHC snd me for further medical exams ooo,i dnt no if its because of the course am goin for.huh
Ambeyh, it is well o. Further medics delays o.
U might not be able to make jan resumption date.
Just prepare ur mind.
And go with enough cash.
They wld av sent d instruction to ur panel physician.
Just meet ur doc with ur IME number, he wld view ur file and tell u what tests u r to do. dats all.
When did u do ur first medics? I'm guessing its about a month ago.
Since u r going for aerospace, maybe u might just need to see a cardiologist. (Dats a wild guess) to check d state of ur heart and it might just be a simple specimen culture or blood test.
But, u will get ur visa for sure. It will just take time.
Before u go, make sure u call wherever u had ur first test and inmform them.
Any doc might not be able to access ur file except d MD.(Medical Director).
Such dat u don't waste ur mums time.

buchi4med: @Britiko u spoke wisely, but that guy is not meant to be on this forum. This is one of the Nigerian guys that indulges in illegal business in abroad therefore tarnishes the image of innocent Nigerian in diaspora. I just expressed my feelings towards his odd intentions on the beneficiaries of this forum. Nigeria can never be good if we continue to encourage crimes by being nonchalant at things that seem COMMON but so SERIOUS. Thank you
Thanks for ur understanding. I know ow u feel.
And I do not support nigerians in diaspora indulging in illegal business thereby jeopardising d future of genuine intending immigrants.( U can confirm from my previous posts).
However, my point is u can pass ur message across in a subtle but candid manner without names calling.
May God help us all.

buchi4med: @IYKE M, We do not need people like you in this forum. YOU are a 419ER, have you finished helping all your family members in the village?. You are nothing but a THIEVE.
Oga mi, why d names calling?
Did he swindle you? Av u met him in person?
If ur instinct tells u he's a bad guy, then u IGNORE his post. Why extend ur insults to his family members?
No names calling PLSSSS. Let's act as d matured & civil adults dat we are.

Ebonylord: hello everyone, i am new here, i applied for study permit in September for winter and have been called for medicals, however i am SS{sickle cell gene}, i am about to do my medicals, will my case be different? will i be refused a visa based on the fact that am SS? will there be delays? does any one know any SS patient already in canada or who have done their medicals? please i need your contributions and answers both from those already in canada and those who have applied for study permits or know people who have been issued/denied visas based on being SS or the procedures or things that were required from them during their medicals. Thanks all...
Congrats on ur medics call.
My dear, you won't be denied based on ur genotype.
However, ur medics will entail a lot and lots of patience from your end.
While others do just one medic test, u wld do like 2- 3 medicals @ different times.

Delayed? Yes, Ur medics might take up to 3months to finalise.(courtesy d cdhc health branch in paris or london)

Apart from doing the regular/normal test, u wld be required to get a detailed report from ur heamatologist ( d doc dat manages ur sickle cell) stating ur stable pcv,(packed cell volume) ur blood percentage, ow often u are being transfused or maybe never transfused. Ow often u fall sick and what ur routine drugs are.(E.g folic acid, paludrine, vit c etc)

Also, if u've had a major surgery, u wld. Be required to get a detailed report as per, why, when and where d operation was carried out on U, ow many pints of blood u were transfused with after d surgery and so on.

You should bear in mind that u will be spending more on ur medics than others.
If you've been transfused previously, u will need to do d Hepatitis AB&C tests.

In summary, the only bottleneck in ur application is d medics period.
Apart from dat, u are good to go.
U might be discouraged @ some point cos of d medics call,it cld be overwhelming but in all trust in God and never forget d place of prayers. try to stay healthy as much as possible.

And finally, getting ur visa? Yes.
Wish u d best of luck.

HealthRe: Why The Fear Of Caesarean Section By Nigerian Women? by britiko: 8:18pm On Dec 06, 2013
Except its been done in a standard hospital, its always a scary decision to make in niaja o.
This is due to the high rate of un professionalism on d part of d doctors.
I met a childhood friend a few days ago and hugged her. While hugging, i felt some bulge of flesh underneath her clothing, there were two long painful keloids scar of a single CS she had a year ago.
The keloid Scars where so long and bulky, one was latitudinal and d other d other longitudinal ( vertically and horizontally).
Apparently, before d cs,several scans were carried out on her and they found out that d baby was lying close to her liver(breech) I think, but they forgot and cut her open just below her belly button(vertically) before dey remembered and cut her horizontally again.
She was cut open from one side of her tummy to d other end(vertically) instead of just a small cut.
It was such a pathetic story.
She said she spent over 4hrs in d operating room.
The stitches were not done neatly at all. A year after d surgery she still feels d pains. She said d doctors were busy discussing politics while operating on her.
I was so shocked. If I had not seen a cs done before, and see dis I would never opt for cs.
Unfortunately, only in niaja will such as narrated here happen.
Asked her if she sued d hospital, but she said NO.
So, I begin to wonder why such won't repeat itself.
Her horrible experience is due to negligence on the part of the so - called doctors.

