Is this blasphemy is it? You should know what blasphemy is-you worship against God all the time-you bow down to statues-you idolize the rosary's, praying, believing God will answer you.Maybe this is why you call it blasphemy-because you have never had that close encounter with God, nor Jesus in this matter, nor any of His angels. Acts 2:17 "In the last days, God says I will pour out My Spirit on all people, your son and daughters will prophesy, young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Do you believe what the Lord had said: or is it still blasphemy, against you? dmandy: I only asked you what he had. Bones?
Again, you will have to wait until I get a hole life before you stop posting blasphemy against the angel of God. |

Don't read the bible yourself just listen to king Ebuka, he knows all the answers. You are just trying to prove Jesus didn't have other brothers, just to clarify your argument why the Catholic's call her the Virgin Mary. You can't beat the bible, its the word of God. dmandy: Dear honest born again Christain,
the question you jumped into to answer is this 'Do you think John mentioned this other Mary (mentioned in Matt and Mark which King Ebuka agreed is not Mary the mother of Jesus) in his account of the crucifixion?'
You should learn to read and understand the question before answering. |

They did it for centuries-and now they are calling all Churches to come back to the Catholic Church. Only to take the word of God away from us again. The Catholic's have a different meaning dealing with the word of God, they expect us to worship after Mary before Christ, they believe it was Mary who brought them to Christ. Brave men and women fought for their own freedom, that they risked their lives to rewrite the bible into other languages, dying in the progress, it was the Catholic Church who had murdered these poor souls-and all they wanted, was to release the word of God, so all man kind could know the hidden secrets about word of God-the truth will set you free. A message sent by the lord Himself-was to set us free from all the worldly burdens we carry everyday in our lives. LoJ: Hello Brocab,
How can a human institution (the catholic church) hold captive a divine institution (the message of God)? Is that even possible?
Blessings. |

Jesus said To John behold this is your mother-and He said to His mother behold this is your SON. Jesus was pointing this scripture to John and His Mother Mary. A disciple said to Jesus, your Mother and your brothers are standing outside wanting to see you, Jesus said who is My Mother, and who is My brothers, these are My Mother and brothers who listen to the word of God, and do it. Yes Jesus had brothers-as the word say's He did. dmandy: Thanks King,
So actually it can be inferred from those passages that Mary (Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joseph, and Salome) is not the mother of Jesus. Can we superimpose this observation with the women listed according to John 19:25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
Do you think John mentioned this Mary in question? |

Jesus always talked about His Father-I do what My Father tells Me. But when He say's I and the Father are One-they are-believe it, Jesus is the seed from His Father-like you are a seed from your father-you too are one with him. No one has God at any time, God is light-the light of the world-Jesus had also Quoted these same scriptures I am the light of this world. I hope you understand that. dmandy Quoted>I worship the Mary that's written in the bible. dmandy is telling the truth for all you Catholic's isn't he. So this is how it works- Quote>dmandy are you scared of losing your Catholic faith? So does this mean, dmandy can lose his Catholic faith-if he don't pull his head in and teach the doctrines of the Catholic Church. Interesting. This proves your faith isn't about Christ-but the Church it's self. KingEbukaNaija: @ dmandy . I dont think any elucidation is needed after this wonderfully explained rebuttal and I wonder why dmandy is still obdurate . dmandy , are you scared of losing your Catholic faith ? Cos its more like it . Your evidence in support of the perpetual virginity of Mary gets weaker at every subsequent response you give . |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Did It Take 2,000 Years For The Gospel To Reach Nigeria? by brocab: 11:19pm On Dec 29, 2015 |
Because the Catholic Church wouldn't allow it to get through. LoJ: Hello to all.
I would like to go back to the original question. "Why Did It Take 2,000 Years For The Gospel To Reach Nigeria?"
The truth in my sensing is, before the religion called "Christianity" came to Nigeria (and Africa and Asia, etc.) they were already great followers of Christ and even prophets of Christ. Attention must be drawn to the fact that, Religion and Spirituality are not one and the same thing. Religion is usually the institutionalization and formalisation of the teaching of a Prophet or a Truth Bringer such as Muhammad, Elijah, Buddha, JESUS, etc. by their followers. And usually those followers created a system to systematize those teachings which they oftentimes did not understand perfectly and introduced consciously or unconsciously errors and mistakes and thereby distorted their Message. Sometimes, the prophets themselves failed to live up to their callings, and introduced errors in their message out of some impurity or immaturity of their soul.
When JESUS came to the World, his message and Actions were anchored deeply in the divine (being God the Son) and hence impacted the whole cosmos. Thus from that time (till today) anybody anywhere in the world can have access to the original words of JESUS, with or without human intervention.
So when the Religious evangelists came to the shore of Africa, they were already people who were connected to Christ, and were even better followers of JESUS than the preachers themselves. Of course they may not have called him "JESUS". Jesus is a name, the most important is the entity to whom we are referring to. Even today, people from various tongues, call him differently.
This still applies today: There are people outside the various religions churches and temples, who are better followers of Christ than many preachers and religious people.
Religion is different from Spirituality. And Religion is not a requirement to the true service/worship of GOD.
I wish you all blessings. |

