I am a little confused, how do you line up Jesus, equal with Moses in Deuteronomy? Before I we start-allow me to write this verse. {Galatians 2:21} I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through {Moses} law, Christ died for nothing! "Paul said: I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me! "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus. I assure you, Jesus and Moses didn't have the same authority, and plus if the law could save us, Christ died in vain. Since you believe Jesus was just a prophet-like Moses-I suppose He was a sinner, just like Moses. Riofidelio: |
Not exactly a fig of my imagination. By your own imagination you have laid the Mother Catholic Church at my feet claiming-Jesus had began her through Peter! "And through this ordeal you have quoted from the beginning she/her Church made of brick and mortar, is the body of the Church. This was the first time you had actually mentioned the bride of Christ, are actually people... But let me say: praise the Lord forevermore-I pray-someday, I wrote someday, you will at least try to understand where the Spirit reins in us all who have chosen to believe. {Romans 8:9} The Spirit Lives in You. {1 Corinthians 6:19} What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? So where is the Church of Christ-that's right He reins in each of us, "which means the Catholic Church is not the beginning Church.. "All authority was given to Christ-not Peter.. Sadly many people are taught the church is a building. This is not a biblical understanding of the church. The word “church” comes from the Greek word ekklesia which is defined as “an assembly” or “called-out ones.” The root meaning of “church” is not that of a building, but of people. It is ironic that when you ask people what church they attend, they usually identify a building. {Romans 16:5} says “… greet the church that is in their house.” Paul refers to the church in their house—not a church building, but a body of believers. 9inches: |
Then if you believe the head of the Church is Christ-and you believe the Church is the people-the bride of Christ, Then why do you believe the church is made of brick and mortar? 9inches: |
Then why is Jehovah so important to you? Riofidelio: |
And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. The Jehovah's Witnesses, among others, cite {John 17:3} as a proof-text to deny the Trinity and claim that Jesus Christ is not God. They reason is that if Jesus were God, then He would not have called the Father, "the only true God." If the Father is the only true God, then it must require that Jesus cannot be God. Shame on you Riofidelio-have you decided to deny this scripture, because you are trying to make a point? How can you now believe Moses be a god, when you believe Jehovah is the only true god. Riofidelio: |
Sadly the divine name wasn't Jehovah. In the Hebrew Scriptures, the name of God is recorded as YHWH. So, where did the name “Jehovah” come from? Ancient Hebrew did not use vowels in its written form. The vowels were pronounced in spoken Hebrew but were not recorded in written Hebrew. The appropriate vowel sounds of words were passed down orally. As a result, when ancient Hebrew is studied, scholars and linguists often do not know with absolute confidence how certain Hebrew words were pronounced. This particularly becomes an issue when studying the Hebrew name of God, written in the Hebrew Scriptures as YHWH, also known as the tetragrammaton. Despite much study and debate, it is still not universally agreed upon how the Hebrew name for God YHWH was pronounced. Some prefer “Yahweh” (YAH-way); others prefer “Yehowah,” “Yahuweh,” or “Yahawah”; still others argue for “Jehovah.” As you can see, virtually everything is up for debate. Should YHWH be pronounced with three syllables or two? Should the vowels be borrowed from Elohim or Adonai? Should the W be pronounced with more of a W sound or more of a V sound? It is not the purpose of this article to settle the debate. Rather, it is the purpose of this article to discuss the use of “Jehovah.” The vast majority of Jewish and Christian biblical scholars and linguists do not believe “Jehovah” to be the proper pronunciation of YHWH. There was no true J sound in ancient Hebrew. Even the Hebrew letter vav, which is transliterated as the W in YHWH is said to have originally had a pronunciation closer to W than the V of Jehovah. Jehovah is essentially a Germanic pronunciation of the Latinized transliteration of the Hebrew YHWH. It is the letters of the tetragrammaton, Latinized into JHVH, with vowels inserted. “Yahweh” or “Yehowah” is far more likely to be the correct pronunciation. The form Jehovah, though, is very commonly used. It is used in the King James Version of the Bible {Genesis 22:14; Exodus 6:3; 17:15; Judges 6:24; Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4} It is also used, and strenuously promoted by, the Jehovah’s Witnesses. The Jehovah’s Witnesses emphasize the use