YerYer: Spot on. Although I'm not too sure If it is a ploy to destroy Trump though. In fact China also blamed the U.S for releasing the corona virus as a way to slow down their economy. What is suspicious though is how the media is blowing this thing out if proportion abs causing mass hysteria; it might hurt Trump's reelection prospects. All the blaming is conspiracy. No one intentionally created and dispersed this virus. In future though, it will become a tool of terrorists. And the media is in no way blowing this out of proportion, though that's Trump's claim. It is not media that's increasing infection and death numbers, nor is it media causing oil price drops. In fact, most investors knew the market was an unsustainable bubble and Covid19 is just the needle that's burst it. |

YerYer: My brokerage charges no fees for stocks, this is the reason I can buy just 1 share and now worry about commission. Prior to Nov last year though, they used to charge $7 to buy and another $7 to sell, so that's a total if $14. I used to buy larger amounts and hold doe a significant number of time just to recuperate my fees, but now I can ease into a stock u like without opening a large position. What's your broker called? frosbel2: Really ?
You are funny.
What are ,or what should be the attributes of Gods kingdom and how does Nigeria as a country perform when compared with Gods standards ? You are funny too, and if you had asked rhetorically, I would have renamed you frosJesusbel! Read one of Jesus responses to your question below and do work to find out more. The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast 18 Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? 19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.”
20 Again he asked, “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? 21 It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.” He also said, The Coming of the Kingdom of God 20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” I wonder what understanding you have of the above? frosbel2: According to the bible, Christians are called to be Gods ambassadors here on earth, a reflection of his kingdom, lights that should be emulated; the presense of which should drive our darkness and improve society.
Chew on this for now... Indeed, "Christians are called to be Gods ambassadors here on earth". Unfortunately, like all humans, they often fail, which is why we keep learning. I tell you the truth when I say the people of the future will be further evolved from the people of today, just as you are further evolved from those.who were before you. |

FOLYKAZE: I took the issue to church and Pastor subtly jabbed me, warning that he won't tolerate such discussion in his church. Many underestimate their own learning thinking their Pastor ought to know more. It's like they disregard the amount of work they personally did to acquire the knowledge that they have acquired and think their pastor ought to have done more work to know more. Such people have likely not read how Balaam's ass was smarter than Balaam so they value their pastor more than themselves. No wonder their love for others is as little as the little love they have for themselves, I think. If only they could understand that their own task/calling might be different to their pastor's calling. But typically of humans, they want everyone to be created in their own image, and be just like they are and understand as they do, as if knowledge, wisdom and understanding falls freely from the heavens on everyone's head like rain does. May you gain insight into thyself, I say, instead of seeking the insight of thy Pastor. |

FOLYKAZE: I know of a guy called Buzugee who share same idea as above, that the bible accounts is majorly allegorical. I don't have issue with that.
But if I may ask, what is your thought on afterlife. Would there not be rapture and sojourn to heaven in the literal sense? Is everything in the bible allegory I have no evidence for an afterlife or a heaven nor do I concern myself about such things, for Christ wisely advised that "Sufficient for the day is its own trouble", and I can't add "one cubit to my stature" by worrying. What I do know is that some are in heaven right here on earth, and some are definitely in hell. And no, everything in the Bible is not allegory. Some is historical - though bad history mostly, some is mythical, some made up, some corrupted, some of it is to make one think and so on and the whole of it is to make one a living human being. That said, the devil does not rest, so one must be diligent in one's reading while bearing in mind what the message is. |

Depends on what you mean by "Jesus", I think, because I can assure you that you would consider yourself unsaved; unable to live, for sure, if it weren't that you had some " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it", in and around you. (Though, I admit that Jesus is not the only word there is). See here. Stop where it starts " But John goes beyond the familiar concept of Logos", as that's gobbledygook meant for we religious folks only. |

Should be interesting. Who you rooting for? spize: The race for the White House has begun in earnest, and the outcome of the 2020 US general election will have an impact around the world. So what stage are we at now and how do you win the presidency? A slew of Democrats vying for their party's nomination have been campaigning and debating over the last year. In the coming months we'll find out who has won over enough voters to challenge President Donald Trump this November. From caucuses to conventions, here's what you need to know about the presidential election. What are the main parties? Unlike many other countries, in the US, there are only two parties considered by most voters - the Democrats (the liberal, left-of-centre party) and the Republicans (the conservative, right-of-centre party). Other "third-party" candidates sometimes participate, with the Libertarian, Green and Independent parties occasionally putting forth a nominee. |

FOLYKAZE: Really? I like this new twist. Does this mean Jesus didn't ascend to Heaven; there was no real ascension and any witness of such is allegorical? That is my own understanding, that Jesus didn't literally ascend to Heaven, but that he is in. Heaven because words we read about him being where most commonly refer to as heaven. It's like saying Jesus', and everything else written in a book, is to teach how to live a productive life and is to be used as an example or lesson or reason for living it (depending what you read, for some bits show how not to live, and time has significantly passed just as what is required to live today has also evolved). But you need to understand how tp read first, which seems to be beyond most. |
