I have to put together a website for my client and on it, he wants users to be able to Pay their PHCN bills, buy recharge cards, purchase National Sports lottery tickets (NSL) etc.

Now the problem is, how? I know it might entail signing to form of contract with these companies.
How do i go about that.
How do i make it possible for people to buy recharge cards on these sites. Just like prepaidnigeria, how do we get the recharge cards to sell?

I sure non of you guys have had a look at the movie "Amazing Grace" otherwise, you wouldn't be talking like this. We know the Nigerian movie industry isn't really doing well in terms of producing quality movies.

But must we keep whining all the time?
Just because South Africa won An Academy dosen't mean we haven't had any good thing here. 'Amazing Grace' is one.

I am a strong critic of the Nigerian movie industry but i get really pissed when people start these comparisons.
Please let's stop it.

As already said, south Africa has always been ahead of Nigeria.

We are not doing really well but that dose not mean that we have never had something good.

Last I heard was that Hleb isn't going no where as he's enjoying his saty in Arsenal. He has no reason to want to leave. Afterall he's playing every game except when he's injured.

Surprisingly, the Nigerian nurses are saying government should not increase doctors pay. Tha it will be discrminatory.
The nurses should get up and fight for their rights than sit back to grumble at any pittance about to come the doctors way.

@Radiant, Nothing can be more real. You see what baffles me about this whole thing is why the Nigerian people are not joining us in this battle. It is not just the doctors battle because that is the misconception.

The doctors have the know how to take care of themselves but what happens when the other Nigerians get sick and don't have the money to run abroad?

The practice and spirit of medicine in Nigeria is currently at it's lowest ebb. The Government both at the federal level and in various states have continued to pay lip service to the plight of doctors.

It is rather disturbing that out of 50,000 doctors, only 18,000 are currently practising in the country, 9,000 of that said to be in Lagos alone leaving the other sates to share 9,000 doctors some of which have crossed to other industries to make ends meet.

With a doctor-patient ratio of 1:7, is it not time Nigerians doctors began to raise alarm? I think it is also the duty of every Nigerian to wake up and fight for their right to good health care.

who are the people you discussed your Idea with and they thought it wasn't right? Well even if that had happened, don't make the mistake of thinking every Nigerian thinks the same way.

I am sure if you had discussed that with me i would have given you the ride-on.

As a matter of fact, Outsourcing is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

When i started, i didn't even look at it as out sourcing. I was forced into it when i realised that with every new code i learn, there was always another one i must learn. I then noticed what the indians were doing. Unlike Nigerians a programmer concentrates on programming, a designer concentrates on designing. So that an Indian who is a programmer will always reject a graphic design job. That made it easier for them. But it dosen't work that way in Nigeria because our people regard you are an amature is the web job you just finished dosen't look beatiful with graphics and flash animations all over so much that it takes forever to load.

An example is rugged Man's website. I know it's supposed to be a multimedia site but loading time should be taken into consideration. However, you can not blame the designer. He had to do that else he'll lose the job to someone else who was ready to give it all the aesthetics. Whereas functionality not look should be paramount. This left me with another problem. which means apart from learning all the coding languages, i have to learn photoshop, Macromedia flash and maybe master CCS. I immediately knew it was time to stop trying to be everything.

However, in this little time i have made a lot of friends who are also designers and people also know me as a designer. So what I do is get the job and hand it over.
This way I can handle many jobs at the same time. At the end of the day everyone is happy. The secret is, try not to be selfish like @ my2cent has said. You need to maintain a good relationship with your coders. I am now thinking of registering my company properly and then going into this full time.

But remember, you must have a good knowledge of web design so that when you are talking to your clients and potential clients, you should appear to know what you are talking about. Also it helps you paint a proper picture of what the job should be to your clients.

This should be good but i will like to see how it turns out. I am monitoring this thread.

Football will become a boring lot if this policy carries the day at the end. It will not just take away competition but it will remove players dedication. I know that if i were a footballer, i will stop working hard the moment i know that no matter how hard I work, i wouldn't make the team.

I think it is not just enough to Ban Airing of Big brother Africa but airing of Nigerians should also be banned from participating. It takes everything away from our precious African tradition of respect for the human private body parts.

It is true but i think that for you to remain proud when your team has had no silverware in four seasons, it is really a virture and shows loyalty to ones club.

This is really getting interesting. I think i'm going to be more consistent on this thread. Learning some tricks too my self. This weeked i hope to concentrate entirely on the premiership. Anything wrong with that.

I was in no doubt Nigeria will survive the scare and threat posed by the Ghanians. Why? In time past Nigeria has always survived similar situations. Infact it is more difficult to get Nigeria to win a match if not under immense pressure to do it. I remember a time when we had to score 3 goals to qualify for , was it Sydney Olympics. In this situation we didn't just need to win but to win by a wide margin and trust us, we went scrambling all over the globe and at last we did it and by the exact margin of goals that was needed -3 goals.

Let me now say that whether we will have an out right win against the south African is what i can not tell. You can see the ball is now in our court and the qualification in our own hand. The pressure is now less and that's my fear.We just might bungle it.

We need to have a win at home to qualify this might prove more difficult for the Dream Team IV from antecedence. We need to watch out!