of Jehovah to the extent that any other name or title for God is viewed as borderline idolatry or outright heresy. With all of that said, it is not crucial to the Christian faith for the proper pronunciation of YHWH to be known. Both the Old and New Testaments, inspired by God, use generic terms for “God” and “Lord,” including El, Elohim, and Adonai (Hebrew); and Theos and Kurios (Greek). If the authors of Scripture, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, were allowed to use these terms, it is not wrong for us to refer to Him as “God” or “Lord,” either. In conclusion, it is highly unlikely that “Jehovah” is the correct pronunciation of YHWH. Further, it is far more important to know God through faith in Jesus Christ, than it is to know the correct pronunciation of His name in Hebrew. Actually I thought Riofidelio you were the one to search the scriptures, Jehovah is Jesus right? It is great you have stayed as long as you have on this page-but in future, I hope this gives you some deep insight, and before you decide to write about anything find the information on the topic first. Riofidelio: |
{John 20:28} Thomas believed after he seen the evidence, My Lord and my God-had you noticed Thomas used the larger "M and L" letters, when speaking to Jesus.. Keep on believing in the truth, and the truth will set you free. Trinity name isn't written in the bible, but since you believe in the many scriptures from different bibles that Jesus is God-then what more can I say.. Riofidelio: |
Good, let them come, let them black list me, nail me on the tree-do exactly the same you did to Jesus. Yes I have your bible, and I have the in's and outs, about your bible, and we know why you don't teach from your bible, verbally you teach the doctrines of men, spirituality you are dead in your trespasses.. Turn from your evil ways you sinners and repent-lay down before God, cry out unto Him, and ask Him to forgive you. And plus your bible even agrees-upon the trinity, who Jesus is...and if you are seeking a better argument, prove you aren't a cult. Riofidelio: |
So you preach Catholic doctrines. {John 20:28} Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" The disciples spent time with Jesus, Jesus said; to Thomas you have believed because you have seen Me, but bless are those who haven't seen "Me" and believed. I have given many verses, to say Jesus is God: and still you deny the truth. I have even given you, your bible: and still you disbelieve in that too. It is a proven fact-verbally you deny your bible-but unfortunately the Watchtower had agreed upon this in the NWT JW's bible, {Revelation 4:8} And continuously, day and night, they say: "Holy holy holy is Jehovah God, the Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is coming," {Revelation 22:20} The one who bears witness of these things, says "Yes I am coming quickly: Amen! Come Lord Jesus." But you disbelieve.. Riofidelio: |
There are also external evidences that indicate the Bible is truly the Word of God. One is the historicity of the Bible. Because the Bible details historical events, its truthfulness and accuracy are subject to verification like any other historical document. Through both archaeological evidences and other writings, the historical accounts of the Bible have been proven time and time again to be accurate and true. In fact, all the archaeological and manuscript evidence supporting the Bible makes it the best-documented book from the ancient world. The fact that the Bible accurately and truthfully records historically verifiable events is a great indication of its truthfulness when dealing with religious subjects and doctrines and helps substantiate its claim to be the very Word of God. Another external evidence that the Bible is truly God’s Word is the integrity of its human authors. As mentioned earlier, God used men from many walks of life to record His words. In studying the lives of these men, we find them to be honest and sincere. The fact that they were willing to die often excruciating deaths for what they believed testifies that these ordinary yet honest men truly believed God had spoken to them. The men who wrote the New Testament and many hundreds of other believers (1 Corinthians 15:6) knew the truth of their message because they had seen and spent time with Jesus Christ after He had risen from the dead. Seeing the risen Christ had a tremendous impact on them, they went from hiding in fear to being willing to die for the message God had revealed to them, their lives and deaths testify to the fact that the Bible truly is God’s Word. |
Had you noticed who these people were that didn't want to translate the bible: as it was, Jw's have written their own bible, because verbally they couldn't accept all the truth the bible had given us. Verbally you deny this: but unfortunately someone had written this in the NWT JW's bible, {Revelation 4:8} And continuously, day and night, they say: "Holy holy holy is Jehovah God, the Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is coming," {Revelation 22:20} The one who bears witness of these things, says "Yes I am coming quickly: Amen! Come Lord Jesus." This is the many reasons, why the bible was written by inspired men of God.. Riofidelio: |
