It is not true. Where did you get your fact from? You can only say some towns are Muslim majority like Ede, Iwo while some towns like ilesha, Ife are Christian majority. Comparing population statistics in each of these towns will suggest to you that you can only put Muslim as 50% and Christians as 50% until you get valid statistics to backup your fact. Muslims and Christians in Osun, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos states are 50:50 until you get valid population statistics.

Only Ondo and Ekiti are predominantly Christians with Muslims not up to 70:30 ratio or less. If you include Yoruba in kwara and kogi, kwara is Muslim dominated while kogi (okun) is Christian dominated. In total in South west, Christians are slightly higher than Muslims. I unofficially put it at 48% Muslims and 52% Christians (without including traditionalists, atheists or non-religionists)

And using christian-christian in Osun to justify muslim-muslim at federal level is irrelevant and baseless. If you have problem within the state, resolve it at state level. How many other states in Nigeria will what happen in Osun state affect? None! What happens at federal level affects everybody in Nigeria from North (majority Muslim) and South (majority Christians), muslim-muslim or Christian-christian can cause problem at this level. Muslim and Christians should be equally represented

Osun East Ife Ijesha are predominantly Christian 90 10, Osun West is mostly Muslim 70 30 while Osun Central is mostly Muslim at 65 35...... That's just it
