Please who has a contact in unical , my hubby has been on his masters evaluation since last year. Please helppppp

So i had my baby on the 2nd of Jan through scheduled c-section @ hnwmc . Dr xydas. Everything went by quickly on that day. Before I knew it my baby was brought out weighing 9 pounds and I was back in the recovery room with my baby.
We were discharged 2days later. In all everything went well i thank God.

Dr xydas wasn't the one that took my delivery ,another doctor did( meet him just once during my antenatal visit ) . The nurses and everybody at the hospital were nice and friendly,also got some freebies like diaper,wipes,breast pump, nipple shield , few clothes.

Doc fees,hospt and anastetic fee was paid for on my first appointment date.
I got baby's Ssn a week later after delivery. Birth certificate too .babys amercican passport will be done when my husband arrive next week . My husband has also booked babys ticket (qatar airline) for # 53k

Yet to receive pedetrician bill during delivery. I have called them twice they said they don't have my details on their system. Dont know how to go about it yet.

Planning to get my zero balance when I go for postpartum visit next week.

In all it was a nice and wonderful experience ,which I'm grateful to God for. Everything went as prayed and planned for .my host is a wonderful woman,really going to miss her when I leave here.

Please any suggestion on how to sort out pedetrician bill

Please does it mean you gave them 3 medical reports?
One from your dr, one from Port health and the medif form?

Yes .medical report from my doctor (I got it 48hrs before my travel date) , and the one from port health was presented before collecting boarding pass.

The medif forms ( also to be filled by your naija doctor) was scanned to the airline email 7days before my travel date.

1. You declared at Interview that you knew someone in the US or would be staying with someone.

2. If your excess cash of 10k was declared prior to boarding.

Note: my visa was a b1/b2 visa. Used it for tourist in dalas and houston last year. Stayed at a hotel in Dallas and studio apartment in Houston .

1. I know people in US but didn't say I'll be staying with them. Used hotel reservation


2. Yes I declared over 10k$ on the form given to me before boarding

So I came in through Houston Poe on 23rd november (exactly a week ago) .i've been lazy to type my Poe experience.

Got my visit visa last year and used it for vacation both I hubby and toddler.got pregnant this year and decided to give birth with it.wrote the embassy and also got correspondence from hnwmc,Dr xydas.
Ever since we decided to go give birth in the us ,I've been praying about my journey to the us ,my stay , delivery etc and everything has been smooth so far and it will till the end by God's grace.

hubbys friend helped us to get accommodation with an American woman (May God bless her ,she's nice and sweet ,her kids are lovely too). And the accommodation came with transportation and feeding. She even said there's a spare Car for me to drive if I wanted to( fear no go fit let me drive for america) .

Back to the Poe story.

I and my toddler came in with Qatar airline.sent my medif form and cert. like 7days to travelled date. Hubby was at the airport some days later and went to ask if it was approved and they said it was ( travelled at 33 weeks 4days) . Also went with fit to fly from my doctor also did medical examination at d airport. Journey was smooth ,got to Doha and got airport accommodation , had my bath and had a good sleep.

From Doha to us was not bad too. I had a roll to my Self so I was able to sleep and stretch my legs. The air hostess kept asking if I was okay and needed anything. Also bringing chocolate ,sweet and snacks for my son .i applied to use a wheel chair but didn't eventually use it ,

At Houston there was a long que , I joined the que ,when it was almost my turn my son started shouting that he wanted to pee. I was allowed to take him to the toilet then come straight to the front.

Me: to have my baby
Cbp:How long will you be staying
Me: *****
Cbp:How much do you have on you
Me: ****** (more than $10k)
Cbp: I'll have to send you to secondary inspection cos I can't count your money here) .

He called some to come take me there. I waited for a while ,then I was called

Cbp: what's the name of d hospital u are using?
Me: told her
Cbp:How did u get the cash
Me:Told her some from pta and d rest from beaut De change
Cbp: where will u be staying
Me : told her my host name and her address (she typed it on the system) and asked how much I'm paying her.
Cbp: do you have a credit card on you.me: yes
Cbp: make sure u pay all your bills and get the receipt and always take it along when travelling or else your visa will be cancelled .
Then she stood up and said follow me. She took me to an escalator and asked me to go down to Agric.
Went there and my bags were brought to me , it was scanned and my chicken nooddles was seized but every other food made it ,came in with all kinds of naija food.
Waiting for my first appointment tomorrow.