And you need to know men and women died believing in Jesus, look at what the Catholic Church done, they laid upon them as witches and warlocks. The disciples were murdered by Rome. The Word of God wasn't written by man alone, the Word of God were written by spirit filled men of God. The question we must ask ourselves is how can we know that the Bible is the Word of God and not just a good book? What is unique about the Bible that sets it apart from all other religious books ever written? Is there any evidence that the Bible is truly God’s Word? These types of questions must be seriously examined if we are to determine the validity of the Bible’s claim to be the very Word of God, divinely inspired, and totally sufficient for all matters of faith and practice. There can be no doubt that the Bible does claim to be the very Word of God. This is clearly seen in Paul’s commendation to Timothy: “… from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. {2 Timothy 3:15-17} All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. There are both internal and external evidences that the Bible is truly God’s Word. The internal evidences are those things within the Bible that testify of its divine origin. One of the first internal evidences that the Bible is truly God’s Word is seen in its unity. Even though it is really sixty-six individual books, written on three continents, in three different languages, over a period of approximately 1500 years, by more than 40 authors who came from many walks of life, the Bible remains one unified book from beginning to end without contradiction. This unity is unique from all other books and is evidence of the divine origin of the words which God moved men to record. A final external evidence that the Bible is truly God’s Word is the indestructibility of the Bible. Because of its importance and its claim to be the very Word of God, the Bible has suffered more vicious attacks and attempts to destroy it than any other book in history. From early Roman Emperors like Diocletian, through communist dictators and on to modern-day atheists and agnostics, the Bible has withstood and outlasted all of its attackers and is still today the most widely published book in the world. Throughout time, skeptics such as the Catholic's or the JW's have regarded the Bible as mythological, but archeology has confirmed it as historical. Opponents have attacked its teaching as primitive and outdated, but its moral and legal concepts and teachings have had a positive influence on societies and cultures throughout the world. It continues to be attacked by pseudo-science, psychology, and political movements, yet it remains just as true and relevant today as it was when it was first written. It is a book that has transformed countless lives and cultures throughout the last 2000 years. No matter how its opponents try to attack, destroy, or discredit it, the Bible remains; its veracity and impact on lives is unmistakable. The accuracy which has been preserved despite every attempt to corrupt, attack, or destroy it is clear testimony to the fact that the Bible is truly God’s Word and is supernaturally protected by Him. It should not surprise us that, no matter how the Bible is attacked, it always comes out unchanged and unscathed. {Mark 13:31} After all, Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” After looking at the evidence, one can say without a doubt that, yes, the Bible is truly God’s Word. Jesus didn't have to call Himself God, every body said it for Him. Here is some of the Bible Verses that say “Jesus is God” {Matthew 1:23} - “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” {Isaiah 9:6} For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. {Isaiah 43:10,11} “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior.” {Revelation 1:17-18; Revelation 2:8} (Jesus is the First and the Last) {Isaiah 44:6}(God is the Redeemer) {2 Peter 1:1} (Jesus is the Redeemer) “To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ” {Isaiah 44:24}(God created the world by Himself alone) {John 1:3; Colossians 1:16}(Jesus made all things) {John 1:1-3} In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made... {1:14}- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, {John 5:17,18} “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.” Therefore the Jews sought to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. {John 5:23} that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. {John 8:24} “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM [He], you will die in your sins.” {John 8:58} Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” {John 10:30-33} Jesus answered them, “I and My Father are one.” Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?” The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.” {John 14:6-7} Jesus said to him, “I AM the way, the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” {John 14:9-11} Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?” {John 20:28} And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” {Acts 4:12} “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” {Acts 20:28} (God purchased us with His own blood) {Revelation 1:5-6; Revelation 5:8-9} (Jesus' blood purchased us) {Philippians 2:5-7} Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of men. {Colossians 2:9} For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily {1 Timothy 3:16} And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. {Titus 2:13} looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ {Hebrews 1:8-9} But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” {2 John 1:7} For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. {Revelation 1:8} “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” {Revelation 22:13} “I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”... {22:16} “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches.” {1 Timothy 6:14-16} “our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.” {Hebrews 2:17-18} “Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.” {Hebrews 4:15-16} “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” {1 Peter 2:24} “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose stripes you were healed.” He went from sovereignty to shame and from deity to death? Why!? For you. {John 15:13} “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.” {Romans 5:8} “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” I have kept this for last, that even the JW's believe Jesus is God: and it is written in the NWT JW's bible, to prove the facts. {Revelation 4:8} And continuously, day and night, they say: "Holy holy holy is Jehovah God, the Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is coming," {Revelation 22:20} The one who bears witness of these things, says "Yes I am coming quickly: Amen! Come Lord Jesus." Riofidelio: |
Steve Ray did say that: but your not listening.. 9inches: |
You said: all this without the evidence.. Jesus instituted His Church on the Words-that Peter said from God, "the Word of God didn't come from Peter's mouth unless God directed him to say it. Peter was led by the Spirit of God. A woman in the crowd said: bless art the women that nursed you, Jesus said: bless art they, that preach the Word of God and obey it. So because the Catholic Church disbelieves the words Peter spoke, and not what God spoke through Peter-then the Catholic Church is built on heresy.. 9inches: |
What I am telling you, people can't just translate the bible-unless they are Spirit filled believers. It isn't about small to large letters-the bible is about knowing who God is, You Just can't translate something without the understanding: People like the JW's have tried, and look at their doctrine they twisted the bible so much, they can't even accept it,themselves. This is why you disbelieve in all bibles, because you teach from the Watchtower magazines. Which proves: you aren't a spirit filled believer, to even suggest God is your savour.. Riofidelio: |
{Matthew 10:22} You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Yes Jesus is talking about a special group of people-He said those who believe in Him shall be saved: Spirit filled believers-are saved-And this is your version of the spirit below.. Riofidelio:We did recently had the conversation about how the spirit speaks through us, and the above quote said you don't listen to the spirit-which also tells me you don't preach the truth neither, Yes Jesus is talking about a special group of people-born again Spirit filled believers, old men have dreams, young men having visions, and did you know God never stopped healing the sick nor did He ever stop raising the dead, Jesus said: And lo, I am with you always.” {Matthew 28:19} {John 14:23}Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Now test yourselves, do the JW's believe the Word is God? {John 1:1} |
Yes Jesus is talking about a special group of people-He said those who believe in Him shall be saved: which means follow His Word. {John 14:23}Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. If we were both madmen to the world, In Christ-we will be preaching the same message. Riofidelio: |
Riofidelio:But I am 'claiming the gospel-to you? Riofidelio:So does this mean, only by works you are sharing Watchtowers literature, through rain hail, storms, floods and tornado's delivering Watchtower messages around the world? What is so special about that: and where does God sit" Jesus said, go out unto all the nations and preach the gospel.. While right now, I am witnessing the Word of God in the comforts of my home: to people, just like you. {Isaiah 42:1-2} “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. Riofidelio: |