Haven't you got enough sense to work out these things for yourself? Firstly we are talking about worshipping God-in your case Mary, and of course you have taken this matter outside the Church, setting up your own twisted ways, leaving the scriptures behind, only to satisfy your Devilish needs, it shows, you can only follow after the lust that belongs to this world. From our Christian faith we worship and serve God. Outside the Church Is totally different, serving man and worshipping statues, isn't serving and worshipping God. But of course you are confused between the two. 1 John 2:15 "Do not love the world or anything in the world, If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them. You can't tell the differences-between serving and worship? Do you bow down or fall to the ground after a female waiter had served you-do you praise her-glorifying her, kissing her feet? Or do you keep your worship inside the Church ready to bow down praising and glorifying the Mother of God Mary. While the waiter is only doing her job, she stays away from stalkers like you. dmandy: I have not twisted anything sir,
I wanted to find out whether it was possible for someone to serve any other person other than Jesus without sinning? Are you saying it is possible? |

You shall worship your God and Him only you shall serve You have refused to tell me who are those two people sitting on the thrones. Jesus Christ is the King of kings, and the Church is coming as His wife. Just think she even may have the name Queen of heaven. Where does that leave Mary? dmandy: Okay, which means he is worshipping. Right? |

Are you confused with the truth-it is written you shall worship your God and Him only you shall serve. dmandy: You love to complicate issues
You said worship simply means bowing and falling down. I even asked if you were done and you answered me 'thank you'. Now you are here with a litany of activities "Honour, adore, praise, Glorify". Learn to make things simple. It helps.
According to your post,
If I bow down to God, I worship God, If I bow to Mary, I worship Mary, If I bow to my audience in a theatre hall, I worship my audience? Yes / No
If I honor God, I worship, If I honor Mary I worship Mary, and If I honor my Father, I worship my father. Yes / No etc.
Have I inferred correctly from your post? Don't fail to point out where I erred o |

Serving customers-as a waiter, or a bar personal, isn't the same as worship those you serve-bowing down, or falling down, kissing statues-praying the rosary's, is what God had said, not to do, in the 10 commandments. You are getting yourself confused, you are twisting the word of God, again. You Catholic's will try anything to defuse what the word of God said. dmandy: Him alone shall we 'serve', another term you have brought in. If I 'serve' any other, have I sinned? |

Both, You tell me dmandy: You are confusing yourself. Now take it one step at a time...

Yes' if you worship another. Luke 4:8 "Jesus answered and said, unto him get behind Me Satan, for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve. dmandy: Him alone shall we 'serve', another term you have brought in. If I 'serve' any other, have I sinned? |

He isn't worshipping God-but any man who worships another man is turning himself away from God. These are men and women not statues-I don't know them, but what I do know, king-Queen of what country? Its people that make these people what they are-but it's God who made only One King and one Lord- Jesus Christ. dmandy: Okay, any time one falls down or bows down he or she is worshipping. That's all?
Well this folk below is worshipping, (he is both falling down and bowing down) so double worship. what do you say about it? And who is he worshipping? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Catholics Pray With The Rosary, And Bow To Mary's Statue? by brocab: 9:48am On Dec 29, 2015 |
We all should Worship Christ everyday.Exodus 20:4 " You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven- {Is Mary in heaven} above or on the earth, nor under the earth. You have made Mary in an image above.Jesus wanted us to worship Him, and Him only you shall serve. You should forget about falling down or bowing down to Mary-she is blessed having that opportunity to retrieve a Son from the Father. She is blessed being the Mother of Christ-but in bible terms she had done her job-and now we all need to worship after Jesus in our hearts. dmandy: You are done? |

You cannot change the bible sir, no matter how hard you try. Christ thought it wise to include the doctrine of Mary in his doctrine. You see there are no two doctrines but one from which all the others take root. |

Of course-she wasn't mentioned-this is why we have two different opinions about which Peter you are preferring too. The disciple Peter was married, and she did play a big part in Peter's life back then. Like most wife's do today.
