in the fulham game he was excellent, but he was less effective in the Sparta game, maybe due to the undue physicality of the opposition. I think after 5 premiership games in that position is when we'll be able to judge his performances. In any case, he is out of the Blackburn game with an ankle injury, so Hleb might be back on the right with Dudu starting alongside RVP.

Sagna has shown how excellent he can be on the overlap, he got like 13 assists for Auxerre last season, and he is showing why. His defensive awareness is of course much better than Eboue's and that is also beginning to show.

I hope Eboue dosen't become more and more unimportant to the team. He looks good playing infron to Sagna in some matches and totally disappointing in some. Sagna also have that instinct of going upfront. One can still hope on his powerful strikes and crosses though.

A good team needs to have every kind of player to satisfy all the attacking options possible to win matches.
Check out AC Milan . . . . . . They got Kaka and Gilardino who can build and create from outside the box and score.
But sometimes, that method don't work . . . . . .Good interplay but the finishing is just lacking(United's problem).
This is where u need predators like RVN and INZAGHI or ETOO to get the job done for ya.
Players that pride emselves from defender's silly mistakes, goalkeeping errors and little details people don't even notice.
A good team needs a blend of the 2 to be double-sure.

I think you are being too hard on them. Dn't forget goals never come unless there is a mistake. Goals always come when someone fails to do what he should have been doing, or dose what he shouldn't have done. So strikers who score goals from defenders silly mistakes are fantastics. Because,it takes a good player to see when the goalkeeper is off his line.

I joined nairaland when it was just about 6 months old or there about. If you put your cursor on my username you'll see that i am user number 7006 on this forum. That means i have been arround for a long time even though i'm not a very active poster. Within this period i have studied Seun like a book. I make it a point of duty to study 'successful' people, make an analysis of them and file it away somewhere. Reason is that there is always something to learn from everybody no matter who the person is. I think Seun is a successful young man but not fulfilled.The difference between Seun and other successful people I know is that Seun became what he is today by 'happenstance' he ain't no genius and he knows that. That's why he's so scared of people who discuss intelligent ideas on this forum that he sometimes tampers with links to websites or totally removes such post. I don't have to say how many times mine has been removed. I am in essence making a case for Seun because he's so scared of people out of his awareness of his ineptitude and the fact he's bereft of ideas.