I have been to different JW's Kingdom hall meetings, the only secret society books they produced are Watchtower magazines, nothing more. over the years I had produced their NWT Bible, nothing really happens but only the denial begins. The Healing word is like a voodoo sign, and someone had taken the Word of God out of context, that they must all follow, {Acts 15:19-21, 28} is the Scripture Jehovah's Witnesses typically point to as the reason they refuse to accept blood donations. {Acts 15:20} says, "It won't matter how many times we have shared the Word of God and explained the scripture's telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood." It is clear from the context that the instructions were against eating / drinking blood, not blood transfusions. The JW's are like sheep following their shepherd, which isn't Jesus-the Watchtower have twisted the scriptures, not one have the strength to read the scriptures without having an elder at present-blood transfusions were not even possible in Bible times, but an elder are trained hypocrites murdering their own on everyday bases. There is no possibility that this Scripture could be referring to blood transfusions. There were many pagan religious practices that involved eating and drinking blood and/or strangling an animal to keep more of its blood in its meat. This is what the Bible speaks against, not blood transfusions. Is it acceptable for a Christian to receive or give a blood transfusion? Since the Bible does not explicitly say, a decision of this nature can only be made between a person and God. One consideration might be that God created billions of people over the centuries, but only four blood types, making it possible to transfuse blood from one person to another, regardless of race or nationality. These days technology had given people a chance to live-if you are a child of God, it's the gift that is in you-is giving. Riofidelio: |

I can only be justified by the Word of God. {Galatians 5:4} Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Jw's are known by Works, and works are a product of the flesh and are never acceptable to God to earn your salvation. Our problem as human beings is that we lack righteousness. "All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" in God's eyes, {Isaiah 64:6} And yet, God requires righteousness in order for us to be saved. Riofidelio:A simple answer for the above, is, by their fruit we will know them. Do you realise your righteous is as filthy rags, the bible say's "God never accepted our human righteousness, but God became flesh, {John 1:14, 1 Timothy 3:16} when Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, {Galatians 4:4, Matthew 1:18, 23, 25} He went to the cross and suffered all of God's wrath against our sins. His perfect sacrifice was accepted by God, {1 John 2:2} We know this because God raised Jesus from the dead, {Romans 8:11, Acts 17:31} God freely gives us His righteousness when we receive the gift of God which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, {Romans 4:5-6, 5:17, 6:23} This is the Bible doctrine of justification by faith. Did you know the "fruit is a product of the indwelling Holy Spirit and is one evidence you are born again. If your life doesn't exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, you need to examine yourself, if you aren't preaching the Word of God-you aren't filled with the Holy Spirit at all.. Riofidelio: |
One of the most significant events recorded in the Bible happened on the Day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit came down to permanently indwell the disciples, and the church age began. The New Testament does give the description of the events: Now when the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance {Acts 2:1-4} {Acts 2:1} literally reads, "As the Day of Pentecost was being fulfilled." What was fulfilled was the prophecy given by both Jesus and John the Baptist concerning the coming of the Holy Spirit. John had earlier said of Jesus: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after Me is mightier than I" He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire {Matthew 3:11} Now it was ten days before Pentecost Jesus reiterated the prediction. For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now {Acts 1:5} The coming of the Holy Spirit was also to give power to the believers: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth {Acts 1:8} When Pentecost occurred, the Holy Spirit came as promised, baptizing the believers into Christ and giving them power to be His witnesses. Now the beginning Of The Church Age: Pentecost was also the birthday of the church. The Old Testament period of law was concluded and a new era began. Those who believe in Jesus as Messiah during this present age become part of the body (or bride) of Christ known as the church. The church age began at Pentecost and will conclude when Christ comes back for His own. The Day of Pentecost also witnessed signs which followed the coming of the Holy Spirit. As Jesus had predicted those who believed spoke with new tongues: And these signs shall follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues {Mark 16:17} The Day of Pentecost also saw the first converts to the Christian church. When Simon Peter delivered his sermon proclaiming that Christ had risen, some three thousand people became converted. Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them {Acts 2:41} So where does the Catholic Church fit in all this: the Catholic Church was never called the day of Pentecost? 9inches:And Like you said: There is no Scriptural evidence of independent local churches. "Just like the Catholic Church.. 9inches: |
