My major ish nah, is this sore-like pain at my right ribs just below my boobs. Chai, feels alot like an open wound

Ask your Doctor how long you will be taking the meds. The pains on your ribs is a likely indication that baby has not descended yet, hence he/she kicks are felt on your ribs. Sorry about the pains. Once baby descends, you won't feel the pains on your ribs. You will feel pains in pelvis more..

We know edd changes most time as pregnancy progresses

Hence I advised him to check the edd on d scan done within 11-14 weeks of pregnancy for the correct edd or confirmation ..

That 'swelling' of one side is braxton hicks o ooo. Your uterus contracts and hardens, causing one side to 'rise' or 'swell ' for some seconds before relaxing again. We are gradually moving to the end....

Thanks for checking up on me sweetie, it hasn't been well at all. I had episiotomy and it broke down. I didn't know, I have been in severe pains.
I can't sit, sleep, walk, eat, carry my ds, I've lost weight. The pain is from hell mehn!
I've gone back to see d gynae, he had to remove d stitches. The wound is so wide and deep. I'm doing sitz bath with warm water and salt. Dh said d wound is healing. I'm supposed to be going for dressing every 2 days but no one to leave my baby for. Dh can't handle him and mum goes to work.

Chai....sorry Dear! You need help ooo!!! DH should learn to handle baby please...You can't do it alone.

The effectiveness of a cloth diaper is down to the system you use, how heavy a wetter your child is, the kind of fabrics used for absorbancy, quality of materials and even the fit of the nappy on your baby.

Brand and cost is not everything! Most of my nappies are "branded" and were not cheap but i have had various experiences with them. Even how quickly they dry need to be considered.

Microfibre inserts will be the cheapest and are likely to be the default that comes with most pocket nappies but the are also notorious for compression leaking. So never use them alone.

Lost nine of them before 5 months.
Carried one to 7 months, gave birth and lost the baby after two months.
She just told me she and her husband separated. They were married for 8 years. I guess it took a toll on them.

Oh boy!!!!!!! . So sorry for her....What did the Docs say is the cause of the repeated losses please??

I used the manual pump, tommy tippee. I enjoyed using it. I can express 120-150ml from one breast and about 90 from the other in 10-15 minutes sometimes less. It's less expensive and I had no issues with it.

I can't say it is as good as the electric because I didn't try using electric. But I can say manual pump served me well.

i use avent Phillips. I bought manual pump, mistake i should have gotten the electric.no much money den sha.will still buy electric hopefully before i resume cos i plan to ebf 6months so help me God.
For the manual.i normally express 2 125ml bottles.my dd takes 100ml at once, then they top with the 25ml when she is just playing around with food.but this must be used within 1hr,2hr tops.i discard wat ever remains after 2 hrs.
It takes average of 30 to 40mins for me..
But if my breast is really full.10 to 15mins. My milk go just dy flow like fountain.i dont even pump den,i just attach the pump and press the handle and hold. The milk will just gush out on its own.

Thanks for the response. My sister would love to buy the electric too but na 'ego' problems now oo. Was hoping to hear from someone that the manual too is equally good too and can serve me... .

Britneystacy, changing carbs to protein no work o! I av been 'resurrected' severally cos of food! Don't do any dieting when you breastfeed. You will never be satisfied, exhaustion will be ur new name, before you know u don land hospital. Forget skimmed milk, drink your full cream milk. You can think of weight loss later.

Naso the EBF be Lol....this is serious ..

Will start training her soon cos i will soon resume n wont always be dere to put breast in her mouth . i have started bottlefeeding her sef. Please what type of breast pump and feeders did you buy ? Manual or electric ? What product specifically? How long does it take you to express?

Huggies in the transparent nylon is the better huggies. It's very pricey now ooo. If you can afford it, fine. But if you can't , please go for Angel. I have heard very good reviews about it. My fear with Johnson is the May likely ship those ones rejected in the US after the court case to us here in Nigeria. So go for Sebamed or Chicco. I bought Chicco myself.

@all experienced mamas, I beg I can eat now ooooo. Chai, infact no matter how I eat I must top it up with either pap, oat, water melon , tea or garri water. Rice na voice mail, it doesn't fill me no matter how I eat it. I can finish five glasses of water at ones. Hmmmm is this ok?

Also there are days I eat and still no satisfaction no matter what I eat and how much of it I take.

Pls advise. Is dis normal? Before now am not a eating much person, food doesn't appeal to me much. Now am a different person.

Iya beji, how do you intend to breast feed twin babies and care for them without strength from food It is very normal for your body to demand for more food so you can meet up. Please feel free to eat when your body demands for it. ...It's a phase of your life and it will also pass. All you can do now is try to replace the carbohydrates foods with other classes of food such as proteins. Instead of pap, take oats.Continue with your water drinking. The water melon too is very good for you....You can also change your milk to low skimmed milk if you avoiding fat.

No remedy to adding weight when on EBF oo and you aim for a quality breast milk production! ! You can aim to have more fruits, vegetables and fibre rich foods than pure carbohydrates. For e.g , instead of pap, you do oats. You can even replace your garri or foofoo with eba made with oats. You can have moimoi in between meals to keep you filled instead of bread. ...
The fact is , once you stop breastfeeding and you put your mind to losing the baby fat , you will do so. For the meantime, can Pristine keep having her nutrients rich breast milk please

There are pregnancy calculators online to help and make it easier. Count 40 weeks from 1st December. ....You will likely land on 6th September. ...It's difficult to tell for sure when conception actually took place. It's only God that knows but it can be estimated . Conception date is immaterial sha. Date of LMP is significant.

Am worried for this baby. .. his movement lately and Braxton hicks seems to be around my belly button mostly. ...
Some one help me tell him not to wrap himself with umbilical cord abeg ?
