ambale:No, I do not yet want them to list on the Nigeria Stock Exchange. A corporation of semi-educated and non educated tomato and okro sellers can not aim that high. Cooperatives and associations are just one step towards corporations, which they are bound to evolve into in due time, or die. |
At least they are being biblical. Though, since eyes are still closed it can't yet be seen how. “And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
|
ambale:The argument is not about associations, nor cooperatives as we currently have, but about corporations. The type you can float on the Nigerian Stock Exchange to acquire more money to invest. |
Whoa! Not expected at all. Though, it is Chelsea, and their impatience. Pochettino steered Chelsea to just one defeat in their last 15 Premier League matches, turning 11th place in April to a sixth-place finish. |

This is like when some Muslims asked for something to be postponed because of a holy day! |

From ages past, there have been banks. And there has also always been money - cowrie shells, kudi, owo, gold bars, or bank notes)Digital money is the next evolution of money, and bank notes would soon be as dead as cowrie shells, it seems. |
bemeruca:Here's a summary of the charges Trump is facing in Washington, D.C. for attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election: One count of conspiracy to defraud the United States applies to Trump's repeated and widespread efforts to spread false claims about the November 2020 election while knowing they were not true and for allegedly attempting to illegally discount legitimate votes all with the goal of overturning the 2020 election, prosecutors claim in the indictment. One count of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding was brought due to the alleged organized planning by Trump and his allies to disrupt the electoral vote's certification in January 2021. One count of obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding is tied to Trump and his co-conspirators' alleged efforts after the November 2020 election until Jan. 7, 2021, to block the official certification proceeding in Congress. One count of conspiracy against rights refers to Trump and his co-conspirators alleged attempts to "oppress, threaten and intimidate" people in their right to vote in an election. Read the full indictment, though I know you'd not comprehend any of it. |
This is death by unnecessary ignorance! What a waste. |
This is interesting, and I wonder if Sanusi will return as Emir if asked. Personally, I don't think he should, and should rather go do something better like become governor of Kano, and eliminate the alimanjeri system and further promote female education.

Pity that you ruined the topic with ignorant tribal nonsense, which is the exact same reason Palestine and Israel are at war. truthhurtsnaira: |
Rahmon0907 has provided a good example. His story about Sango and Ogun is as good a story as Marvel's Avengers. But with limited resources and by working alone (or by cooperating with a limited few since I don't know if he worked alone), this is what he can produce for now. It's a first step of his, no doubt. When Rahmon0907 evolves and works with others, his story will win him and them Oscars. Please like so he can continue to grow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xst4cj-c-fk?si=fUwjnSQ06dKA9_vi |
Khyrvxjzy:United Kingdom evolved from a nation of shopkeepers to a nation of big business. If we don't learn to work together and grow, we'd just continue attacking and killing each other and die. |
Khyrvxjzy:Your post did not explain your thought enough for his like to comprehend it. It's like I alone might form a YouTube channel, but by uniting and pulling resources with others we might form a television station and a media empire. Seun's inability to cooperate with others is why Nairaland has not evolved. Cooperating is hard, and requires developed minds with knowledge to abandon their own individual selfishness and unite to be collectively selfish and successful. If Jesus had not cooperated with 12 others he'd be no popular than John. Government and time, and the natural order of things are already doing what you suggest though, and it is in fact the principle idea of democracy, where individuals must form a party with others if they hope to succeed. |
wirinet:They also just lie like their leader dump. |
"Nobody is above the law," he said. The ICC is going to need to prove this is true, or African nations should refuse to recognise or abide by their law in protest.
|
bemeruca:Dump never made any request! And even if he had made a request before he ordered an insurrection, his request should still have been rejected because no one knew he had an insurrection planned. Damn dude! If anyone knew he had planned an insurrection, they would have ordered the National Guard themselves, for their own protection! |
MEEVEET:You did not read. And even if you did read, you can not have comprehended. So go read again instead of stupidly jumping to ignorant conclusions.
|
A better question is, do I think what I write would make sense to you. And the answer is, of course what I write would never make sense to 'maths is racist' you. |
ambale:This is not about supporting the government, but about uniting to support themselves. 100 welders pulling their resources and working together would form a factory and create an industry that would likely pay less tax per income than collected in total from each individually. They'd also hire others to support them and thereby create more employment. But as it is, the tomato seller can't pull together with the okro seller because they can't trust each other. It's a thing that time will solve. Small petty traders will eventually evolve and cooperate because the cost of doing petty business will kill them if they don't. |
Any sensible person would have rejected any National Guard dump requested before Jan6 because no one thought he would have instigated an insurrection. And if they thought he was going to instigate an insurrection on Jan6, it would have been reasonable to believe he wanted the National Guard to assist him. Basically, no one would trust that an arsonist called the fire brigade before setting fire. |

Khyrvxjzy:As in, as opposed to one man operations, people should cooperate and work together, so instead of one person selling tomatoes and another selling okro, they should cooperate and open a supermarket? Taxation would make this happen in due time as it has done in more developed nations. |
Job creation, perhaps. Besides, it's not like the wages for 2 checkers is equal to the wage some countries pay one. It does create inefficiency, no doubt, but it keeps one checker off Nairaland and mischief making. |
basilico:Like a new lie is better than an old lie you've been peddling for years and still have no evidence for apart from qnon kraken mules? You took the vaccines. Were the symptoms you experience a lack of brain function perhaps? |
