Even basilico loco knows that's gonna happen. I must wonder if Mechan has the balls. He so doesn't want to have to be made to jail dump but he's not being given much choice.

Feels like an abuse of the legal system to me.
Anyone with enough money can petition the "police to act, accusing her of criminal conspiracy, de-marketing and cyberbullying", since the police will do what they are paid for.
I just hope the courts would not be so swayed to do what they are paid for and do the right thing by throwing this case out and awarding Chioma Okoli costs.
I'm not holding my breathe though. |

In summary, the Chinese carmakers have an issue with the company handling logistics and also, Telsa had signed a deal ensuring truck drivers only work with it (Tesla). So, gridlock till they solve the problem. The percentage of Chinese EVs being sold in Europe, although slowly growing, isn't that high sef. Western media just like blowing things out of proportion. I do believe the bold would be illegal in Europe. Source please. |

budaatum: In general conversation, where "intelligent Designer" is defined as god, I would have no choice.
In fact, I'd stretch further. If sufficient evidence is provided for God, I would not be an atheist. Same as I would not argue that I do not have a million pounds in my hands if I were holding a million pounds in my hands. |
Christianity Etc › Re: ATHEISTS!!! Tell Me Why You're Atheist And I'll (try To) Debate You. by budaatum: 4:05pm On May 07, 2024 |
CMdunk35: I'll tell you why I was convinced of the existence of God, first. It's a rather simple expression. You should look at a painting and know it's evidence of a painter. You've never seen Leonardo Da Vinci, but you know someone painted the Mona Lisa. And you'll look at a building, and even if you've never met the builder, you know there was one, because of the existence of a building. Same thing as the universe. I see all around me, a tiny fraction of the universe and I know that the birds, the trees, the skies the sun, the moon, how perfect creation is, I'd know it came from a creator. We can't be a set of random throw arounds, because the universe had to come from something. Order and design in the universe point to an intelligent mind. Let me know what you think🧡 I think this is one of the most lame excuses for the existence of a god. In fact, I think it is more the excuse for the existence of millions of gods, since the universe is not one painting, but more like billions of paintings painted by millions of painters with millions more to paint in the small details like single planets and mountains and valleys and rivers and living things. Then there is the problem of there being a god and therefore a god who created it, and another who created that god that created god ad infinitum. What do you think?

Many cried and wailed through the Buhari 8 years but want him back now the water is much hotter and àgbàdo. How they expected the same party to be any different and give them what they never got in 8 years would amuse me if it wasn't so painful.
What fears me more is the thought of the same APC not only doing the next 4, but the next 8 years. But I guess that's democracy for you. It slowly teaches people that they are responsible for their own pain or gain.
16 years though of repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting different results just shows how little we know and how much we need to learn to become responsible.

Freethinker87: Why go through all the trouble when you could just short the currency and make a killing like everyone else? Diversification. I've already shorted the currency, and even hedged it into the loan I gave you, but the currency goes up and down, so my killing isn't guaranteed, unlike the long-term interest payments from your B- rating which was guaranteed. And hopefully you'd default or renegotiate because you can't pay so I make even more. The only annoyance, as far as my portfolio is concerned, is now that you've gone from 18th out of 18 to 16th, I'd have to charge you less interest on future loans. |

The opponent might have their own foot soldiers, but one can always be foot soldier for one's preferred candidate, instead of wailing that the opponent's foot soldiers are better than me, as was the case with my Obi. Election is every 4 years, so I just need to work better next time, and the time after that and the time after that. The labour has after all only just begun.

I have many things running through my mind so fighting or arguing over those who already made it is not my headache right now. My own is, Nigeria leaders are not helping someone like me..I you're a big man, congrats to you but me, I will speak as I as feel it. Obidient or Disobedient, I don't care. People like helinus attacked me because I blamed Tinubu's govt instead of Jonathan's You (we) did not elect Nigeria leaders to help someone like you, is the point. And considering there are more people like you than "big man", it just shows how you (we) have not bothered to use our democrat power of one person one vote to elect Nigerian leaders who will help someone like you. Thankfully, the results of democracy are instant, as we are now finding. I would "attack" you even if you blamed Obi, do note, as blaming others means not blaming yourself. Why we never voted for any non-APC leader after the constant moaning about Buhari's APC just astounds me. |

Nigerian banks make me laugh. Imagine paying to deposit money in my bank account when the bank will use my money to make more money for them self.
It's the ignorance of Nigerians that makes this possible. In most countries, banks pay you (interest) to deposit your money with them. |

Freethinker87: Here is the Fitch rating chart, tell me if you’ll invest in this economy as an investor. I might, especially if the investment is a loan on which the interest charged would be high due to inherent risk. And hopefully, you will default, which will increase the principal you owe on which you'd pay an increased interest since it's not like a country can file for bankruptcy. I see your point with the fg spin, however. |

All the infrastructure Buhari built, second niger bridge, what's the effects on Anambra?

You guys keep seeing it... But yet keep doubling down on infrastructure on borrowed funds... It hasn't worked since 1960 won't work now
Only a foolish government borrow money to build infrastructure ... NLcivilian: I will start from the last statement- that's not me but those guys are really off point and I'm not in the mood for their nonsense. The bolded is so funny honestly... Buhari's govt was bad but the poor were still breathing because many of us was able to afford tfare but we all know how things changed for many since Tinubu got there. Who is responsible for removing fuel subsidy without plans? Am I responsible for the present fuel scarcity? Who should I blame? If "those guys are really off point and I'm not in the mood for their nonsense", you would have ignored them. Blaming others just shows you are not responsible, so why would I hire you when I need you to be responsible for making me money when you can't even make your own transport fare money to my workplace? Thankfully, you showed me on day zero that I'd get excuses of you blaming others, and thereby saved me the loss of hiring you. P.s. I am obidient, but we are all responsible for electing Tinubu, and we deserve the pain we inflicted on ourselves. If Buhari's government was as bad as you claim, why the heck elect his party for another 4-8 years? Hopefully, we'd remember how badly we hurt when the next election comes up, though I do doubt we would.

MEEVEET:
Building infrastructure with loan is a recipe for disaster it has never worked . .. It makes absolutely no sense
Imagine a struggling business is given loan and they use it to build or renovate their head office? Or buy boss an official car "Build or renovate their head office, Or buy boss an official car" is not "Building infrastructure"! Building infrastructure is when you increase your productivity, like renovating or building a factory, or improving a road to lessen congestion. And taking a loan for it is good business. |

I got a job last week and I was told to resume this week. Today, I tried everything I could to meet up but no money so I called my boss that I won't be able to come today and he said, okay. I thanked him and started hustling to get the money for tfare.
This evening, this same boss called me and told me that, my appointment has been terminated. I started begging and crying but he said, I am starting with excuses and that won't be tolerated.
Tfare that should be around 3,500 jumped to about 7k from my place because of the fuel scarcity. A country that has nothing to offer yet cursing us pains and suffering.
I'm back to my usual self now because of the failed govt.
And I want to use this opportunity to apologise to someone I offended via email I sent today...pls for God sake, forgive me. I would have sacked you too. If you can't solve your own problem, how the heck are you going to solve the problems I hired you to solve? The fact that you've posted this in politics just shows you want to put the responsibility of your inability to solve your problem on politics!