Hi. Will be flying Qatar at 33weeks by last week in November to Houston . I need a company too,I've been worried that I'll get bored when I get there . I'm going with my toddler of 2yrs + , hubby will join us in Jan. Not yet settled where I'll stay ,I'm thinking of renting a place while hubby wants us to stay with his friends family in case of any emergency .

My last scan, baby was weighing 511g @ 22 weeks that was jst 4weeks ago . his weight has doubled in just 4weeks. The sonographer was asking me if my hubby is tall or huge cause the baby is big for 26weeks. Hubby is neither tall nor huge same with me.

I met a lady last year her 2nd baby weighed 8kg at birth(never heard of such in my entire life)So since then I told myself that I'll be conscious during pregnancy since my first was 4kg plus. I no want giant baby abeg .

Cut down on sugar intake

I don't take anything sugar o, i only eat small portion of food morng and evening,i dont take dinner sef. I eat banana and groundnut when im very hungry at night ,sometimes an apple( not a fruit fan this time around) My gynea said I should cut down on my cabohydrate intake and avoid meat.even before i became pregy I don't eat meat. Only fish since I got married so it must be the carbohydrate intake ( I had to cut down on beans and anything beans since I read on this thread that too much beans causes one to birth big baby).it is well

went for scan today and baby is already weighing 1.1kg at 26weeks. please someone should tell me what to do in order not to give birth to a very big baby again. i have been watching what i eat since i took in (i eat small quantity of food) my 1st child was big too at birth. #teamjanuary#

Thanks mama. Went somewhere else and same thing, they even asked if I was sure I was pregnant as the uterus is so clear. They carried out urine PT for me and it was negative.

my privates have been itching me like crazy.. the more I itch, the more it itches me.. I'm certain I didn't contract infection anywhere.. cos I've only been using my own toilet, and I wash it well myself..don't know if it's pregnancy related.

is there something I can use without going to hospital

Please visit the hospital for proper diagnosis and treatment, don't take chances I beg of you.

Good day my people...I will be using Oakbend for Jan. and DR.F..Plan traveling December. i have gotten final feedback from Soulcare concierge for accommodation. About to make commitment but am still skeptical. Please i need feedback on your experience if you have used them before and also proximity to Doctor's clinic or a better alternative on a good accommodation that can accommodate two ( I and my Mum), Hubby will come after/close to delivery.

Welcome to d club. I'm team January too. Been spitting a lot too, I now brush my teeth plenty times a day to reduce the spitting. I also vomit sometimes too , mostly at night. Been worried mostly everyday since I got pregnant cos I miscarried my last pregnancy . may the lord see us through till delivery day ijn.

Good day house, The visit visa issued to us is a 3mnths multiple entry, but the condition states that "To be admitted for a holiday period of 10days". Initially we jst wanted to spend 8days Dats what we filled on our visa application form,but my sista Wants I and my son to spend more days with her. Please is there anything dat can be done for us to stay like 5days extra.

My husband has gone to collect our paspt today. They gave us 3mnths visit visa. Yiiiipy, can't wait to see my sista and niece. Please who knws where one can visit for tourist in cape Town ?

I am happy to inform you that imy visa was issued yesterday, and I went to VFS to collect it this morning. It was so surprising, because I submitted the application just last week thursday, and it was issued on wednesday, just 5 working days later.
When I first got the SMS on wednesday afternoon, I was at first afraid that maybe I was denied...I actually didn't sleep very well overnight.
I am so surprised, because I had been expecting a very long wait period from people's experience on this forum.
Thank you everyone that posted on this thread....it was worth the reading.
I also wish everyone who is waiting for an answer from the South African High commission a very positive news this week.
Lastly, I intend to travel to South Africa early July. Who has an idea about the cheapest tickets, how to get them, and the likely cost? The online South African airway portal is giving a quote of roughly USD 840. Thats quite cool, but will love cheaper.

Please I need help. I and hubby was denied visa last month under section 214 ( I believe it's cos of strong ties)

I want to reapply alone. The issue there is I want to change the hospital that I applied with the last time (doctores parati), I don't know if that's a red flag or not.

Also getting in touch with hospitals have not been easy it's either they don't reply mails or my calls enter voice mail. The only hospital I have been able to get response from is Pomona valley hospital medical center. And I don't knw if anyone av used them before.

Please whoever knows a hospital I can get quick response for interview purpose should please put me through.