CS are usually life savers, let's not ignorantly destroy d life's of mother and child.
It by no means makes d woman less of herself a s widely believed culturally.
But, in all if u must opt for CS do not think abt d cost, Go to professionals, reddington, paelon memorial, lagoon and d likes.
Go for good gynaecologists, not gbogbo ise doctors.
May God deliver us from quacks.

Please, do not lie in dis portion. I'm very sure dey av ur details on dier database.
Moreover, there's always a first time. Its not a crime to av been denied a visa once.
So, pls be explicit as possible.
(Dis is for paper route) don't knw if dey ask same question online.
But if dey do, then ansa yes and state d reeasons for denial.
Hello everyone. I am new to this but I have been reading most of the posts. I am in a little dilenma here. I started my processing on 28th may,I did my medicals on 27th september and submitted a new acceptance letter for winter 2014 as well as pay tuition fees full one year inclusive of acceptance fees to memorial uni as requested by CDHC wen I got instructions for medicals on 10th october. Till this moment, I havent gotten any response and its been six(6)months and a week now. Wat could possibly be happening?

Also wat does tuition and boarding mean, as in I dont get the what boarding means? Does it mean accomodation? I applied to on campus accomodation and I was placed on waiting list and told I was 10th. I got an official letter from housing department explaining this which I included in the docs I sent to CDHC INCLUSIVE OF RECEIPTS OF TUITION from cashiers office as well as online payment printouts for tuition fees and housing application fees.

I do not know what is the delay for? I need advice as I am planning on visiting CDHC tomorrow morning like that broda who stormed there but on a more subtle note to make enquiries. Please I need suggestions and advice.

Nice work all the contributors and experiences everyone as shared.
U got medical instruction twice? 28th Sept and 10th Oct?
Whatever d date was, u arnt alone.
We still av some may (fall applicants dat deffered till winter start dates) awaiting cdhc decisions.
So, pls storm if u can.
It shld ginger 'em up.
Goodluck!

I believe he doesn't know dats y he's asking.

My dear, I will tell u a bit.
canadian educational system is well rounded in terms of theory and even practicality. They have good research system. Hands on practical experienced tutors/ lecturers/ professors etc.
Its as good as in d US and UK and some few other countries.
But beyond d scope of its education, u av quite a lot to gain frm dis country unlike other countries. Canadian educational system offers dis oppourtunities on a platter of Gold.( D link to gaining other oppourtunitities)
Canada has a growing/booming economy and dis will bring abt job oppourtunities upon completion of ur programme. Unlike d uk and us.
Canada is Known for its multicultural diversity, little or no issue of racism,
Ability to integrate easily and faster into d system.
Infact, dey av d most flexible immigration policies,
Starting frm giving its students d permanent residency after few yrs of study and later citizenship.
Its has good health care systems,(one of d best in d world)
Security of human lives and properties, d government are concerned aBt its citizen's well being.
constant power supply, good roads and d likes(dats y u pay taxes)
My dear, its a lot u've got to gain frm d system.
Read up abt canada and other countries, compare and contrast and then u can knw for urself.
U can also enlighten ur mum on d reasons y u choose canada.
Take care. Choose wisely.

decision01: got this from the web lagos@international.gc.ca.another ish is my application was for september semester this yr and i submitted my application on 4th of june but still dont have any reply.although i wrote to the sch abt the delay.if eventually i am due for medics, will not having a defer letter from the sch affect my chances?cos i must pay them a visit on tuesday next wk..
It's good u informed your school. Av u made a request for a winter start date? If yes, pls hold on to it. Immediately u get ur medics call, cdhc will request for ur new start date.
You not aving a new start date won't affect ur medics and it doesn't stop you from going for enquiry on ur application status.
Go with d ffg details, ur DOB, vfs tracking number, ur passport number, and phone number.
Hope dis helps.
Goodluck.

Sweetheart, such is life. But always have it at the back of your mind that "winners don't quit"
And the road to success is a very rough one. Nothing good in life comes easily and nothing happens by mistake.
You are destined for the top cos u r born to win,
Hence, shake off d depression and bounce back. kindly state all doc u applied with and pple wld help address the reason(s) for denial.
Address all loopholes, re-package and re-apply.
Remember not to leave God out of dis deal.
And I'm sure u will excel.
Please, adhere strictly to cdhc's instructions in your next application. Do only what u are instructed to do. Doing otherwise might spell desperation to them.
It is well.