I did listen 'why he returned back to the Catholic Church, But 'you aren't listening, why he returned back to the Catholic Church? He was brought up in a family of protestants, he become a pastor, he witnessed to those outside the square-yes he made all the right moves-but deep down he knew he never believed in the scriptures. {Matthew 15:8-9} ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ And what prefect Church for Steve Ray to return back into 'the Catholic Church teaches the commandments of men! {2 Thessalonians 2:1-3} Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first. After listing to Steve Ray-obviously he may have been a stumbling block towards the Church-God had giving Steve Ray the desires of his heart. 9inches: |
First you say you wanted to learn the scriptures, you had come up with your sad story, your parents have brought you up this way. Now you refuse the idea, to seek the truth. Riofidelio:We do know the JW's don't practice interfaith, "because faith comes by hearing the Word" reasons, are, by works it gains your only access to the chosen 144000. And of course you can't believe in the Spirit of the Lord, because you can't accept he ever existed. {2 John 1:10-11} If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. Riofidelio: |
{2 John 1:9-11}Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. Which tells me I will not share in your evil deeds-the doctrine you bring to me, is not the Word of God.. Riofidelio: |
And if you really want to know the truth, you need the Spirit of the Lord to guide you! Because without the Spirit of the Lord guiding you, nothing you read will make any sense. Just like you have written below.. Riofidelio: |
I will say it again-Listen Riofidelio: you want good advise, If you are truly searching for the truth, read the bible that is right for you. If you are serious, forget about everything, ask the Lord to guide your way in studying, ask the Lord to open up your eye's, allowing Him to show you through the Holy Spirit to open up the depths the heights and the widths concerning the scriptures. And if you truly believe in the scriptures-then study them, but this time ask the Lord to guide you. Listen Jesus wasn't joking, when He said: He will send His Spirit to us. I know the JW's believe the Holy Spirit is an active force-but if you are serious about finding the truth, then nothing will stop you, unless you are not really interested to find the truth, and you will find more excuses why this bible says this, or that bible says that? Riofidelio: |
JW's don't like sharing in the community, JW's don't fellowship with other believers that don't fellowship with them, are you kidding? JW's look out for JW's, I have had group home meetings, with JW's verses Born again believers, the elders are sharks at this game-they seek after the weak-they twist the scriptures, they look for the young-and before they know it, the JW's have corned them into a corner. JW's don't give anybody the time of day-if we aren't knowledgeable in the Word of God, they seek to devour the innocent. I am not here to listen to these lies, about the JW's, ask anybody outside the watchtowers camp, we have all had some sort of waste of time with them. JW's don't like listening to the truth, they black list you, as soon as they know we have some sort of bible knowledge they stay away from you. Riofidelio: |
Listen Riofidelio: you want good advise, If you are truly searching for the truth, read the KJ bible, I have found this bible is one of the most truthful bibles, that is ever written concerning the Word of God. If you are serious, forget about everything, ask the Lord to guide your way in studying, ask the Lord to open up your eye's, allowing Him to show you through the Holy Spirit to open up the depths the heights and the widths concerning the scriptures. Jesus told His Disciples He will send them a helper, to show them the way. And if you truly believe in the scriptures-then read:{John 14:25-26} All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you. Jesus wasn't joking, when He sent His Spirit, to us, you haven't the understanding now, but if you are serious about finding the truth, you will find the Lord.. |
I am speaking the truth to you. Riofidelio: |
