Looting is looting no matter wat it is used to do eventually. When you are a governor you are meant to lead the people with integrity,fear of God and with fairness. When such a person now starts mixing state funds which he has been entrusted with along with his private funds it means that he has chosen to go against every quote of the constitution he swore to uphold.

Those funds you so passionately say that he invested cld have been used to provide basic amenities which wld have impacted positively and directly on the ppl of rivers state bt alas he chose to use it for his own private biz believing that ppl like u who r naive wld say wat u just said.

Go to rivers state n see wat odili has done,asides p.h. wat other place has there been a meaningful impact in terms of development,infrastructure as well human capital development?

it will be easier for an orji kalu to be a president of nigeria than ibb coming back to power. He just doesnt have wat it takes. I totally agree with Onyema 1 in her illustration. A balanced mix of human capital training as well as the requisite equipments would ensure greater turnover in productivity for the company. There are quite a number of companys in lagos who specialise in leasing out equipments to oil and gas even some financial institutions structure the lease in such a way that it becomes bearable/workable for the company in need to actually get leased equipments

Even going past bus stops, you had to use the a/c in your car (I wanted to enjoy the heat of naija) because there seems to be anew phenomenon whereby they put very noisy megaphones on top of a high tree and chant Ibadan, Ibadan soliciting passengers. that is rather a crude logic you are postulating. You can nt solve a problem by creating another problem you just end up creating a pattern of destruction which is incapable of moving any situation positively. The governors quite alright have benn caught pants down with there hands in the cookie jar but dere is no rationality for subverting the constitution of the country so as to prove a point.

By the way why is it that the process is selective? why havent the friends of the administration been investigated? The issues i am after are:
1) you cant build something on nothing
2) if the crudeness is good enough for alams,fayose,ladoja e.t.c. it shd also be good enough for the nnamanis,odilis,bode georges,adedibus,.

as for atiku i still maintain that the man has guts but that is nt validating his candidacy for president. How many politicians would have gone through the disgrace,victimisation and outright disrespect by junior cabinet members and still hold his own?

It is pure and unadulterated that if U.S interests are in any country they protect it with every necessary tool available to them, the same way nigeria protected its interests in oil in sao tome and principe. , so why begrudge them that? it is wat happend in iraq (first and second war) and happened in vietnam(at a calamitous cost)

I agree also with4play that americas intervention does not automatically translate to success or saving of lives e.g. iraq,vietnam but it has helped to maintain a balance of power between nations so as to forestall a country being overrun by despots e.g. south korea vs north korea
