Igbos are a race too much. They are too stubborn and heady, they always want to claim right where they are suppose to mellow down, so as to simplify things. The pogrom of '66 would not have been if the Igbos in the North had not risen up and start drumming, making merry when the coup was carried out, knowing fully that the coup was hatched and carried out mainly by the Igbos in the force with the Northern leaders and forcemen being the most annihilated. Then 67-70 is a war situation which the Igbos, spearheaded by Ojukwu waged against Nigeria. That may not be termed genocide because the Igbos knows that they have no strenght capable of fighting and winning against Nigeria then but were banking on other Nations to help them fight the war.

We must be careful what we say lest it be counted against us. Women, sometimes may be held resposible for sexual assault that may come their way, by their dressing, but that notwithstanding, it is an act of irrespopnsibility for a taxi driver to have gone so low while on duty. He must have been doing that to some women before that of this girl, unreported. If it had been in the night, he could have raped or try to rape her. When the two are brought together we will hear the truth. There are a lot of rapist parading as transporters.

Why not having the required know-how to verify this information, I think some things should be noted about missing persons.

In the U.S. there is an organization known as Amber Alert while in Russia, it is known as Liza Alert which reacts to missing persons.

Can we in Nigeria set up an agency even if it is volunteer based and privately funded to tackle the issue of kidnappings and missing persons?? It is very urgent now.

Coz I do not see the required traction from government on this matter.
